IA Masterlist
Part 6
Minors DNI
Lou was sat on the front of the stage, her legs dangling over the side, her guitar rested in her lap and her notebook was sat by her side, the edges were frayed and ink was spilled on the surface. By every sense of the word, it was worn; beaten up and used. She loved it nonetheless and took it everywhere with her, it was quite a thick notebook, stuffed to the brim with songs of course, but also pictures she had taken (of her loved ones, her fans, strangers, nature, everything you can imagine), fun things she had found like flowers that she pressed to preserve, receipts from places she had visited, small mementos people had given her: it was all apart of her creative process.
She had several like it back home, but nothing made her happier knowing that this notebook was also filled with Matty now, Polaroid's she had taken of him throughout their time together, making up for the years where he wasn't present.
A pen rested between her teeth as she strummed and hummed, she occasionally stopped to write something down before playing again.
Matty was watching intently at the side of the stage, listening to how her voice somehow filled the empty venue, despite it being huge and her not having a microphone. He was enamored with her, well and truly infatuated. He loved how she used notebooks too, not opting to write it on her phone like some people, she found it easier to write this way and so did he, the words flowed out of them easily.
"And I'm, on, my way to believing" she sings, liking the words so writing them down, nearly finished and happy with the song she was writing.
"Can feel you staring y'know" her voice catches his attention then, she didn't look at him as she spoke, too heavily focused on what she was doing. He feels like a child who was caught doing something he wasn't supposed to, his cheeks flush and he looks down at his feet.
"You can join me if you want..." She says, turning her head to look at him now, his heart pounds twice as hard and three times as fast as her soft eyes find his, as her lips prick up into a smile upon seeing him. He can't help but smile at the way she pats the spot next to her, it was cute.
He was wearing a hoodie which was a size or two too big for him, black jeans and his hair was slightly askew on his head. She liked him best like this, this was her Matty, not the persona he had created for stage, or interviews or online. This was just Matthew Timothy Healy, the boy she grew up with that she hated for most of her life, who had turned into one of the best things that had ever happened to her.
The boy she hated felt like a distant memory now, she doesn't know how long it's been since he confessed his feelings but she truly doesn't care. Every bad memory she had of him was overwritten by a wonderful one, ones that made her heart flutter and butterflies swarm her stomach.
She realises as he walks to her that he's not wearing shoes, his feet clad in a pair of black socks, making his footsteps that much lighter. His movements are slow and fragile, not wanting to disturb her thought process. He truly can't even believe she's letting him witness this, he finds it quite intimate, watching someone write.
He doesn't speak for a few minutes, just listening to her, watching her intently as she plays a few chords, then jots them down in her notebook, singing beautiful words, before she's scribbling them down.
"Sounds beautiful darling" he says, quietly, needing to tell her his opinion but not wanting to interrupt her.
"Thank you Matty" she says, still not looking at him.
"I can leave if you need to be alone" he says and she looks at him then, frown resting on her face.
"Hey no. It's okay. Don't leave. Quite like having you here" she says, her words rushed and panicked.
"Okay I'll stay" he says, leaning forward to place a peck to her cheek, awkwardly moving around the guitar.
He doesn't quite know what to do when she doesn't continue writing or playing. She's just staring at him, before she puts her guitar down next to her.
She leans her head onto his shoulder, looking out at the venue. She used to dream about playing venues like this when she was a kid, when they were just kids playing in George's garage.
When her own band started selling out venues similar sizes to the one they were at, sometimes bigger, she couldn't quite believe it, she suffered with imposter syndrome for many years during the beginning of her career. But something about this, playing with the four guys she loved most in the world (and becoming friends with some of the best people she had met including Jamie Squire, John, Carly and Polly) ... It was different.
But recently, she felt unbelievably guilty for being so happy here, the idea was ridiculous. She missed her band, but was also having the time of her life with the guys. She believed that if her own band knew how she was feeling now, the happiest she had ever been and unbelievably in love; they would maybe feel jealous and Lou felt guilty because of that.
"Are you okay, love?" He asks, voice still quiet, scanning her features, trying to work out how she was feeling.
"I... Um" she hesitates, she moves herself from his shoulder then, looking at him. Her thoughts are clouded with all the negative things she's been pushing down recently: the fact that she had been receiving an influx of hate recently, the fact she was missing her band and her family, the fact she was feeling a little lost, if not momentarily.
He sees the tears prick at her eyes and he's quick to pull her into his arms, lips pressing against the side of her head, into her hair, trying to soothe her. He realises this is the first time he's ever seen her cry and the sight cracks open his heart.
"Hey darling it's okay, I'm here" and truly that's all she needs to hear to stop her tears from falling.
"Talk to me" he says after a beat. He feels bad that he can't help but feels grateful that he's the one experiencing this for a change. Usually George or Ross would be in his place right now... Sometimes even Hann. But for once he got to have her like this and that thought (although selfish) was everything to him.
"I miss my bandmates..." She admits (only scratching the surface of what was really wrong) and the confession pangs at his heart for a bit.
"Are you not enjoying yourself anymore?" He asks and she moves to look at him.
"No... No it's not that. I- I miss them. But I feel guilty more than anything" she admits and he knows not to talk, to just listen, because that's what she needed at that moment.
"I feel guilty because I'm with you guys, having the best time. And they keep asking if I'm coming back and... I can't help but feel like I don't want to. I don't want this to end because it's been perfect. We haven't even been on tour that long but it's the best" she says, sniffling as more tears threaten to fall.
"But they know you're needed for the whole tour right?" He asks and she nods.
"Truth is I don't ever want to leave you guys... You've all made me feel... The most alive I've ever felt in my life... Especially you Matty" she admits and his breath falters at her words.
He made her feel alive. He doesn't quite know what to do with that yet but he'll unpack that idea when he's alone. For now this was about her and giving her a safe space to speak.
"I loved being on tour with them, don't get me wrong. I love our fans and our songs and... They're my best friends, you know... It was fun... But... You guys feel like family... When I'm with you... When I'm on that stage with you all, I feel like everything is going to be alright" she explains and he nods. He truly felt that too, even before she started helping them out on this tour. He admits that it's gotten better since she's joined and the thought that one day she has to leave, it truly pains him.
"You know you're a part of this family now. Always have been really. That's never going to go away love" he says and she knows his words are true.
"And if they truly love and care about you they'll understand how you're feeling," he says.
"I can't stay here forever though Matty. Eventually Carly will be back, where she's supposed to be, and I'll be on the opposite side of the world to you guys" she says and again the thought pains him.
"Unfortunately we can't change that love. I know that's a sucky thing to say but we can't. We just have to make this time we all have together, count" he says and she nods, knowing he's right.
"You're right," she says.
"We will continue to play the shows, we will spend every waking moment with each other. And I... I'll shower you with love every day... And when the time comes to say goodbye... Maybe it won't hurt as much, yeah?" He says, pressing a soft kiss to her lips.
"Yeah" she nods, feeling slightly better now, although she knows the more time they spend together, the more it will hurt to say goodbye. But she can't think about that now. So she decides to live in the moment, with the man she was falling in love with and her three best friends.
----------------------------------------------------------
A day off on tour was infrequent to say the least, but today they had one. They often wouldn't have time to actually do anything, they would either be too tired to wander the streets of whatever city or town they were in, or Jamie would be worried about them getting swarmed by fans. But yesterday, they had arrived at the city fairly undetected due to their flight arriving late at night. So with much persuasion from all of the band, Jamie was letting them explore today.
Lou couldn't control her excitement, so woke at 7am, she knew Hann might be up but the rest of the band would likely be asleep still. She slipped out of bed, hearing a groan from Matty, who's hand slipped from around her waist. Despite his groan, he didn't wake and Lou sighed thankfully.
She took a long, peaceful shower before slipping on a pair of jeans and a white crop, she smiled to herself as she applied some makeup, the "M" necklace dangling in front of her chest.
She slipped out of their hotel room, trying her best not to wake Matty. Their rooms in this particular hotel were all connected, she swore Jamie did it just to force Lou and Matty to shut up for a day or two (not that it stopped them). Each bedroom was connected to a large room in the middle, where there were large leather sofas and a small kitchen hidden in the corner. She spotted Hann sitting at the island there, reading a newspaper as he drank coffee from his mug.
He looked up from what he was reading, offering her a smile as she walked closer to him.
"Good morning sunshine" she says, her voice still quiet, too early to be louder yet.
"Sleep well?" he asks, already grabbing a mug and pouring her a coffee as she comes to sit next to him on the island. She nods at him and he smiles. Her eyes find the paper he's reading, seeing their faces sprawled out across the front cover, smiling at the group picture that was taken of them.
"What are they saying about us this time? Any slander?" she asks and he chuckles, eyes wandering over the paper.
"It's quite nice actually, makes a change really" and she nods at his words, taking a sip from the coffee, nice but not as good as the ones Matty makes for her she thinks.
"There's a lot of questions about you and Matty though Lou" he says, a hint of worry detectable in his voice.
"Yeah..." her voice trails off "been seeing a lot of articles come up on my phone too... People tweeting me too" she says and he looks at her then, trying to sense what she's feeling.
"You know you don't have to tell anyone what you are right??" Hann says and she nods at his words.
"Can't help but wonder if we're doing the right thing" she says, knowing he is exactly the right person to talk to about this. Hann will always tell her how it is.
"What do you mean love?" he asks, needing some more information before he gives his insight.
"No matter what we do... people are going to hate us... some people anyway. If we tell people the truth, that we're just having fun, enjoying time together, figuring out whatever this is... then they might hate us... if we carry on doing what we're doing, not confirming it but not denying it either... people are going to continue to say we're being unfair... not telling our fans the truth" she says and he nods.
"He makes you happy right?" he asks and she nods again.
"And I know for a fact that you make him happy. When you're with each other, does any of it matter? What people might think or say?" he asks and she shakes her head"no ".
"So agree you'll deal with the consequences together, either way, whatever you choose" he says and she leans on his shoulder.
"Thank you" she says and he briefly grasps her hand, giving it a soft squeeze.
"You've been there for me with all the Carly stuff in the old days, only returning the favor" he says, but they both know it's more than that. The whole group would do anything for each other, they'd die for each other if they had to.
"What would I do without you Adam Hann?" she asks and he chuckles.
"Probably let George, Ross and Matty delude you into thinking the sun shines from your arse" he jokes and they both can't help but howl at how funny they find it. They hear two doors open after that, each revealing a grumpy band member: Ross and George.
"What the hell is going on out here?" Ross says and he says the two of them laughing.
"I know you can't be laughing at Hann, he really is not that funny" George says, the next to join them, placing a soft kiss atop her head. George's eyes drift to hers, searching around her as if she was missing a limb.
"Where's the grump?" George said, a nickname they had given Matty because he was definitely not a morning person.
"Sleeping" she says, a smile creeping its way up onto her face, no matter how hard she tries to hide it.
"Oh look at you" he says, gripping the apples of her cheeks.
"Shut up" she says, shoving him.
"Well I'm not waking him up" Ross says as he plonks down on a sofa behind them. She sees John leave his room, coming to sit with Ross and before she knows it George is leaving her to join them too.
She stands, hugging Hann quickly to say thank you before she grabs another mug, pouring a coffee for Matty before standing up and walking to their room.
"Please for the love of god dont have sex whilst we're all awake" she hears George shout and she laughs.
"Wouldn't be the first time George" she shouts back, hearing him groan as the others laugh.
She slowly opens the door to their room, eyes flinching as she sees him stir in his sleep at the light that makes its way into the room.
She moves leisurely across the room, not wanting to suddenly wake him. She carefully places the coffee cup on his bedside table. Kneeling next to his side of the bed, her fingers drift across his hair, pushing the curls away from his face so she can see him better.
Sleep is etched across his features, his eyebrows furrowed almost in a frown so she places a soft kiss there, careful not to wake him yet.
His soft snores continue to fill the room and she smiles, she doesn't quite want to wake him, he just looked so darn peaceful.
"Matty" she says his name softly, accompanying her words with a kiss to his cheek making him stir. She repeats his name again, placing another kiss to his lips this time.
"Hmm" he mumbles, the kiss awakening him, out of instinct they press firmer against hers and his hand is quick to grab the back of her head, not letting her go just yet. She laughs against his mouth and he smiles, breaking their lips for a few seconds before they're back on hers.
"Morning" he grumbles, his morning voice awakening something inside her, like it always does.
"I made you coffee" she says, trying to distract herself from the feelings his voice draws out of her.
"Mhmm" he says, pulling her up from her knees and grabbing her so she falls on top of him.
"Now isn't that so much better?" he says, voice deep, the vibrations resonating in her chest.
"Matty we have to get going, everyone else is up" she says.
"Mhmm, everyone is up" he says, his words having a completely different meaning to them, and she knows exactly what he means as he raises his hips up to hers. She can feel him hard and heavy beneath her and her breath becomes bated at the feel of him, looking down at him she sees the all too famous smirk resting on his lips as his usual dark eyes are blown wide.
"Someone's definitely awake now" she says and he flips them, making her chuckle.
"Had a dream about you" he says as he smears his lips against hers, she tastes like coffee and he groans at the taste.
"Clearly" she mumbles against his mouth, making him chuckle.
They're abruptly disturbed by a loud knock on their door.
"What!" Matty shouts, making her chuckle.
"We have plans, remember!" they hear George say and Matty groans as Lou pulls away from him.
"He's right. Come on" she says, pressing against his chest to slip out from underneath him before tugging him upwards, out of the bed.
"You can sort that out in the shower" she says, gesturing to his erection.
"You will be the death of me" he confirms with a firm kiss to her mouth, one that completely knocks the air from her entire body, especially when his tongue aggressively presses against hers. He leaves her after that, stunned and a little bit (or a lot) turned on.
She returned to the others in the larger room, sitting by herself as they were wrapped up in some conversation she had no interest in partaking in, something about football.
She found herself scrolling on Instagram, interacting with fans who had commented on her recent uploads, a few of which were of Matty. She couldn't help but read some of the negative ones too, and suddenly she was in a deep trance, reading negative comment after negative comment. A few people were calling her a "slag" or "slut" and it did make her chuckle but also made her stomach churn. She has always had this desire to be liked, and when people didn't like her, she hated it.
She hadn't realised how long she had been scrolling but suddenly Matty was standing in front of her, his shadow casting over her features, but even that didn't make her eyes leave her phone.
He called her name: no reply. It wasn't until he was pressing his fingers against her chin lightly that she looked up at him.
"Ready to go love?" He asks, his features soft as he looks down at her, thumb gently running along the apple of her cheek, feeling like something wasn't quite right.
She tries her hardest to push the thoughts away, and does so quite successfully. She nods up at him, taking his hand as she stands.
"So I think John, Hann and I are going to go to this record store" Ross explains and Lou, Matty and George nod. Jamie, Jamie (manager) and Polly agree to stay at the hotel, needing some alone time.
"We can meet somewhere throughout the day? I'll call you" He asks as he pulls her to his chest, hugging her tightly, before hugging the others. She quickly hugs Hann and John, saying their goodbyes.
Lou, George and Matty decide to go to a local park, walking along in the sunshine, talking about all sorts. They pick up an ice cream each along the way, each trying each other's flavors. Matty walks with his arm hung over Lou's shoulders and she takes pictures of them throughout the day.
A couple of fans notice them and kindly (and quietly) ask them for photos which they accept. They appreciate that they don't draw attention to them, letting them enjoy their day off in peace.
They continue walking along the park, stopping to look at the trees, to guess what type it was (as if any of them had a clue), Lou would often stop at different flowers, naughtily plucking a few and begging Matty to let her weave it into his hair.
"Stop being a pest" he chuckles as he attempts to push her hands away from his hair.
"C'mon Matty! You'd look adorable... Please" she pleads with a pout on her lips. Matty has to seriously resist the urge to place his mouth against hers to remove the pout.
"C'mon G help me out here" she says and George holds his hands up.
"I'm not helping you with anything" he says and she frowns.
"You're both boring old men now" she says, Matty and George share a look as mischief clouds their features. They both set their eyes on her and she knows she's screwed. They both run towards her, George picking her up off the ground by her waist, Matty quickly finds her sides, tickling her. She squirms in her best friend's arms and all three of them laugh way too loudly.
A few onlookers scowl at them as they walk past making them chuckle as she's set back on the floor.
"Miserable fuckers" George's says as they laugh. They continue their walk along the park together, eventually wandering off into town to meet the boys in a coffee shop Ross had told them to meet them at.
He had popped a heads up in their group chat (a new feature for their group) that a group of fans was crowding outside, not too many, about 4 or 5. He said they seemed nice enough and said they're hellos and then let them enter the shop.
Lou found herself getting nervous the closer they got to the coffee shop, what if they hated her? What if they were amongst the few that had started to post mean things on social media?
George seems to sense something is wrong and hooks his hand in hers, squeezing it tightly. They see the group that Ross had texted them about, she spotted almost instantly the daggers they were shooting her way.
George's hand nearly slips from hers and she's quick to whisper "please don't let me go" to him, he doesn't need to be told twice, placing his hand firmly in hers.
The group are quick to say hello to Matty, pulling him in for hugs and pictures. George gives Lou a look as they look at him and she nods, letting go of his hand reluctantly. She awkwardly stands there, getting the sense they didn't want to say hello to her. They quickly took photos with George before they were saying goodbye.
George comes to stand next to her again, placing his hand back in hers and walking behind Matty into the shop.
He takes a step into the shop, door open, leaving Lou to still be out the door. They both hear the fans' words at the same time and she flinches as she sees the look on George's face.
"See you've moved onto George now... What a slag" one of them says as the others laugh meanly, it felt like she was back in high school. Although online comments hurt, she was quite good at distracting herself from it all, but in person was a whole new kettle of fish: it was completely unavoidable.
"G just leave it" she says, looking up at him silently begging him not to step back outside.
"They can't say shit like that to you" he says, voice loud enough for them to hear.
"It's fine G really. Let's just go inside" she says.
Matty hadn't noticed the two had stopped in the doorway so he proceeded to sit down with the other boys.
"What's going on with them?" Hann asks and Matty shrugs his shoulders.
"The fans probably wanted to say something else" Matty says, not knowing what had happened. If he did he would've been straight out there, telling them exactly what he thought of their mean words.
"Please G, drop it" she says, hearing them say more stuff behind them, things about how Matty's ex's were prettier than her, how she 'wasn't even that good' and how they could've got someone better to replace Carly.
He sees tears spring to her eyes and instantly steps into the threshold. He begins to say something to her as the door shuts but she interrupts him.
"I don't want to talk about it" she says as she moves to the table the guys are sitting at.
"Well I fucking do" George says, his voice raised, drawing all their attention to the lanky lad as he plonks himself down, arm wrapping round the back of her chair in defense, as if it would protect her. The waitress comes over and asks them what they'd  like to drink.
"Latte please" she says weakly. The waitress looks at George who doesn't meet her eyes, making her awkwardly walk away.
"Care to explain what's going on?" Ross says, getting completely ignored by the both of them. Matty's eyes flick between the both of them, utterly lost.
"You say you don't want to talk about it as if that's not the first time that's happened" George says, she can't look at him because she knows exactly how he'd look.
Pupils blown wide in anger, facial features furrowed  and the vein on his neck would be popping out. She knew the look all too well, having seen it on many occasions in the past, most of them when she had broken up with someone or someone had treated her badly: just like this occasion.
Matty looks at his best friend, seeing a look on his face that worried him, one which he rarely saw.
"What the hell are you two on about?" Matty then asks, and she looks at him, seeing how worried he looks, he sees the remnants of tears in her eyes and his hand quickly finds hers under the table, squeezing it tightly in his own. God she was thankful for him right now.
"Those fucking 'fans'" George says, fingers raising in the air to punctuate the word fans "said shit about Lou okay? And I get the impression it's not the first time"
They're all looking at her now, anger sketched across every single one of their features, even John looked angry and she didn't think that was possible. He was practically a walking marshmallow.
"It's not the first time and it won't be the last. Doesn't change anything" she says simply, trying not to get upset.
"Yes it fucking does" George says, his eyes softening as she flinches slightly, he places his arm on her shoulder, softly squeezing as if to say sorry.
"Alright George calm down, she doesn't need that right now" Matty says, usually that would be something Ross would say but she's so thankful it's him this time.
"Sorry I'm annoyed" he says, arms crossing as he huffs.
"We all are mate, but it's not exactly helpful is it?" Ross says.
"What have they been saying Lou?" Adam says, his words carefully spoken as not to press too much.
"Just silly comments about me being a slag. It's fine honestly"
"That is not fine" it's Matty who is talking now and she looks at him and frowns.
"Love they have no right saying shit like that" he then says, squeezing her hand again. The waitress brings over her coffee awkwardly, not wanting to disturb the heated discussion.
"There's nothing I can do about it. They think what they think and it's fine" she lies, eyes drifting down to her and Mattys intertwined hands, before looking at Matty, who was silently begging her to just tell the truth, sympathising with the fact she felt she had to lie to them.
"What did the ones out there say?" Ross points to the window, the people who were there now gone, which he's thankful for because he was one word from going out there and shouting at them.
"They said something about me moving onto George and then called me a slag" she says, looking down at her coffee cup, fiddling with the china.
"Moving on to G- Oh" Matty says, eyes finding hers again, eyebrows furrowing to say sorry, he shakes his head, letting her know she has nothing to say sorry for.
"I was just holding her hand" George explains, making the rest nod "That's why you needed that didn't you? You were worried they were going to say something" he asks and she nods at him.
"How long has this been happening?" John asks.
"A while...." She admits and in unison they all sigh.
"Love, why didn't you tell us? We would've-" Matty starts.
"Would've done what Matty? There's nothing you can do" she says, voice breaking slightly.
"We would've at least known Lou. We go through these things together, that's what family is'' Ross explains and she lets a rogue tear fall. She suddenly feels embarrassed that they're having this coffee in the middle of a random coffee shop (albeit an empty one with one waitress but still)
"I'm sorry" she says, her voice frail.
"You have nothing to be sorry about" Matty says, and she's the one squeezing his hand now.
"We will get through this together, if this happens again, you come to us and you tell us okay? Any one of us" Adam says and she nods.
They were a family after all.
They finish their drinks after that, they all stand from their chairs, slipping their jackets on.
"Think we're going to head back" Ross says and a few of the others nod. Matty and Lou share a look, explaining that they wanted to keep exploring and so they do. Ross is the first to pull her into a tight hug, only letting her go when her grip on him loosened. Adam is the next to squeeze her into his arms, his hand drifting along her back in a soothing motion.
George hugs her tightly next, whispering an "id kill anyone who would hurt you, you know that" and she smiles and nods as she pulls away. John gives a quick hug before they're all being ushered out by Matty, who secretly wanted nothing more to comfort her on his own now.
They continued walking along random paths, down streets that had little shops and stalls, popping into a few to see what they were selling.
At some point, Matty's hand brushes against hers and she grabs it, he looks down at their intertwined hands, a smile on his face.
"You sure?" He says, looking around to see if anyone was watching.
"We'll deal with the consequences together, yeah?" She asks and he nods, bringing their hands up to his mouth and pecking the surface of hers.
"Then I'm sure," she confirms. They walk around the rest of the day like that, eventually finding their way back to the hotel.
----------------------------------------------------------
They briefly wait outside the hotel, sharing a cigarette between them and sharing a few tight hugs, ones that let Lou know Matty had her. Before they're hiding away in their room because Matty can sense that she needs to be alone (with him of course).
She finds a comfortable position on his chest as his arms wrap around her, keeping her warm and safe. Usually listening to someone's heartbeat would make her anxious, something about the rhythm impacting her own, but she felt grateful to hear his. She felt like it made her know him more, it was intimate, hearing when it picked up or slowed down, when it skipped a beat: it was like his own symphony and she was just fascinated by it.
“Im sorry I didn’t notice something was up” he says, frowning down at her, she simply shakes her head and presses a peck to his mouth, letting him know it was okay.
"Tell me what other people have said" he says softly, his fingertips flowing through her hair, the soft strands easily gliding in-between his fingers.
"I can't Matty it hurts too much" she admits now it's just them. She doesn't have to lie around him, or pretend she's fine when she's not. She can just be.
"I know love, I know. But talking about it might help" he says and she's turning in his arms then, looking over his features. He truly was a very handsome man, she never once questioned why fans fancied him so much. She lets out a deep sigh before she starts talking.
"Couple of people have said you guys could have hired someone better to replace Carly" he scoffs at that, placing a kiss against her cheek as he murmurs "there is no one better". One of the cracks in her heart heals at those words. She wants to tell him the one that hurts the most but she's scared: scared he'll confirm her worries, reject her thoughts and feelings (like so many had done previously).
She sighs deeply again, shutting her eyes as she says "someone... A few people actually… have said your ex's were prettier than me... Nicer... Better for you" she admits, her last admission is the one that destroys her. He's silent for way too long and her eyes snap open to see him.
She's rarely seen him look upset but God he looks upset now. His lips are set in a clear pout, the bottom one almost wavering as he sets his eyes over her features, his eyes almost glisten, he's not crying, but his eyes are like glass, tears almost threatening to spring.
"Lovie" he says, frowning down at her, she's trying to sense what he's thinking but falls short. What she would do to crawl inside his mind now.
"Want to know the truth?" He asks and she nods.
"Always" she says, partly worried she wouldn't like what he has to say.
"I compared every single one of them to you... It wasn't fair... Not on them because some, most of them were lovely. I never ever, not once, gave myself to someone fully... I looked for you in everyone. You made it pretty hard to be honest..." He admits laughing at his own confession and she doesn't know what to say. Another confession that shocks her to her core.
Her mouth opens before it's shutting again.
"It's okay, you don't have to say anything. Just know. Know that you, you are everything I have ever wanted and nothing came close to you. I'm never letting you go. You are living up to every single one of my expectations, superseding them even" he says. All she can do is press her mouth to his, letting him know everything she couldn't bring herself to say.
I love you, you're my person, no one has come close to you either, this is the best thing that has happened to me....
She knows one day she'll tell him but for now, she presses her lips to his, moving herself so her legs are resting either side of his body. His hands find her hips as his back leaves the bed, holding her against him as she straddles him.
She breaks away from him for a split second, removing her top, his eyes don't break from hers, not even to look at her chest which is now revealed. His stare is intense, one that would usually make her confidence falter, make her doubt herself, but now, basking in his light, she felt safe, seen. His stare tells her what he thinks of her, utterly obsessed and addicted.
He bridges the gap between their lips again, moving downwards after a few minutes of loving pecks. His lips find her neck, scattering loving kisses along the skin, just simple but firm pecks.
"You're beautiful" he says as he delivers a kiss to her collar bone. Hands drifting from her hips to her waist, taking his time with her, something that was yet to happen.
Everything so far between them had been rushed, each of them desperate to show each other their desire, their passion, their need for one another.
She wasn't scared this time, she was ready to have him in this way. To show each other they loved each other even if they couldn't bring themselves to say it.
His mouth finds the swell of her right breast, hovering over the warm flesh, lips coming down to press firm kisses to the skin. Her hands find the curls at the nape of his neck, playing with strands gently.
His breath is shallow, mind toying with the idea of undoing her jeans, but not wanting to rush the moment. She looks so perfect, sitting in his lap, her jean clad core flush against his. She felt him through her jeans, already solid and desperate for her.
"I'm so lucky" he murmurs against her chest as his hands find the clasp of her bra. His movements are far too slow for her liking, almost painfully so.
"Matty" she sighs as her bra finally comes undone, crumbling into his hands. He discards it somewhere unseen as his calloused fingertips toy with her flesh. His touch is gentle, barely there, but still manages to send shock waves of pleasure coursing through her entire body.
His fingertips delicately move across her nipples, making them pebble under his touch. She has never had anyone be this gentle with her before and it was the least she was expecting from a man like Matty. But he was always one to surprise her, everything she had learned about him so far had been a pleasant surprise, this perhaps her favourite of all. He would usually struggle to be this way with someone, but with her it almost came naturally to him, he needed, more than anything else, to show how how he truly felt.
"Want to take my time with you okay? Is that okay?" He asks, wanting them to be on the same page. She's nodding as he mouths at her skin, mouth wrapping around her nipple, sucking tenderly at the peaked bud. His lips move down in-between her breast, pressing against the necklace he gifted before reaching the other nipple, tongue teasing it gently. She can't help it as her hips rut against his at the amount of pleasure it causes her.
His hands move back down to her hips then and he's slowly lifting her, placing her onto the other side of the bed, back flush against the soft comforter.
Her hands find his shirt, lifting it over his head, revealing his tattooed chest. She stares at him from her place on their bed, how his thighs are parted, accommodating her small body, how the chest scattered with tattoos that she loves is clenching under touch, how he can't help but place his bottom lip in his teeth as he watches her.
Her eyes drift up to his face, his brown orbs almost perforating into her skin, clouded by something much greater than lust or desire: love. She can't count the amount of times he had changed his hair in the time she had known him, but this, this was her favourite, when the curls sat awry on his head, the grey strands drifting among the black, almost unnoticeable at a mere glance.
She was absolutely besotted with him and the fact didn't scare her anymore: she welcomed it.
Her lips are the ones to press against his skin now, dedicating a whole file in her mind to how he felt against her, how the centre of his chest dipped and how his waist curved inwards almost too much, reminiscent of the days in which he abused his body. He was healthier now and muscle had built up in the places where there once was only skin and bone. Even back then, through all the hate she found him beautiful, there was something about him that was unlike anyone she had ever met, but now she knows he is the most beautiful person both inside and out.
"You're beautiful Matty" she admits and the confession has him pulling her away from his chest, assaulting her lips in a passionate kiss. No one had ever used that word to describe him before and he found his heart jumped in his chest as he heard her say it.
His tongue moves against hers languidly, strong movements that have her eyes fluttering although already shut. Her small hands find his jaw, not wanting him to leave her mouth just yet, so he continues his ministrations, tongue curving around hers as sighs fall from one person to the other. She feels stubble under her fingertips and she smiles against his mouth, breaking them apart for a second.
He stares into her eyes, pupils blown wide matching her own. Their lips are both swollen, cheeks tinted red as they smile at each other.
His hands find the button of her jeans "may I?" He asks. "Please do" she says quietly.
He tugs them down her legs, careful not to be too aggressive with his actions. He wanted to show her how he truly felt about her, he needed to show her how grateful he was that she was here, with him. He knows she could have any guy in the world but she wanted him, he knew if he thought about that fact he's ego would inflate too much so he focuses on her.
He's quick to rid himself of his own jeans, making her chuckle before his body is resting above hers again.
He chuckles "sorry got a bit excited" he says making her giggle under him.
His mouth finds hers again in another round of passionate kissing. His hand drifts along her skin again, drifting along her now exposed thighs.
He hooks her right leg over his hip, flattening his core against hers, she sighs at this, mouth agape. It felt like every sense of hers was heightened, such a simple gesture making her see stars. He hadn't even properly touched her yet and she already felt on cloud nine.
"Matty, please touch me" she pleads, eyes finding the man above her. His features soften at her words, he doesn't say anything, simply lets his hand drift in between her thighs, meeting her underwear with the pads of his fingers.
One touch and she's moaning into his mouth, it was barely audible but he heard it. His fingers hook into her underwear pulling them down until she's revealed to him.
"So so beautiful" he murmurs, lips finding the shell of her ear.
His touch is feather light against her folds, carefully pressing up into her, making blissful sighs fall from her mouth, making sure he catches everyone with his own. She feels every ridge, every crease and indent in his fingers, the pads calloused from years of playing guitar. His fingers were rough in every sense of the word, a juxtaposition of how they were moving against her.
"So wet for me" he sighs.
He presses two fingers gently inside her, resisting the urge to press his own hips into hers at how she clenches around him. Airy gasps and moans are captured by his mouth.
"Matty" he would never tire of her saying his name. His cock pulses under the confines of his boxers, the way she's saying his name, like it's the only one she knows, it satisfies his deepest desires. He's curving his fingers up into her now, caressing the deepest parts of her, the spongy bundle of nerves being massaged with every deliberate trust.
"Matty" she sighs "I need you" she says and he groans into her.
"Don't worry I've got you, love" he says, knowing exactly what she needed because he needed the same thing. She helps him rid himself of his underwear, her hands wander in-between their bodies, grasping his hard member in her hands, he shakes his head, not needed the foreplay right now, he just needed her, desperately. He quickly finds his place back in-between her hips, leg hooking onto his hip as the tip of him threads through her cunt.
He slowly pushes all the way in, bottoming out as they sigh together. He holds himself there, deep inside her as she adjusts to the size of him, it wasn't their first time but it felt different like this, more intense. All she can do is grip him, making sure he doesn't move from her, she needs him here, close.
"My love.... Oh my love" he sighs against her ear, needing a minute to adjust as she clenches around him.
He places gentle kisses against her closed eyelids and they snap open as he draws his hips back slowly, pushing back in when the head of him reappears.
Their eyes never waver from each other, holding contact throughout. His movements are deep and meaningful, languid strokes of his hips sending his cock into places he had never reached before. His grunts are quiet, delivered into her ear so only she can hear.
His hand grips her bent knee at his hip, the angle forcing his cock into her sweet spot with every intentional thrust of his hips. Her mouth falls open against his chest, sighing into the skin, not wanting anyone to hear them. This moment was about them and them only.
Her mouth opens and then shuts, not able to speak with the amount of pleasure that was creeping its way up her spine.
He wants nothing more than to tell her he loves her but he's afraid she'll run away if he does. His pelvis is pressed against her clit with how deep he is and she's sighing into his mouth at the feeling.
She takes his hand in hers, pressing it against her abdomen " feel how deep you are Matty. No one has ever been this deep before" she groans. Her words have him almost cumming on the spot and his movements falter for a second, causing him to tip forward suddenly, sending him up and into her harshly, not the pace he wanted at the given moment. She gasps at the feeling regardless of whether he meant to or not.
"Keep saying stuff like that and I'll be done for" he says making her chuckle before the noise is replaced by a high pitched moan, his mouth pressing against hers to catch it.
This wasn't fucking, this was making love, their bodies telling each other everything they were too afraid to say.
A particular push forward of his hips accompanied by his fingers circling her clit has her sighing loudly, grasping his chin and forcing her lips against his. She didn't want anyone to hear this, this was a moment for just them, their own little secret.
"My beautiful darling girl" he grunts against her mouth.
"I lo-" he nearly says those words but her mouth presses firmly against his, not letting him say it just yet. He didn't need to because she already knew.
"I know" she says, nodding up at him, letting him know that she did too.
"Feel so good Matty" she sighs, his hips pulling out and pushing back in, her core convulsing around him, clenching against his girth as euphoria washed over her features. She was truly on cloud nine with him, everything else seeming to disappear.
"Fuck" he says, hips snapping forward a bit faster as he drew closer to his end.
Tears spring at her eyes as his hips pull back, snapping back in, the tip of him massaging her spot. Her eyes are closing as a tear falls, he’s kissing it away and her eyes open then. She had never felt Iike this before, not once had someone been able to make her feel this good. She was being loved the way she deserved.
"Matty" she sighs, back arching off the bed as her hands grip his back, pulling him closer if possible. His forehead rests against hers as he looks down at where they meet.
"Look how well you're taking me love. Fucking made for me" he says, her eyes snapping to where they're joined.
"Baby" she sighs. Her mouth hangs open, and he finds her eyes again, almost boring into her soul.
Euphoria takes over features and he knows she's close.
"Let go love" he says and that's all it takes. Her back arches even more off the bed and she all but sobs as a pleasure like she has never felt washes over her entire body. Her body spasms, her right hand resting against the pillows next to her head, he leans forward, grasping her hand in his.
"I've got you love, I've got you" he says, continuing his movements through her high. His mouth hangs open as his own high dawn's on him, he had never felt like this either. He had never really made love to someone before and he thought he'd feel vulnerable but with her, all he felt was loved.
"Oh god" he moans, hips spluttering forward as he reaches his own peak. He's cumming hard, harder than he thinks he ever has, long hot spurts of his cum coating her walls.
"So good" he says as their lips meet in one last passionate kiss. He pulls out of her, landing on his back next to her, completely high on everything that was her and this moment.
He pulls her to his chest, kissing her as she still comes down from her high.
"That was amazing" she sighs, completely fucked out.
"You're amazing, thank you" he says and she smiles at him, pressing another kiss to his lips, simply not able to get enough.
"Thank you" she says. He gets up to clean them both off, checking if she needs anything before returning to her. They stare at each other for a while, stupidly happy smiles resting on their lips.
Lou eventually presses her cheek against Matty's bare chest, her fingertips trailing across the skin, down to his torso, light touches drifting along his collar bones, in between his pecs, along the centre of his abdomen, finally caressing the "we are kings" tattoo she has grown to love.
Matty was breathing lightly above her, post orgasm high still coursing through his body, his own fingertips playing with her hair, occasionally pressing kisses against the top of her head.
The scene was something they had both grown comfortable with now, they craved it all hours of the day: up on stage in front of thousands of people, just among their friends and especially when it was just the two of them.
He began humming something, something unrecognisable but unmistakably pretty.
"Sounds pretty" she says, her voice barely a whisper.
"Pretty?" He asks, moving the hair from her face so he could see her. She looks up at him from her place on his chest, nodding and smiling when his face crunches up, not liking her confession.
"Don't want our music to sound 'pretty' love" he admits.
"Well it does, so deal with it" she says, turning to get a better look at him. She places a kiss on his scrunched up nose.
She wriggles about for a bit, trying to get comfortable, he grunts above her as she stabs and pokes him as she moves.
He doesn't mind though, he'd go through hell just for her needs. She finally settles, palms flat against his chest, her legs resting in between his parted ones, her face resting against her hands and she can finally see all of his face: including his untamed curls that sit askew atop his head.
He likes this position, he can see her face too now, can see how her eyes sparkle as she looks at him and smiles. Despite the both of them being completely naked, neither felt vulnerable.
"'All I Need To Hear' is a pretty song.... So is inside your mind, this must be my dream, when we are together, about you ,Falling for you, tonight (I wish I was your boy) me and you together song " she says, listing songs of his she thought sounded pretty and he groans at that, making her laugh again.
"alright I get it love" he chuckles, cutting her off and making her laugh and she presses a kiss to his chest.
"You're a pest you know that" he says and she nods up at him, smiling widely, making him smile too. His fingertips drift along her cheek, resting against her chin and pulling gently so she raises slightly. He presses his lips against hers then, making her sigh in bliss.
"You know you just listed several songs that were written about you" he says, making her shoot up to look at him.
"You can't tell me that," she says, making him laugh. She lies back down on his chest.
"Is my whole life a lie?" She says dramatically (on purpose) making him laugh and place more kisses against her lips.
"Tell me you love me" he murmurs against her lips, she wants nothing more than to break away and talk about his words but she can't bring herself  to do so quite yet. So she allows him to keep pressing gentle kisses to her lips, getting carried away when he starts to press firmer ones, ones where his tongue peeks through his lips and presses against hers. After what had just happened she supposed it needed to be said. She feels him pull her away and her eyes open to find him.
"Tell me you love me" he repeats, his voice barely audible in the large hotel room. She thinks she knows him quite well now, and she thinks she knows why he's asking her.
"Can't seem to bring yourself to say it first?" She asks, whispering back at him. He's scared, although he has no reason to be.
"If I tell you that..." He begins but his voice trails off. He was truly scared that if he opened his heart in that way, she would reject him, or things would go wrong, afraid he'd lose her.
"Matty" she says, and his eyes shut, not wanting to look at her. One look and he'd be spilling his heart out.
"Matty, baby look at me" she says firmly making his eyes drift open to look at her again.
"You know you're not going to lose me right? Especially after what just happened" She says and he nods hesitantly.
"Matty, I'm not going anywhere. Not now, not ever. You're stuck with me now I'm afraid" she says. He simply leans down to kiss her again. The kiss is more passionate than the last one they shared.
"I love you sweetheart" he says as he pulls away, his eyes are tearing up slightly and she smiles a soft smile at him.
"I know Matty, I know. I love you too, more than anything" she admits before pressing her lips to his again.  She goes to pull away but he lightly pulls her forward by the necklace that rests around her neck, the necklace he got her, the necklace that proves to the both of them that he's hers and she is his.
"Not ready for you to leave quite yet" he mumbles against her lips.
"Okay Matty" she smiles against his mouth.
They cuddle after that, Matty is the little spoon for a while before he's turning them, insisting on "wrapping the woman he loved" as he so blatantly put it, up in his arms.
He's repeating the three words throughout the night, some of them she heard, some of them she didn't (having fallen asleep in his arms) but that was okay. He had years of catching up to do, might as well get a head start he thought.
They were truly insatiable, waking every few hours and making love, various I love you's falling into the empty room. Each time seemed to be more intense than the last, until both of them are nearly crying into each other. They laughed with each other about how pathetic it was, but they were happy. The happiest either of them had ever been.
Part 8
Note: hope everyone liked this chapter, please let me know what you think and what you want to see... Even if it's not something directly linked to the story, could just be a Matty x Lou concept... Also help everyone is doing okay despite everything. Remember I love you

Matty woke up groaning loud. The light coming from behind the curtains hurting his eyes. He rubbed them with too much force for a simple action.
Y/n. Amelia.
His first thoughts circled around them immediately. The heavy feeling that he carried during those two weeks still there, inside his heart, trying to break him little by little.
'What were they up to? Did they miss me?'
Amelia for sure, Matty still could hear her little cries calling for him.
Did Y/n missed him? Because all he did every single minute of his day was missing her, missing having her inside his arms.
Matty rolled to his side, trying to get out of the bed. His body was heavy, he was tired in every possible sense of the word. He wanted to go home, even though the sense of responsibility and compromise with the fans was stronger.
The reflection in the mirror looked back at him. The frontman let himself lean forward, almost touching the mirror with his forehead. He stared at his own face.
Matty glanced around his pale skin, the bags under his eyes, avoiding his eyes. He couldn’t look there, not yet.
His eyes danced around his sideburns and wrinkles around his eyes. Matty didn’t worry about being older, he'd lost interested on pitying himself for it a long time ago. Even when he fully knew that, he wished and hoped to slow it down. He wanted to grow older enough to witness his little daughter grow to the beautiful grown-up he knew Amelia was going to be. He wanted more kids with Y/n, as he told her. Seeing her belly grow with his baby again, feeling their kid kicking full of life, and then finally meeting them. Matty prayed to a God he didn’t believe to give him time.
When his eyes and its reflection encountered through the mirror, Matty’s eyes watered.
A knock on his door startled him. Matty shook his face, getting rid of his thoughts crossing his mind for a minute. He went to open the door, only wearing his black boxers. Matty hid his almost naked form with it, finding Mark at the other side.
“Morning.” he greeted him.
“Hi, Mark.”
“You weren’t answering your phone, we’re leaving in an hour, okay?” Matty fixed his sight on the floor, avoiding Mark’s scrutiny.
“Sorry.” he mumbled. “Okay.”
“You alright?”
Matty was so exhausted to hear the question for the hundred time in only 24 hours. He knew they meant good, but it was driving him insane.
“Yeah, yeah.” Matty reassured him. “‘m just tired and ready to go home.”
“Same, mate. Same.” Mark gifted him half a smile.
“‘kay, going to get ready.” Matty signalled with his hand pointing behind him.
Mark left without one more word. Matty thanked him in silence for it.
His phone. He forgot the thing on purpose, the urge to call home every single minute was strong. When you added the bad phone calls they had been on, Matty grew even more frustrated. Amelia made her best to communicate how against she was for Matty going away for so long. The little girl wanted to talk with him, but something inside her kept her crying and whining the whole time. It broke Y/n and Matty’s hearts. Amelia’s father didn’t want to inflict more suffering.
Matty checked if Y/n texted him. Nothing. His stomach flopped. He tried to reason with himself about all the work Y/n had while taking care of Amelia to be texting him none stop.
The singer stared at the screen. Last message was his, a ‘good night. I love you’ after a picture of a very fast asleep Amelia inside her crib. Y/n replied with a heart and nothing more.
He was sure she loved him, it couldn’t be another way. Matty felt it, he was sure. Even though the anxiety infecting his mind. What if she was talking with some boy already? Couldn’t be, but what if…
Matty locked his phone.
He opened his suitcase laying on the floor closer to the bed. Never was the type of person to hang his clothes in the closet of the room. It was a waste of time when he only stayed in each for maximum two days.
Matty rummaged inside the mass of clothes. Finding a simple t-shirt and a pair of light jeans. The idea of dressing like ‘trumanblack’ that day only wore him out. Taking the jeans out, the blue hoodie –Y/n liked to steal – stared back at him. Matty instantly grabbed it, lifting his eyes towards his phone at the other side of the room charging.
No sounds.
He sighed, putting the hoodie on. No matter how many times he had worn it, the thing smelled like home, like her. Matty tried to retain his tears.
Ping!
Matty never ran faster in his life, feeling pathetic for it. George was hurrying him in the group chat. He sent him a selfie with a characteristic sign with only one finger up.
Another notification appeared at the top of the screen.
Y/n: Morning!
Y/n: Good luck today, we miss you 🥺😘
Matty stayed frozen in his place. He didn’t know how he was going to survive until the next day to see them.
Matty: Hi, baby x
Matty: I miss you like crazy.
He tapped his foot on the floor, staring at the ‘typing’.
Y/n: One more and you’re coming home, Matty.
Matty smiled.
Matty: this is pure torture.
Y/n: you can do it!
Matty: not so sure 😶
Y/n: enjoy your time with the boys and the fans, okay?
Matty: I’ll try. Gotta go, I love you x
Y/n: 😘💕
‘She loves me, she loves me’, Matty repeated for himself, leaving the device inside his pocket. He reached for his essentials items and walked towards the door.
He wished the day to end already, and to be back home with his girls.

screwed up and brilliant - matty healy
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(mdni) in which your whirlwind summer takes a turn you never could have predicted. part two of white and gold. 16185 words.
warnings (here we go): daddy kink (obvs), phone sex, authority kink, roleplay, dom/sub dynamics, mean dom!matty, spanking, semi-public sex, gagging, oral (f receiving), mentions of anal, vague allusions to parental fuckery
The singular thought circling through your head the entire way home is what the fuck. If it weren’t for the soreness in your muscles, the bruises on your thighs and your embarrassing lack of underwear, you’d believe you dreamt the whole thing. You stop the taxi a little ways down your street, trying not to draw attention to yourself returning from your unbelievable night. It’s not like your parents would know exactly where you’ve been, but you’d rather save yourself the embarrassment of getting caught coming home from a hookup.
It turns out you didn’t need to worry, though, your footsteps echoing through an empty house as you let yourself in the back. Checking your phone for the first time since you left the dinner with Matty, critically low battery and a text from your mother flash up at you. We’ve gone out for lunch at the Dove. Love you x, the text informs you, a sense of guilty relief washing over you. There’s few things you love more than your house being empty; your shoulders loose without your mother’s nervous, slightly oppressive energy and your father’s meaningful and disappointed glances. Your steps are light as you waltz up the stairs to your room, flinging open your wardrobe to start getting ready before you realise you don’t know what you should be dressing for.
You tip out your clutch onto the bed, business cards, lipgloss and a forgotten pair of earrings spilling on your sheets as you dig for Matty’s number. Tapping the keyboard idly, you try to think of a good opening message, inspiration striking as you catch sight of a discarded bra on your bedroom floor. You slip into a favourite set, black with gold detailing and leaving very little to the imagination, and pose in your bedroom mirror, texting the photo to Matty.
hi x
trying to get ready but i don’t know what to wear :( where are we going?
Fucking hell
Hi, pretty girl
You could wear that and I’d be a very happy man
yeah i bet you would
answer the question perv
I don’t want to spoil the surprise
if you don’t tell me im changing
Fine
Brat
It’s nice but relaxed
Youre not dressing for dinner its not that hard
rude
pick me up in an hour ;)
You turn back to your wardrobe with a groan — what the fuck does he mean by nice but relaxed? A skirt and a nice top? Heels or no heels? What are you supposed to do with your hair? Leafing through your clothes, you find a green sundress tucked away near the back, a vintage treasure you’d picked up at a market a few years ago and promptly forgotten about. By some stroke of luck, it fits perfectly, the skirt swirling gorgeously around your calves. Your reflection grins back at you as you dust on some makeup, finding a dangling pair of jade earrings to match.
Exactly on cue, your phone rings, flashing up Matty’s contact. “Hi, love. I’m outside — well, as close as I dare, anyway. I’m on a double yellow, actually. Risking my spotless driving record for you.”
You snort. “They’ve gone out, park in the drive. I’ll come to the door.” You pad down the stairs as Matty’s tyres crunch on the gravel outside. Smoothing down your hair nervously, you take a deep breath, the blurry outline of him visible through the stained glass of your front door. You swing the door open as Matty raises his fist to knock, giggling slightly at the way he stands, his hand hovering meaninglessly in midair.
His eyes blow wide as he takes you in, crowding you close in a split-second. “Hi, princess,” he grins, electricity tingling under your skin where he holds you by the waist, his body pressed against yours. “If nobody’s home, I can do this,” he breathes, catching your lips and kissing you deeply, licking into your mouth like a starving man.
After a long moment, you find the strength to push him away. “Matty, the neighbours!” you protest.
“Fine,” Matty says, walking you inside and kicking the door shut behind him. He pulls you back to him, catching your lips in a filthy kiss, a slide of lips and tongue, sticky with desire. Groaning into your mouth, his lips fall to your neck, pressing kisses over the concealed bruises on your neck. You can tell he wants to cover them, mark you up as his own, and you giggle as you push his head back.
“Do we have to go to lunch?” you tease. “They’re not gonna be back for hours.”
Matty pinches your ass through your skirt. “Needy girl. You’ll love the place, I promise.” Slowly, like it pains him, he lets go of you and steps back, eyes widening as he properly takes in the sight of you for the first time. “God, you look gorgeous, princess. You look like summer.” You flush, shifting on your feet and glancing at the floor. “Can’t believe I get to have you. You know everyone who sees you is gonna be fuckin’ jealous of me, gonna want my pretty girl for themselves?” He looks livid at the mere prospect, a muscle jumping in his jaw.
You giggle. “But I’ll be there with you. Why would I want anyone else?” you assure him, stretching up to kiss at the corners of his mouth until he cracks a smile. Your chest aches a little at the sight, a private moment of happiness stretching between you. You can almost see the path along with it, a brief flicker of a life with him dancing in your imagination before you swat it away.
Fuck, you’re in too deep. You’re hurtling towards a vast expanse of something, and you don’t even have the strength to look away. You can only hope the breakneck pace isn’t going to break your heart, too.
“That’s right,” Matty says, after what feels like an eternity. “All mine, yeah? Shall we?”
You nod, not yet trusting yourself to speak, and take his hand, sliding into the passenger seat of his car. The smell of clean leather envelops you, mixed with Matty’s now-familiar cigarettes and cologne smell. Matty’s hand lands on your thigh and traces absent circles as he reverses out of the drive. The streets roll by, rows of houses all merging together, your eyes glazing over while you avoid Matty’s gaze. “So pretty, baby,” he murmurs. “My pretty little passenger princess.”
“Does that mean you’ll drive me anywhere I want?” you tease, finally bringing your gaze back to Matty. The afternoon light casts him in a soft glow, his curls ruffling in the gentle breeze. He taps his fingers absently on the wheel, a sick thrill running through you as you remember feeling them on your skin, thighs clenching needily under his touch. You slide a hand between his legs, smirking at the hiss he lets out when you palm gently over his cock. “Promise I’ll make it worth your while,” you add teasingly, plying him with wide, innocent eyes.
Matty chuckles darkly and returns his other hand to the wheel, your skin impossibly cold in the absence his touch leaves behind. “You gonna get me off right here? In the car with the windows down? Such a naughty girl.” He inclines his head as if to say go on, calling your bluff, and you lower your gaze and return your hand to your lap, subdued. “That’s what I thought. Don’t make promises you can’t keep, princess.”
You shrug. “Wouldn’t want to taint your spotless driving record,” you tease, and he tips back his head and laughs, the sound filling the car and wrapping around you, your head going fuzzy with affection. A few minutes later, Matty puts the car in park, leaning over the centre console to kiss you. His hand comes up to cup your jaw, thumbing lightly over your cheek and smiling against your lips. Ever the gentleman, he comes to the passenger side to let you out, and you take his arm and let him lead you inside.
“Afternoon,” Matty greets the maître d’ with a polite smile. “Healy for two, one thirty?”
“Ah, yes, right this way, sir,” he says, his eyes flickering curiously over you as he leads you through the restaurant.
His gaze lands judgmentally on Matty when he tugs you into him by the waist, and you bristle, deliberately planting a kiss on his cheek as you walk. “Would you like to sit inside or outside?” the maître d’ asks in a tone that suggests he’d rather be anywhere else.
“Can we sit outside, please? It’s such a nice day,” you say, and Matty grins indulgently down at you. He inclines his head at the maître d’, who leads you into the restaurant’s courtyard. Your jaw drops at the oasis you’ve suddenly found yourself in, lush green dotted through with glass tables, quiet chatter undercut with the splash of a dancing water fountain.
“This place is gorgeous,” you say as Matty pulls out your chair for you. “Do you come here a lot?”
He sees right through you, smirking over his menu. “I’ve never brought a girl here,” he tells you, answering the question you’re really asking.
“You keep saying that,” you say thoughtfully. “No bullshitting this time, what makes me so special?”
Matty meets your eyes, holding your gaze deadly serious. “I don’t date a lot, princess,” he tells you. “The girls that I… spend time with…” Your jaw clenches. “They’re not… Well, I need to feel a connection, you know? And I hadn’t felt it in a long time. I was kind of starting to give up hope,” he huffs a quiet laugh, a soft smile crossing his face when he speaks. “And then I met you, and I could just feel it.” He’s gazing adoringly at you, and you suddenly wonder if maybe it’s okay that you’re in too deep, because maybe, just maybe, he’s right there with you.
“Matty, I—”
“Good afternoon!” a bright, falsely cheery voice cuts in. “Are you both ready for drinks?”
Annoyed at the interruption, you purse your lips and address Matty. “I don’t know… What do you think I should get?” you grin, deliberately playing up the affection, leaning towards him and batting your lashes.
“I don’t know, darling. Are you feeling like wine?”
“I can come back,” the waitress says, all pretence at cheer abandoned as she taps her pencil against her notepad impatiently.
Rolling your eyes, you wave a hand at her. “No, stay. Just give me a minute to decide, ‘kay?” You scan the menu and deliberately order the most expensive rosé with a smirk in Matty’s direction. He shrugs, ordering himself a Malbec, and the waitress finally buzzes off.
It feels inappropriate to return to your conversation after the interruption, and you chuckle awkwardly. The breeze ripples in the silence between you, pulling clouds away from the sun so it shines directly into your eyes. Wincing, you shield your face, squinting in a way you’re sure is horrendously unattractive. Matty laughs softly. “Here you go, darling,” he says, pulling his sunglasses off his head and gently resting them on your face. “God, and here I thought you couldn’t get any prettier,” he adds, and you flush, picking at imaginary lint on your dress to avoid his gaze.
“Flatterer,” you scoff, kicking softly at his shin. “Thank you,” you add, nervously tucking a strand of hair behind your ear.
“S’nothing, princess. Keep ‘em, if you want.” Matty shrugs as if they’re inconsequential, and not a two hundred pound accessory. “Smoke?” he offers as you’re still reeling.
You nod, tilting your head quizzically. “Thought you didn’t want me ruining my lungs?” you tease, slipping the cigarette between your lips.
Matty chuckles. “It’s a beautiful day, you’re getting fresh air, your pretty lungs will survive one,” he teases, flicking his lighter under your cigarette as you take a deep drag.
His gaze lingers meaningfully on you as the smoke curls from your mouth and you squirm. “What?” you ask, desire evident in his eyes; he just keeps fucking staring.
He blinks, shaking his head as if to clear it. “Sorry,” he murmurs. “God, you look fucking hot,” he adds with a chuckle. Just as you go to reply, the waitress returns with your drinks. You give a cursory thanks and take a long sip, full flavour swirling in your mouth. “You know, I wouldn’t have put you down as a dry wine kind of girl,” Matty remarks. “Sweet little thing like you.”
You flush the colour of your wine, but meet his gaze in challenge. “You don’t know everything about me.”
“I’d like to,” he says immediately, and you swallow thickly, his ability to disarm you frustratingly constant. He’s so fucking perfect, it’s actually disgusting. As you’re searching for a response, he perks up, tilting his head to tune into the song playing quietly over some unseen speaker. “Oh, man, I haven’t heard this song in forever,” he gasps, a boyish grin spreading across his face. “I was obsessed with this one when I was younger. Used to be on my band’s setlist and everything.”
Your jaw drops. “You were in a band?” you demand. “Were you any good?”
Matty chuckles. “I’d like to think so. S’a shame it didn’t pan out, really. I would’ve made a great rockstar, don’t you think?” he smirks, visions of Matty clad in a leather jacket, sweaty and gorgeous, crooning into a microphone swimming across your vision.
“Fuck, yeah. I’d have hated fighting your hordes of fangirls for your attention, though,” you sigh, and his grin widens as you stroke his ego. “Were you the guitarist?” you ask, memories of his calloused hands ghosting over your skin.
He scoffs, insulted. “I was the frontman, obviously.”
“Obviously,” you repeat, teasingly blowing smoke in his face as you stub out your cigarette. “But you still play?”
“Yeah,” Matty says, smiling wistfully, the expression taking years off him so clearly that you can almost see the ambitious, idealistic boy he must have been. You hope there’s a world where the band worked out for him, even if it means you’d never have met. “S’just a hobby, though,” he shrugs, interrupting your reverie. “You should hear my mate Hann, he’s fucking wicked.”
Taking a sip of your wine, you sigh meaningfully. “I’ve always wanted to learn how to play the guitar.” You lean purposefully on the words, and Matty grins.
“You want me to teach you?”
You smile blithely. “Oh, please. I can sight read sheet music and everything, I’d be such a good student, Professor,” you add, smirking as he stiffens slightly.
“Oh, behave,” he scolds lightly, tugging at his
collar as if he’s sweating at your words.
“Make me,” you giggle, meeting his eyes in challenge.
“You know I will, princess,” he says seriously, your skin prickling hot as he watches you, daring you to break first. You’re saved from having to, though, by the same waitress coming to take your order. Not even having picked up the food menu, you let Matty order for you, trusting his taste.
As it turns out, his taste is impeccable, down to the steak being cooked exactly the way you like. “God, this is fucking delicious,” you exclaim, digging in eagerly. “This place is amazing,” you add, unable to keep the beaming smile off your face. You chat back and forth for a couple of hours, asking about his family and his childhood, cooing at the stories he tells. If anyone were listening, they’d probably be nauseated by your obscene flirting, getting bolder as Matty continues plying you with wine even as he switches to water.
The same waitress returns, the false cheer bright in her tone as she offers you dessert menus. “No, thanks,” you say without taking your eyes off Matty. “We have dessert at home.” You flash your teeth in a grin so there can be no mistaking your meaning.
Matty picks up the bill, and you don’t even pretend to protest. It’s been years since you’ve been on a date you didn’t have to pay for, guys your age from your circles unusually stingy, and you feel guilty expecting broke college boys to pay for you. And it’s only feminist to split the bill with another girl, anyway. “Dessert, yeah?” he smirks as you slide into the passenger seat, and you squirm.
“I promise I’m just as sweet,” you tease. “Take me to yours and I’ll show you exactly how sweet I can be.”
Matty clicks his tongue. “I don’t think so,” he says, and your stomach sinks. “Good girl like you shouldn’t put out on the first date, or didn’t your daddy teach you any better?” he says, a shit-eating grin plastered across his face.
God, he’s a fucking tease. “You didn’t teach me anything like that, Daddy,” you pout. “You can’t get me all needy looking this hot and not let me have you. S’not fair.” You fold your arms, sulking.
“Oh, angel,” he tuts. “Not figured it out, yet? I don’t have to be fair.” And with that, your fate is sealed, Matty dropping you home and leaning over for a chaste kiss that he resists your attempts to deepen. “I’ll see you soon, princess. You know where to find me,” he promises, your eyes not leaving him until his car turns the corner and disappears from view.
You slope inside, disappointed and unsatisfied, plagued with the thought of where you could be right now if Matty had taken you home with him. Your father’s car is in the drive, and you groan to yourself, utterly uninterested in explaining yourself. Of course, you’re expected to anyways. “Where have you been?” your mother demands, and you fold your arms. If she’d asked out of curiosity, genuine interest, it would be different, but she only wants to know so she can approve or disapprove, sneering consternation written across her face.
“Out,” you say shortly, thick tension pulling taut between you.
“With who?” she asks, lips pursed.
“A friend,” you snap. “God, Mum, I went out for lunch, what’s it to you? I’m a grown-ass woman, I shouldn’t have to ask my mummy for permission to leave the house!”
“Language!” she exclaims, and you roll your eyes and push past her, storming up the stairs and slamming the door, finally breathing easy when the lock on your door forms a decisive barrier between you and your parents. Left alone, it doesn’t take long for your thoughts to drift back to Matty and the ache he left between your thighs. You wonder if he’s home yet, if he’ll want to hear your voice, or if it’s too soon.
You war with yourself for a few minutes, but your desire wins out, calling Matty up and laying back against your pillows. “Hello, darling.” He picks up on the second ring. “Missing me already?”
“Mhm,” you murmur, the mere sound of his voice sending a pulse of desire thrumming through you. “Thinkin’ about you. About how you got me all needy.”
He laughs darkly. “God, what am I going to do with you? Naughty girl can’t even keep her hands to herself for an hour. Are you getting wet for me, angel?”
“Yes,” you moan happily, thrilled to get what you want. “I need you.”
“You beg so pretty, baby,” he coos, grunting softly, and you can just picture him, cock half-hard in his palm as you hear the rustle of clothes dropping to the floor. “C’mon, tell Daddy what you want.”
You whimper, dipping your hand under your waistband, slick pooling against your fingertips. “Wish you were touching me,” you moan. “Could’ve brought me home with you. Could’ve bent me over anywhere you wanted, stuffed me full and fucking used me.”
“Such a slut,” Matty murmurs, faint, slick sounds echoing from the other end of the call as he grunts rhythmically. The image of him makes you dizzy, fisting his cock messily, hips thrusting into his hand. You moan quietly, rubbing slow, tight circles into your clit. “Are you touching yourself?” You murmur an affirmative. “Stop.” Your blood runs cold, like you’ve been doused in ice water.
“Wh- What?” you hiss, disbelieving.
“You heard me, darling. I told you, good girls don’t put out on the first date. Daddy’s teachin’ you manners, yeah?”
“That’s not fair, Daddy,” you whine again. “Don’t need you to tell me when I can get off. Managed just fine before you came along,” you add petulantly.
Matty just laughs. “Okay, baby. I’m sure you did. You could hang up this call right now, get yourself off all on your own. But you won’t,” he says, smugly confident. “You know why? Because Daddy knows what’s best for brats like you. And, really, you just wanna be my good, sweet, dumb little girl, don’t you, angel?”
Thick, choking lust envelops you, crushing the air from your lungs as you find yourself whimpering, “Yes, Daddy. Won’t touch anymore,” you say, your mouth moving without your brain’s say-so.
Your body hums with energy, tense with the knowledge you won’t be allowed to release it. “Good girl,” Matty croons, your chest warming at the praise. “Still gotta punish you for bein’ a brat, though,” he adds, through a soft moan. “Don’t want you touchin’ that pretty cunt without my permission, ‘kay?” Your stomach sinks, arousal flaring impossibly in your gut.
“Okay, Daddy. I’ll be good,” you promise, his appreciative moan sending heat spiralling between your legs. You stay on the call until the sound of Matty spilling into his fist fills your ears, leaving you sticky and fucking throbbing with need. It takes you what feels like forever to get your breathing under control enough that your legs will stop shaking to carry you to the shower. You gasp as you plunge into the freezing cold spray, barely enough to quench the fire rolling through your veins. Unable to resist, you text Matty a picture of yourself when you step out, the steam on the mirror teasingly blurring your wet, naked body.
And that is the last time you hear Matty’s voice for an entire fucking week. There always seems to be some obstacle, a friend’s birthday, or a dinner you’re not invited to, or both of you are up to your eyeballs in pointless, mind-numbing work. You’d almost think he was avoiding you, if not for your constant back-and-forth over text and Matty’s incessant pleas for you to visit him at the office. You resist for a while, terrified of being caught and what that would mean for this… thing… that’s blooming between you, still fragile and new.
But it’s driving you fucking crazy, and you miss him, so after a week, you find an excuse; because you’re a good, dutiful daughter, you’re bringing your father lunch to share after he cancelled your meal out yesterday. You zone out after the same five minutes of talking in circles, giving automatic, robotic responses you know he wants to hear. It would be a lie to say you didn’t breathe a sigh of relief when the lift doors ding shut, carrying you up to Matty’s office. You haven’t told him you’re coming, hoping your presence will be a welcome surprise. What you hadn’t counted on, though, was his bleach-blonde secretary, idly tapping on her keyboard and actively standing in your way.
Your heart sinks. She’s pretty, unbelievably so, and barely older than you. If Matty hasn’t already had her, which you doubt, it’s crossed his mind. What if that’s what he’s been doing, all those times he’s complained about leaving the office late? A vision of her spread out on his desk fills your mind, Matty crooning his sweet, filthy words into her ear as her chest heaves. Her boobs are fake, you decide, your gaze flickering to them. It’s not humanly possible for a pair of tits to be that big and perky at the same time. Pushing down the jealousy roiling in your gut, you step up to her desk. Her eyes sweep over you, unimpressed, and she purses her lips.
You push your shoulders back, letting the snotty, spoiled brat who’s never been told no free, a snide grin spreading across your features. It feels fucking good to exercise that facet of your personality again, having tamped down on it since you went to uni — makes it easier to play well with others. Impatiently, you click your fingers in front of the woman’s face. “I’m here to see Mr. Healy,” you say with a saccharine smile. Sure, you could just call him and tell him you’re outside, but this is so much more fun. Especially now that you get to mess with her head, too. Matty’s never fucked her, but she wants him to, you can tell by the way her face falls when she sees you. Good, you think vindictively. Maybe blondes don’t have more fun. Not with him, at least.
“Do you have an appointment?” she asks, voice nasally and grating.
You sigh, like she’s asking you a ridiculous question. “No, but he’ll want to see me, trust me. Tell him… Tell him Angel is here, yeah?” She looks at you, sceptical and detached. “My parents were hippies, what can you do?” you shrug, raising your eyebrows and flicking your fingers patronisingly at her, as if to say go on. Your gazes lock in a battle of wills for a brief moment, but you grin victoriously when she picks up her phone.
“Hello, sir. There’s a girl out here asking to see you.” The way she says girl feels like a slur dripping from her overglossed lips. “Says her name’s Angel? She doesn’t have an appointment, I can send her away, if you like. Won’t be a problem.”
“No, no, send her in. And, for future reference, she’s welcome anytime, okay? No appointment necessary. Actually, I’ll come get her.” Matty’s voice is faint from the other end of the phone, but distinct enough that you can hear his words and the click as he sets the phone down. Seconds later, he emerges from his office, breaking into a wide grin at the sight of you. “Hello, angel,” he grins, kissing your cheek politely but lingering a little longer than appropriate. “Feels like it’s been forever. Come on in, yeah?” He takes you by the waist and leads you to his office, and you throw a smirk over your shoulder at the secretary as you go, a clear message: I win, you lose. “Oh, and Ruby? Nobody in my office for the next hour, alright?” She flushes as red as her name suggests, glaring at you furiously, trying to tell you this isn’t over. You ignore her, though, because you and Matty are finally alone.
“Only an hour?” you giggle. “You’re losing your touch, sir.”
“Oh, sir, hm? That’s new,” he teases as you perch on his desk, drinking in the sight of him with something dangerously close to relief.
You lean forward. “She wants you. So fucking badly,” you remark.
“I know,” he shrugs, loosening his tie with one hand and stroking your bare thigh with the other.
This time, you let the jealousy bubble up to the surface. “Have you ever fucked her?” You know the answer, but you want to hear him say it.
Matty laughs. “Have you ever heard the expression, don’t shit where you eat?” he asks, and you wrinkle your nose and nod. “Well, that goes double for the young, hot blonde the company dangles in front of you like fucking bait, just waiting for you to cross a line.”
You’re starting to see red, his words nothing close to what you wanted to hear. “But you would. If she didn’t work for you.”
He shrugs. “Maybe.” He grips your hips, sliding you closer to him, dislodging stacks of paper and pens from his desk. “If I didn’t have you.” Then, his fingers creep higher, tantalisingly close to where you want them, and you push down the argument you were about to start. Giving up the best sex you’ve ever had isn’t worth it just because you got a little too possessive over someone who isn’t actually yours.
“She’d never be as good as me,” you say bitterly. “I don’t think a man like you would let a little red tape stop you if you actually wanted her. What’s wrong with her, really?”
Matty smirks. “Jealous girl,” he says smugly. “Don’t wanna talk about her when I could have this,” he adds, rubbing slow, teasing circles into your thigh. You whine softly, arching forward into his touch. “You’d be better than her, yeah? You wanna prove it?” You tilt your head quizzically. “Let’s say you’re my secretary, yeah, baby?”
A thrill runs up your spine. “Yes, sir,” you breathe. You slide off the desk to prop yourself in the chair opposite his, unbuttoning your blouse a little and leaning back with a smirk. “You wanted to see me, sir?” you say, playing up your wide, innocent eyes.
“Yes,” Matty says thoughtfully. “I think we need to discuss your behaviour in my office.” You bite your lip to clamp down on your grin, nodding seriously. “Always in those short little skirts, bendin’ over so you can show off those pretty, lace panties. You wear those for me, don’t you, baby?”
You smirk, popping the buttons of your blouse past decency. “You’re wrong, sir.” You spread your legs wide, and he chokes on his inhale. “I’m not wearing any panties.”
Matty groans, sweeping his desk clear, pens and paper scattering across the floor. “Bend over,” he orders sharply. “Now.”
You stand to obey, then pause. “Wait one second,” you say, darting around the desk so you’re face-to-face. “Just realised I haven’t done this yet.” You sling your arms around his neck and press your lips against his, kissing him hungrily and melting at his touch. Desperately, you try not to dissect the relief flooding your body from the point where his hands meet your skin. “Okay,” you say as you pull back, breathless. “M’ready now.”
Bracing your elbows on the desk, you bend over, baring your dripping cunt as Matty shoves your skirt up your thighs. “Spread your legs for me.” You obey, but he just growls and kicks them further apart, a shocked sound pulling free from your throat. “Wider,” he orders. “Not doin’ such a good job of convincing me you’d be so much better than her, you know,” he says, tone almost conversational if his nails weren’t digging into your hips so hard they’ll bruise.
Angry, red-hot jealousy floods your veins, tangling cruelly with the ball of anticipation winding tight in your core. You can’t decide whether to go lax, let Matty have his good girl, or to fight against him for comparing you to her. It doesn’t take long for the brat to win out. “You want her so bad? Call her in, then,”
You can practically hear Matty’s eyebrows raise, the realisation you won’t let him have this so easily setting in. “You want me to, baby?” He clicks his tongue. “I don’t think so. I think you’re jealous of the pretty girl who sits outside my office all day.” He reaches around to pop another button of your blouse. “And you’re scared of what I might be doing with her when you can’t see.” He pulls your shirt out of the waistband of your skirt and tugs it off your shoulders. “So you want her to know exactly what we’re doing in here, so you can lay some kind of claim on me. Am I right?” Your mind spins as you try to think of a smartass response, thoughts jolted free from your head when Matty spanks you harshly. The crack of skin on skin might have been loud enough to be heard from outside, you think with a pulse of satisfaction. “Unless the next words out of your mouth are yes, sir or yes, Daddy, I don’t want to hear it.”
“Yes, Daddy,” you moan out, your cunt throbbing needily. “You’re right. Want her to see how good you fuck me, want her to know she could never make you feel as good as I do,” you say, the admissions stumbling one after another from your lips, unbidden.
“There’s my good girl,” he coos, your stomach clenching at the sound of his belt unbuckling, his zipper falling. “Such a little brat when you’re gagging for my cock, aren’t you, princess?” You nod furiously, whining as he teases your hole with the tips of his fingers. Desperate for friction, you grind back against them, weak, helpless moans tumbling from your lips. “Beg for it.” You choke on a gasp. “Go on, angel. You want my cock so bad? Beg for it.”
You don’t even have time to pretend to have dignity before wanton pleas spill free. “Fuck, Daddy, please! Want your cock so fucking bad, always make me feel so good, s’not the same when I do it myself,” you whine, giving a shuddering gasp when he teases your clit with the tip of his cock. “Please! I’m beggin’ you, Daddy, I’ll be good, I promise.”
Matty chuckles. “Alright, baby, alright,” he murmurs soothingly, lining himself up with your soaked entrance and sliding home so fast you’re gasping. Your knees buckle as you scramble for purchase on the desk, nails scraping against the varnished wood. “Oh, princess, it’s okay, Daddy’s here now,” he soothes, your cunt pulsing desperately around him. “Look at you, bein’ all sweet for me now you’re stuffed full. Such a dumb little slut, aren’t you, baby? Bet you wish you didn’t have to think about anythin’ except my cock.”
“Mhm,” you whine, arching your back as much as you can, your tits pressing against the cool wood of the desk. “M’just your stupid little slut, Daddy, please fuck me,” you beg, grinding back against him.
Matty’s hips slam suddenly against yours, a whining scream tearing from your throat as pleasure spills over in your veins. His hand comes down to cover your mouth, your body going limp against his. “Shh, princess. I’m at work, remember?” The reminder that fucking anyone could come to his door, know exactly what he’s doing to you, sends a thrill up your spine. “Can you be quiet, hm? Or do I need to make you quiet?” Another deep thrust draws a long, low moan from your throat, and he seems to have answered his own question. The fabric of his tie covers your mouth, spit leaking out around it. “There you go, angel. Nice and quiet for me. Bang on the desk if you need me to stop, okay?”
You nod, something that might be yes, Daddy coming out garbled around the gag. Matty fucks into you brutally, your chest heaving as ecstasy burns under your skin. “Good girl,” he coos. “Good, sweet girl. Takin’ my cock so well, princess. Such a pretty toy for your Daddy.”
Matty sets a bruising pace, your tongue pushing against his tie as it holds back your pathetic little noises. Your tits press against the desk, the sharp tip of a pencil digging into your bare stomach. You barely feel it, unconscious of anything but Matty’s skin against yours. “God, you feel so fucking good, princess. Daddy’s girl, aren’t you? Why would I ever want another girl when I’ve ruined you so perfect for me? Look at you, good little girl gagged and bent over my desk like a whore.” You moan, filthy words washing over you, sliding down your throat, sticky, wet pleasure dripping out of you.
You’re dizzy with lust, dazed and drooling, ecstasy spiralling through your bones. You can’t even think, Matty fucking all coherence out of you, every thrust clouding your mind more and more. Garbled moans fall from your lips in a filthy, spit-slick string, Matty’s rhythmic grunts swirling deliciously around your head. The calloused pads of his fingers find your clit, euphoria scorching in your bloodstream at the scrape over your swollen nerves. Your legs feel like jelly, melting hot and sweet under Matty’s touch. “You’re close, aren’t you, baby? Can feel your pretty cunt squeezin’ me so tight, princess. You wanna cum for Daddy?”
A few more rough circles over your clit, one more deep, spearing thrust and you break, wailing around the gag. “Good girl,” Matty croons, fucking you through as stars shatter behind your closed lids. Liquid ecstasy melts your bones, glueing you to the desk. Matty groans your name, cock pulsing as he spills inside you, a sound that’s pure desire falling from his lips. Still inside you, he unties the gag, letting it fall onto the desk as you draw a deep breath. “How are you feeling, angel?”
“So good,” you murmur, voice scratchy from disuse, whining as he pulls out of you. “Always make me feel so good, Daddy,” you add, letting Matty flip you around and set you on the desk, his eyes falling to your glistening core. Cum drips obscenely from you, puddling sticky and wet on his desk, a filthy smirk crossing his face.
“Good girl. So pretty for me, darling.” He tucks himself away, and once his belt is buckled he’s the picture of professionalism while you sit in front of him, sex-rumpled and half-naked and panting. “First girl I’ve ever fucked in here, you know,” he adds, so offhand you’d almost miss it if it it hadn’t made your heart jump into your throat. You can’t make head or fucking tail of him, one minute taunting you with his pretty secretary, the next swearing that you’re special. “M’sorry, darling, I don’t have much in here to clean you up with,” he says with a soft laugh, wiping a tissue through your folds and crooning soothingly when you whimper.
“S’okay. Was worth it,” you say. Your limbs feel tired and heavy, your eyelids drooping as you glance at the time and realise half your allotted hour is gone.
“You tired, sweet girl?” he asks with a soft, fond chuckle.
“Yeah,” you yawn. “You wore me out. Wish we were in bed. That was the best sleep of my life,” you confess, huffing a soft laugh.
You shudder as he tucks a strand of hair behind your ear, his touch careful and tender. “Soon, princess, I promise. I’m sorry we haven’t seen each other. Missed you,” he says, and the admission melts in your chest, glueing your organs together and squeezing tightly. You sigh, the question on the tip of your tongue dissolving like a sugar pill as your resolve shatters. “How’s your week been, angel? Your friend’s birthday, right?”
You swallow a grimace. Isobel is hardly your friend, in the same way your parents aren’t friends, but you run in the same circles so proximity forced you into something resembling friendship. “Oh, the usual,” you say idly, twirling a curl that’s sprung loose from the gel in his hair around your finger. “Drinks, drugs, boys,” you tease, grinning when his jaw clenches. So he can dish it out but not take it? Interesting.
“Did you talk to any boys, princess?” he asks, eyes glittering dangerously.
Shrugging airily, you kick your legs where they dangle off the desk. “So what if I did?” you challenge. The next words wrench themselves free of your mouth, tasting bitter as they fall. “We’re only fucking, it’s not like you actually own me. If I want to fuck someone else, are you gonna stop me?”
The question hangs thick and acerbic in the air between you and Matty swallows visibly. “No,” he says after a pause. “You can fuck whoever you want, princess. Won’t be as good as me, though, and you know it,” he says, smug and acrid.
The air between you is tense, horribly charged and all wrong, and you can feel tears prickling at the back of your throat. “I should get going,” you say abruptly, getting to your feet. “I’ll see you soon,” you add, not looking back at him as you cross the room.
“Say hi to Ruby on your way out, yeah?” Matty says, something close to a sneer in his voice. As you open the door, though, you paste on a blithe smile and relax your shoulders for Ruby’s benefit.
“Hope it’s not you who has to clean up in there,” you smirk as you pass. “Made a bit of a mess,” you giggle, savouring the way Ruby’s face shifts in colour as she swallows her grimace.
And so you leave Matty’s office more confused about what he wants than when you fucking came in. Something shifts between you after that. Your words don’t change, Matty just as syrupy-sweet as ever, but the difference is palpable, sugared words souring as you digest them. He gets even more possessive while you fuck, more degrading, insisting you’re such a little slut, baby. Whoring yourself out to every fucking boy who looks at you, but you always come runnin’ back to your Daddy, yeah?
But it’s not always angry and mean. Sometimes, it’s slow and so sweet you could swear it’s loving, Matty lavishing you with praise, murmurs of that’s right, such a good girl and Daddy’s girl, so pretty for me soaking into your skin and tying themselves in knots around your brain. Some nights, especially recently, you don’t even fuck when you go to his place. Being there is a comfort, away from catty friends and overbearing parents, somewhere you can just be. Last night, you’d suddenly realised you kind of just weren’t in the mood, apologising and making to leave, and he’d just kissed your temple, pulled you in close and asked what your favourite movie was. And you started to believe. And then you’ll go out for drinks, so much as mention a boy’s name; he’ll toss a jab about some pretty young girl he works with, and you’re right back where you started, tearing each other apart at the seams.
You’re this close to ripping your fucking hair out, sick to death of bottling it all up when you finally decide you need to unload on someone. “I just don’t get him,” you complain, your best friend Thea making sympathetic noises at all the right moments. “One minute it’s all you’re my girl and my pretty baby, the next it’s such a whore, bet you’d let anyone fuck you.”
“But you’re still sleeping at his place?” Thea asks, judgement obvious in her tone.
You groan. “Yes, leave me alone! If you saw the state I’m in after, you’d understand.”
Thea clicks her tongue. “And you haven’t actually fucked anyone else?”
“No,” you admit, defeated. “Don’t know if I could, to be honest.”
“Does he know that? Has he?”
“No and I don’t know. I just don’t know where I fucking stand, and I can’t ask. He’ll think I’m some pathetic little girl who can’t handle it, I know it.”
“You know what you need? You, me, a pair of slutty little dresses, and those fancy cocktails with about twelve kinds of alcohol in them from 102. I’m not taking no for an answer, I’ll see you at ten.”
And, true enough, at eleven you’re clutching a gin bowl for dear life and screeching along to the song thumping through the club’s speakers. “I need a refill, c’mon!” you shout in Thea’s ear, dragging her off to the bar where you can hear slightly better.
Despite the queue, the bartender stops in front of you with a smile. “Love that dress. What can I get for you?” You scan the menu, brow scrunching in a frown, but your words die in your throat as the bartender steps into slightly better light and you take her in properly. She’s a fucking goddess, model-pretty with thick, dark hair and long-lashed brown eyes.
Thea swats your arm and you realise your gaze has drifted down, and you pull it back up to where she’s waiting with a smirk. “You’ve— The menu’s changed. I used to get a Sucker,” you manage to get out around the lump in your throat.
“Alright,” she says cryptically. “And you?”
Thea shrugs. “I’ll have what she’s having, I’m not picky.”
She laughs. “Oh, no. You two do not pick the same poisons. I’ve got this, okay?” Slightly entranced, you watch her work, setting something golden and glittering in front of you. “Sunshine Baby,” she says with a wink. “And for you… Antichrist.”
Thea takes her swirling, dark drink with a delighted grin. “She was into you,” she teases, nudging you with her hip.
“Oh, please, she wanted a tip.” The pair of you find a table, one with a prime view of the DJ booth so you can ogle the hot, blond DJ as he whips the crowd into a frenzied mass of sweating bodies. You keep returning to the same bartender, whose name you learn is Charli, and she keeps plying you with free shots for hot girls and increasingly strong drinks, until you find yourself stumbling onto the dancefloor and losing track of Thea.
Your head feels light, your body loose in a way it hasn’t been in weeks, the alcohol dampening your coherent thoughts. A pair of hands find your waist, and you twist your head back to meet the eyes of their owner. He couldn’t be further from Matty if he tried; your age, for one, tall, willowy and blond. The kind of man you’d usually never have looked twice at. But maybe that’s exactly what you need right now, you think, grinding your hips back against his with a grin. “Can I get your number?” he asks, pulling you free of the dancefloor, sweaty and flushed and smiling freely. After a long moment of consideration, Matty’s warning gaze flashing in your mind, you smirk and give it to him. “Let me take you out. You free Thursday?”
His overconfidence is jarring, and you swallow a frown. “I don’t know,” you tease. “Maybe. Why don’t we get back out there and you can convince me?” You obviously aren’t going to fucking go. Even as drunk as you are, you know that. Whatever this thing with Matty is, it’s serious to you, and you know the pair of you need to untangle it. But, for now, you shove it to the back of your mind, distracting yourself with free shots from a pretty boy, your head spinning wildly by the time you find Thea.
She might even be drunker than you are, stumbling and slurring as you bundle her into a taxi; she lives on the other side of town to you, so it doesn’t make sense to share. “Go, I’ll be fine,” you insist. “There’ll be another one in a minute, okay? Bye! Love you!” you shout as the car pulls away, Thea’s slightly green-tinged face hanging out of the open window. Left alone, you suddenly realise just how drunk you are, your vision blurred as you slump to the curb. When ten minutes pass without a taxi appearing, panic starts to set in; it’s too close to closing time and you’re too drunk, 102 won’t let you back in, and it’ll be the same story anywhere up and down the street. You’re alone in the dark, bile rising in your throat as you do the only thing you can think of and dial Matty.
“Hello?” he says, voice gruff with sleep. “Bit late to be calling, darling. Can’t sleep? Need some help to relax?” he adds, his smirk audible.
Your voice wavers as you speak. “M’sorry, I didn’t know who else to call,” you say, choked with the effort of holding back tears. “I can’t call my parents, I don’t have any fucking friends who’d care, there’s no taxis, I—” you cut yourself off with a hysterical gasp.
Matty shushes you soothingly. “Baby. Baby, breathe. Breathe for me, okay?” You try your best to obey, drawing deep, hiccuping breaths, shuddering harshly on the exhale. “What’s wrong, love?” You stumble your way through an explanation, babbling profuse apologies, mortification creeping up your spine. “Darling, it’s okay. Don’t be sorry. Where are you?”
“102,” you sniffle. “It’s—”
“I know the place. Sit tight, okay? I’m getting in the car now, I’ll be there soon. I’ve got you, promise.” The wave of relief that floods your body when you finally spot Matty’s car pulling to a stop in front of you is near-crippling, and you’d have collapsed when he wraps his arms around you if he wasn’t supporting your weight. “Oh, baby. Sweet girl, it’s okay. I’m here now. I’ve got you,” he repeats soothingly, only pulling away when you stop swaying on your feet. “God, you smell like the floor of a dive bar,” he teases, and you chuckle weakly. “C’mon, angel. Let’s get you in bed, yeah?”
You murmur another apology as you slide into the passenger seat, and he waves it away with a smile. “Hey, my house is the left back there,” you say, the cool night air having snapped you back to yourself a little.
“I know,” Matty says quietly. “I’m not sending you back there alone, darling. Promised I’d take care of you, didn’t I?” he says, his hand on your thigh gently calming instead of teasing.
“Thank you,” you mumble, looking down at your lap as Matty parks the car in his drive.
“Any time, angel. I’m serious. I’m glad you called. Don’t ever want you to think I won’t be here if you’re not okay.” And fuck if that sickening, chaotic mess of feelings doesn’t just bubble right back up to the surface. He leads you into the kitchen, your body curled into his to steady yourself. “I’ll get you something to eat, okay?”
You shake your head. “Mm-mm. You’re already doing too much. And I won’t keep it down, anyway,” you say, pressing a hand to your roiling stomach. “I just need to lie down.” You start to wander into the living room, and Matty grabs your wrist gently.
“You need to eat something, darling. Drink some water, sleep in a bed,” he adds insistently. You let him fuss over you, plying you with a slice of toast and a glass of water, and you tuck yourself into his chest as he carries you up to bed. Dressed in one of his well-worn shirts, his familiar scent fills your lungs, comforting as he tucks himself into bed next to you.
“Thank you,” you repeat. “Can’t say it enough. Didn’t have to do all this, Matty. I would’ve been okay.”
“Don’t want you just okay,” he answers. “Want you feeling good, and safe, and happy. Get some sleep, love, m’here.” You close your eyes obligingly, but your drunken haze lifting has set your thoughts free, spinning like a coin set on its edge that just won’t fall. Your night plays back in sickening detail behind your lids, the memory of the boy’s hands on you bringing bile up your throat. Laying in Matty’s bed without having been thoroughly exhausted first always plays with your sanity, your brain wandering to places you know it shouldn’t go as he sleeps peacefully next to you.
The sun is coming up by the time you give up on sleep, hoping Matty’s rhythmic breathing means he won’t hear you trying to sneak away. No such luck, though. “Where you goin’, sweetheart?” he asks, and you feel a stab of guilt at interrupting his sleep yet again.
“Home. I’ll get out of your hair, now. Thank you again,” you say quietly.
“Baby. Princess. Come here, come back here,” Matty says, and he looks so sweet and earnest, sleep-soft and smiling, that you obey, and you can’t help the happy little sigh that escapes you as he pulls you close.
Shame burns hot through you as you remember the previous night all over again, and you can’t stop yourself from blurting out, “A boy asked me on a date last night.”
Matty’s hand tightens on your hip. “What did you say?” he asks, voice low with warning.
You sigh, steeling yourself to look into his eyes. “What do you want me to have said? you answer, and he blinks, confusion written across his features. “What is this, Matty? Because if this is casual, if you just want a shiny young girl on your arm for a few months, it’s fine by me,” you lie, pushing down the nausea that pools at your words. “But if this is just fun, we should be allowed to see other people — are you seeing other people?” you ask, tension winding between your shoulder blades as you prepare for the answer.
“No,” Matty practically growls. “And I’m not fucking anyone else, either, before you ask. I haven’t in weeks.” He huffs a laugh. “I tried, the day I met you, tried to get you out of my head ‘cause I didn’t think I’d get to have you.” His thumb rubs gentle circles into your hip, his touch comforting as his words soak in, a soothing balm to your nerves. “Didn’t fucking work. Couldn’t stop picturing you instead,” he confesses. “You’re in my head, princess. M’sorry I let my little strop go on so long. Thinkin’ about some other man touching you was driving me crazy. I was bein’ selfish. If you want to see other people, I—”
“I don’t,” you interrupt. “Only want you.”
He breaks out in a wide grin. “Pictured this being a bit more romantic, but,” Matty pinches your hip gently, and you giggle, pressing a soft kiss against his lips. “You’re my girl, yeah? Properly mine.”
“Yeah,” you say, practically glowing as you smile back at him. “As long as you’re mine.”
He threads a hand into your hair, kisses you like breathing is a choice, licking eagerly into your mouth as you melt against him. “What are you gonna say if another boy asks you on a date, princess?”
“I have a boyfriend,” you beam, just using the word making your heart warm. The tangled knot that’s sat in your belly for weeks now blissfully untied, your body feels loose and happy and willing. “I’m gonna have a shower, okay, then I’ve gotta thank you properly, yeah?”
A filthy smirk pulls at Matty’s lips. “I like the sound of that.” You giggle, pressing a kiss to his nose before climbing off him.
“You would,” you tease, padding into the bathroom and running the shower. You luxuriate under the water for several long, glorious minutes, the water pressure melting the last lingering tension between your shoulders. The smell of the club lingers in your hair until you scrub it with Matty’s expensive shampoo, the smell familiar as you work your fingers over your scalp, lingering like you’ll be able to absorb him through your skin. You towel your hair mostly dry, despite your insistence that Matty was committing a cardinal sin by doing the same, and wander back into the bedroom still naked and dripping wet.
Matty chokes on a gasp. “Fuck. Hi, gorgeous.” The praise heats your cheeks and you kneel at the foot of his bed, clasping your hands behind your back.
“Hi, Daddy,” you say sweetly. “I said I’d thank you properly. Gonna show you what a good girl I can be. Best girl you’ll ever have.” Matty smirks, sitting up to give himself a better view. “Can do whatever you want with me. All day long.” He smirks, dirty and sleazy and delicious, and pats the sheets next to him.
“C’mere, princess. Up you get.” You scramble to obey, sighing happily when he tangles his legs with yours and kisses you slow and deep. His hardness presses against your thigh as you make out, his hands wandering to your ass and squeezing. “God, so perfect, darling,” he praises. “Can’t believe you’re all mine.”
“Yours,” you whimper into his mouth, almost deliriously happy. His kiss is almost ferocious, hungry and devouring, desire coiling under your skin. “Daddy, please. Want you so bad,” you murmur.
Matty laughs. “Patience, angel. Thought you were gonna be good?” he says, but it’s light and teasing, without any of the underlying meanness that might have laced his tone a week ago. You relax, tension unspooling in your belly as you put your trust in him. His hands skim over your body, somehow both gentle and working you into a frenzy. A litany of pathetic little whimpers fall from your lips as you squirm under his hands, Matty smirking into the kiss. “Sweet, needy baby,” he croons. “Missed havin’ you all sweet for me. M’sorry I was so mean, princess. Gonna make it up to you, I swear.” His fingers finally find your clit, heat welling between your thighs. It takes a Herculean effort to stay still, not react beyond your involuntary gasp, but the proud little smile on Matty’s face is worth it. “Good girl. Tell Daddy what you want, angel.”
You nod, swallowed in hazy pleasure as he rubs slow circles over your clit. “Want you to fuck me,” you choke out, your throat closing in overwhelming arousal.
Matty rolls on top of you, connecting your lips in a messy kiss. “Of course, baby. You okay like this? Wanna watch your pretty face while I fuck you.”
“Please,” you breathe. Matty doesn’t tease, just rubs gentle circles over your clit as he enters you, moaning softly into your mouth. Your hips roll, desire pooling under your skin as he fucks you slow and deep.
“God, missed havin’ you like this,” he breathes, his head falling into your shoulder. “Oh, darling, I know, I know. Daddy’s here, I’ve got you, okay?” he murmurs as you whimper softly, languid, bone-deep pleasure rolling over you. Matty’s eyes are liquid with affection, his lips curving into an unconscious smile.
His lips find yours again, your tongues sliding together as punched-out gasps fall from your lips in time with his smooth, measured thrusts. It’s immeasurably intense, Matty playing your body like a symphony, and you’re powerless to do anything but whine and writhe. “Thank you s’much, Daddy. Feels so fucking good,” you whimper, locking your legs around his waist. The change in angle is glorious, ecstasy winding through your bloodstream as Matty rubs circles into your clit.
“Good girl,” Matty murmurs, “Such a good girl for Daddy. My girl, my fucking girl. Wish I could keep you all sweet and cockdrunk for me all the fuckin’ time. Fuckin’ wish I could have you as my little kept girl, have this pussy at home waitin’ for me every fuckin’ night,” he groans, the familiar fantasy spiralling through your mind. He murmurs soft, sugary words into your ear, liquid desire melting your brain until you’re sure it must be dripping from your ears, soaking the sheets under your hair. “So, so pretty, darling. Look so gorgeous while I’m fucking you, god.”
You glow at the praise, heat thrumming under your skin as his hips meet yours over and over. You’re practically delirious, lost in thick, syrupy pleasure, the lewd sound of skin meeting filling the room. “Mmh, oh, my God, fuck—” you gasp, pleasure coiling tight in your belly as you dig your nails into his back. “M’gonna cum, Daddy, oh, my God, need it s’bad. Wanna cum, wanna make you cum, shit. Need to feel it, need you to fill me up, make me yours, God, please!”
“Fuck, such a good girl,” Matty gasps, his rhythm faltering as he gets closer. “Can hold on for me, just for a second, yeah? Wanna cum together,” he adds, and you whine, rolling your hips up against him and trembling with the effort of holding your orgasm at bay. He fucks into you with deep, sloppy thrusts, moaning into your mouth and pinching your clit. Garbled moans of fuck and yes and Daddy stumble from your lips, sticky, hot desire dripping from your cunt as you writhe under him. “Fuck, princess, you ready?” Matty gasps against your lips.
“Yeah, m’ready, Daddy, c’mon. Cum in me, fill up this slutty little pussy. M’yours, your good girl, your little cumdump. God, need it s’bad,” you moan, breaking into a whine as Matty spills inside you with a groan. Your orgasm follows a split-second later, moaning against Matty’s mouth with stardust glittering in your veins. Euphoria scorches under your skin, your head floating clear of your body as pleasure floods you, gasping and moaning. “Thank you,” you say dopily, smiling up at him as he pulls out. You widen your legs to watch his cum dripping out of you, pooling obscene and sticky on the mattress.
Matty watches you with a laugh. “Little cumslut,” he says fondly.
“Your little cumslut,” you smirk, stretching out your sore muscles. “When I said anything you want, I meant anything,” you grin. “Want me to be your little kept girl? Cook and clean for you while you look all pretty and important?”
He chuckles. “First of all, I’ve seen what you think passes for a meal, princess. Don’t know how you haven’t poisoned yourself.” You swat his shoulder, laughing. “Second of all, if you can stand right now, I haven’t worked hard enough,” he says, a smirk pulling at his lips.
“You’re lucky I like you cocky,” you tease, pressing a kiss to the corner of his mouth and testing your weight on your feet as you stand. Matty catches you as you stumble slightly, I told you so written plainly on his face. “Don’t,” you warn, before it can leave his mouth.
“Y’know, I think I like the sound of having a little housewife for the day,” he grins, your stomach tying itself in a knot at the word wife from his lips. “C’mon, sweet girl, I’m sure we can find something for you to occupy yourself with while you’re waitin’ for me to fuck you dumb again, huh?” he teases, your thighs clenching at the words. You bend to reach for your clothes, and he tsks softly. “Didn’t say you could get dressed, did I, angel?”
“No, Daddy. I won’t.” You swallow thickly, following him downstairs, feeling shockingly exposed in the glare of the sunlight pooling from the floor-to-ceiling glass windows. Matty’s cum trickles down your thighs as you hover beside him.
“Make us some tea, would you, darling?” he says, casual like you’re not naked and dripping cum on his pristine kitchen floor. “Shame you haven’t got a little apron, or something. Think I’d go a bit crazy, seein’ you in my kitchen dripping wet in nothing but an apron and a smile. Gotta teach you how to cook someday, if you wanna be my kept girl,” he continues, still maddeningly conversational as your cunt pulses wantonly at his words. “Tea, darling? Or have I got you too dumb for that without even touching you?” he teases.
Almost mechanically, you fill the kettle and flick it on, dropping a teabag into a mug for him and wrinkling your nose unsubtly. “Can I have a coffee? I don’t do tea.”
Matty laughs. “Course, princess. Want you to make yourself at home. Coffee’s just down there.” He points to a cupboard near your feet, stroking over the curve of your ass as you bend over. You don’t realise his game until you scan the contents of the cupboard and find nothing but pots and pans, and his fingers are tracing your messy, sensitive cunt. “Oops, did I say down?” he deadpans, reaching above your head to open another cupboard. “I meant up.”
“Perv,” you tease, retrieving the tin of coffee as the kettle whistles.
“Can’t help it,” he murmurs, dipping his head to kiss softly at your neck and jaw. “Too fucking gorgeous. Can’t believe you’re all mine.”
You giggle, breaking his hold to pour your drinks. “Can’t believe it took us this long. We’re idiots, kind of.”
“A bit,” he chuckles, accepting his tea and taking a sip. “So, what did you say? To that boy?” he asks, and you roll your eyes.
“No, obviously. Felt so guilty taking his number. Deleted it in the car,” you admit, staring into your coffee to avoid his gaze.
“Good girl,” he praises. “Knew nobody could fuck you like me, right? Nobody could treat you as good?”
You flush, setting your drink down and hopping up onto the counter, crossing your legs behind his back as he crowds into your space. “No, Daddy. Only you, I promise.”
Matty cups your jaw. “That’s right, princess. All mine. And I’m yours,” he says, cupping your jaw and connecting your lips in a searing kiss, drinking in the taste of you as you pour your emotions into his mouth. “So perfect, such a perfect girl for me,” he says, sucking a bruise into your skin and working his way down. He presses kisses over your tits, one hand coming up to play with a peaked bud as he wraps his lips around the other. You whine, arching your back and pushing against his attentions, a low buzz of pleasure growing in the back of your skull. “Love these tits so much, baby. So fucking perfect,” he murmurs against your skin, pressing a kiss in the valley of your breasts and tracing his fingers down, your muscles tensing at his touch. Desire whirls in your stomach, your head light and skin loose on your bones. He drops to his knees on the cool tile floor, kissing your knees as he spreads your legs wider, eyes blowing impossibly wider at the sight of your dripping cunt. “God, made such a mess of you, huh, princess? Want Daddy to get you cleaned up?”
“Please,” you gasp, threading a hand in his curls as he kisses the tender skin of your inner thigh. “Daddy, please. Want your mouth,” you whimper, moaning when his lips meet your slick skin. The pressure between your thighs is instant and familiar, mounting as Matty laps at your folds. He pulls off to bite at your thighs, scraping over his own fading bruises, faint pain tangling with pleasure under your overheated skin. His tongue is hungry as it fucks into you, his moans vibrating gloriously through you as you cling to the counter for dear life.
Your hips grind against his face, euphoria spiralling through you, stoking the fire low in your belly. “That’s it, princess. Gonna help Daddy get you off? My pretty little cockdrunk slut, need it all the time, right?” he murmurs, rubbing circles into your clit as he buries his tongue back into you. You can’t fucking think, everything in your brain drowned out by lips, tongue, teeth, Matty.
“Fuck, yes, Daddy, feels s’fucking good,” you whine, burying your hand in his curls and dragging him even closer, his tongue impossibly deep inside you as you clench around the muscle. Heat unspools in your belly, licking under your skin and setting your blood on fire, your hips rocking unbidden against his mouth. You cry out as Matty wraps his lips around your clit, pleasure-pain screaming from your still-sensitive nerves, all his attention focused on your swollen bud. “Oh, my God, oh, my God, oh, my God,” you gasp, pulse jackhammering between your thighs, so fast you’re scared it’ll set off dynamite in your chest.
“Yeah?” Matty smirks up at you, his lips and chin soaked in your arousal. You’re close, embarrassingly so, his tongue sloppy and greedy as he devours your cunt. His quiet moans into your cunt are intensely gratifying, amplifying the ecstasy kicking wildly under your skin. “God, you’re so pretty fallin’ apart like this. Could live between these pretty thighs, princess.” In response, you tighten them around his head, savouring his little gasp as his tongue returns to your cunt, licking over your hole with fervour. Your eyes roll back in your head, swimming dizzily in ecstasy, your cunt throbbing with need.
Your entire body is tense, muscles clenched and expectant as Matty tongue-fucks you within an inch of your life. “M’so close, Daddy, wanna cum,” you whimper, chasing the pleasure that coils tight around your veins, your vision blurring as euphoria chokes you.
Matty circles his fingers over your clit, his callouses scraping deliciously over your tender skin. “Cum for me whenever you’re ready, princess. Wanna feel you fallin’ apart on my tongue. Sweetest fuckin’ girl in the world,” he murmurs, pulling your clit into his mouth and sucking hard, a scream tearing free from your throat. Molten desire pools in your belly, your body humming with energy begging to be released. “Come on, darling, let me hear you. Give me everything you’ve got,” he moans, your cunt dripping on his tongue.
“Oh, fuck, m’cumming, Daddy, fuck! Oh, God, feels s’good, fuck, fuck, fuck,” you whimper, pure pleasure breaking you wide open, your vision whiting out as Matty’s tongue curls deep inside of you. You throb around him, every muscle in your body suddenly jelly, his hands on your thighs the only thing anchoring you to reality. Matty gets to his feet with a smirk, wordlessly prising your jaw open and sliding his wet fingers into your mouth.
You wrap your fingers around his tongue, sucking and licking the taste of you off his skin and moaning softly. “Good girl. You look so fucking gorgeous when you cum, princess.” He catches your lips in a messy kiss, your slick on his tongue as it sweeps your mouth, his hands finding your hips and pulling you close. “You up for a little day out, angel? Wanna show off my pretty girl, make everyone jealous of me.”
You giggle. “I told you. Anything you want. If you want to bend me over and show the entire fucking world who I belong to, I’ll drop my panties right then and there, promise.”
Matty’s jaw clenches, nails digging into your hips. “Don’t want anyone else seeing you like that, ever,” he growls. “C’mon, princess, go and get dressed. Got a busy day planned,” he grins.
“When did you have time to plan a day out?” you scoff, hopping to your feet and heading back up the stairs.
“Wanted to take you out and ask you to be my girlfriend, but that part got wrecked. I still wanna spoil you, baby.” He wraps an arm around your waist and presses a kiss into your hair.
You melt into his touch, leaning into him with a soft, private smile. “You’re too sweet,” you say, pulling away from him to step into your discarded underwear and jeans, turning to rifle through his drawers. After a few moments, you find what you were looking for, a shirt that must be a remnant of some distant, misspent youth; so small it’s almost your size, and it must have been cropped short on him because it barely brushes the hem of your jeans. “Did you actually wear this?” you laugh, turning this way and that as you admire how surprisingly well the shirt flatters you.
Matty laughs. “Told you, I was in a band in my twenties. Made some questionable fashion choices, but I made it work.”
Your eyes light up. “You have to show me. Please, I have got to see what you looked like when you fit into this,” you plead, and he scoffs.
“Nah. Looks better on you, anyway,” he says, sliding a pair of sunglasses over your eyes and kissing your cheek, brushing a stray piece of hair behind your ear. “Have you got a jacket? It’s fucking cold, for June,” he comments, a poor attempt at sounding casual.
It’s not that cold, and he knows damn well you don’t have a jacket. “Hmm, nope.” You pop the ‘p’ obnoxiously. “Guess I’ll have to borrow one of yours,” you say airily, as if that wasn’t his obvious fucking game all along. He slides a leather jacket over your shoulders, well-worn and smelling like him, and your reflection stops you dead. You look fucking hot. You look like a rich man’s scandalously young girlfriend, the graceful lines of him slotting perfectly into the picture. You snap a sweet photo of the two of you as he kisses your temple, and you giggle up at him.
“God, never gonna get over how gorgeous you look wearin’ my clothes, darling,” he murmurs, giving your ass a little smack and hurrying you into the car. His hand is familiar on your thigh as he drives, the warmth of his touch soaking into your skin and fizzing up in your chest. He presses kisses to your cheek at every red light, his gaze adoring every time it lands on you.
You share a lazy, light breakfast, trading kisses over pastries and coffee; yours heaped with cream and sugar and his bitter and black. Matty listens as you explain your friends’ petty little dramas, nodding or frowning at all the right moments but wise enough not to weigh in. He presses you against the car when you leave, digging one hand into your hair and the other into your waist and kissing the sugary-almond taste out of your mouth. “Pretty girl,” he praises, smiling as you flush.
“Sweet boy,” you murmur, kissing his nose as he pulls back and opens the passenger-side door for you. “Such a gentleman,” you giggle, sliding into your seat. You fiddle with the radio, turning to him expectantly when the car stays in park. “Thought you had the whole day planned out?”
“I do,” he grins. “Just waitin’ for you to tell me where you like to shop, angel.”
You smile, rattling off a list that comes as easily as breathing. “Are you gonna take me shopping?” you giggle as the engine purrs to life. “Won’t you get bored?”
“Nah,” he shrugs, reversing out of the car park. “I’ll be like the male lead in a romcom, carrying all your bags and following you like a lost puppy. It’ll be well funny,” he chuckles, and you can’t help but laugh, the image of him laden with shopping he’s paying for and wandering around a boutique looking slightly mystified frankly adorable.
“You’d make a good movie star. Just about pretty enough.” Matty gives an offended scoff and lights a cigarette, sulkily facing away from you as he takes a drag. An old favourite song crackles through the radio and you sing along, uninhibited and happy and maybe even a little in love.
Matty smiles at you indulgently as you start flipping through clothing racks, running your fingers through the fabric and musing which pieces already in your closet they’d pair well with. You pull out a pretty little summer dress, white and lacy with pink florals, and hold it up without looking at the price tag. “What do you think?” you grin, watching him picture you wearing it with a sleazy smile.
“If you want it, it’s yours,” he shrugs. “Go wild, princess.” Not one to look a gift horse, you take him at his word, draping the dress over your arm and fluttering off to flip through the skirts. A scandalously short leather mini catches your eye, and you hold it against your hips thoughtfully.
Matty’s jaw tightens unsubtly. “Oh, don’t be such a boy,” you tease. “I’ll model it for you later,” you add with a grin, and his hands fly to your waist and pull you in.
“Please don’t get me all worked up, sweetheart,” he pleads against your lips. “Don’t wanna have to cut this short because I had to bring you home and take what I need from you, do you?”
Your insides melt into liquid and you flush, heat slick under your skin. “Tempting,” you smirk. “Later tonight?”
His eyes darken, sparkling with allure. “I’m counting the minutes,” he murmurs against your lips, taking an inappropriately greedy handful of your ass and pressing his lips against yours.
Your knees go weak when Matty licks into your mouth, his tongue hedonistic and clever and sure. You indulge yourself in his kiss for a few moments, his body pressing against yours as he threads a hand into your hair. “Mmh, stop trying to distract me,” you say, voice slightly rough with desire. “I’m gonna bleed you dry, darling.”
Matty grins. “Do your worst, angel.”
And you certainly try your fucking hardest, piling his arms high with blouses and dresses and skirts; lipsticks and powders and creams; pumps and heels and sandals. When Matty starts dragging his feet, you take pity on him and pull him into the lingerie section, his jaw going slightly slack as he stares around; he looks vaguely guilty, like he’s been caught somewhere he shouldn’t.
You pluck a delicate, white corset off the rack, holding it up musingly. “How about this? Might be cute with one of those skirts?” Matty swallows thickly, clearly stuck for words that won’t get the pair of you banned from the store and maybe arrested for lewd behaviour.
“I like it.” He clears his throat. “A lot.”
You grin mischievously. “I have an idea, Daddy,” you murmur, the word a delicious taboo as it slips from your lips, scandalously inappropriate on the wide-open shop floor. “Should get yourself some presents, too. Pick some stuff out for me?”
A filthy smirk splits his face, and you shiver, a thrill running up your spine. Matty, it turns out, has extremely discerning tastes, at least when it comes to lingerie. Everything he chooses is carefully considered, holding the lace against your skin to consider the colour, the shape, the cut of the piece and how it’ll sit on your body. You end up heaped with a pile of bras and panties, corsets and teddies, babydoll dresses and chemises, slightly dizzy at the thought of dressing up in them for him.
“Think that’s more than enough to keep us both happy, don’t you, princess?” he grins, leading you to the counter. It takes aeons to get you rung up, and you feel a little faint at the sight of the total; it’s more than five thousand pounds. Matty doesn’t even look fazed, though, kissing you softly and swiping his card like it’s nothing. It’s maybe a little embarrassing, but you feel a faint tingle of arousal at him taking such a massive sum in stride.
You drape yourself across him as he loads your bags into the car, pressing grateful kisses anywhere you can reach. “Thank you, Daddy. Too good to me. Tell me how I can make it up to you.”
Matty smiles, wide and warm and so fucking sweet you can taste the honey dripping from his mouth. “Don’t need to, angel. Just let me spoil you. Like seein’ you happy after I was such a little bitch before. M’sorry, sweet girl.”
You laugh as you slide into the car beside him. “I’ve accepted worse apologies for worse things from far worse men. I think we’re more than even now.” You run your hand over his thigh, cupping his cock with a smirk. “How about I put on a little fashion show for you when we get back? Call it even when I can’t even remember my own name?”
He grins. “You are filthy,” he says delightedly, throwing on a burst of speed that pins you against the seat, suddenly desperate to get the pair of you into a bedroom.
Matty’s mouth is ravenous on yours as soon as you’re alone, dropping the bags to grip your waist hungrily and pull you flush against him. “Mmh, hold on,” you say, breaking away regretfully. “Don’t you wanna see me all dolled up for you, Daddy?”
Groaning, Matty slides his hands down to your waist, spanking you when you bend over to retrieve your bags. A pulse of wanton arousal throbs stickily between your legs, an involuntary moan rumbling from your lips. “Pretty little slut,” he mumbles approvingly. “Wanna get that pretty ass all red for me, god.”
“Yes, Daddy,” you murmur, straightening up and leaning back against him. “Anything you want.” He follows you up the stairs, making himself comfortable on the bed as you slip into the bathroom and change. You primp and preen, experimenting with lip swatches and sparkling eyeshadow, switching out your outfit until you’re satisfied.
Matty is waiting on the bed when you slip back into the room. The sight of him, his legs spread wide and clad only in boxers with one hand lazily palming his cock through the fabric, is almost enough to make you abandon your plans. “D’you like the skirt now, Daddy?” you ask, pulling the waistband down to reveal the scrap of deep-red satin clinging to your waist.
“Mmm, I don’t know if I’m quite convinced yet, princess,” he teases. “Think you should show me what it looks like off.”
A heavy pulse of want wells between your thighs, and you grin. “Let me put on a little show for you, first.” You cue up a carefully-curated playlist, swaying your hips in time with the beat and slowly peeling off your shirt. Matty’s breath catches at the sight of you, groaning low in his throat, the sound going straight to your cunt.
Turning and bending over right on cue, you shake your ass, flashing your panties under the skirt; Matty moans outright. “So gorgeous, princess. Gettin’ me so fucking hard, god,” he groans, and as you turn to face him, you’re treated to the sight of him freeing his cock, slowly pumping it and watching you intently. Your skirt slides to the floor as Matty fucks into his fist, delicious, gasping little moans tumbling from his lips. “Fuck, c’mere, please,” he pleads, gaze fixed on you as you stalk to the edge of the bed.
“Wanna sample the merchandise, huh?” you tease, straddling his lap and grinding down on his cock. Matty’s hands come up to your tits, palming and squeezing greedily as your head falls forward to meet his lips. You let him grope you for a few long, delicious minutes, his hands finding your hips, your waist, your ass and digging in. Then, you hop off his lap, and Matty whines. “I’ve still got more stuff to try on,” you grin, slipping away and changing into a sheer-white babydoll with a matching thong.
Matty chokes on air at the sight of you, and you smile angelically, kneeling at the foot of the bed. “God, gonna drive me crazy, darling. Need to fuck you so bad,” he groans, his cock flushed red and dripping as it disappears into his fist.
You giggle. “M’glad you picked this one, Daddy. D’you wanna know what I thought when I saw it?” He nods, dazed and practically drooling. “I thought, ‘That’s what I wanna wear around the house when I’m bein’ a good little housewife for my Daddy,’” you murmur, and Matty has a physical reaction, shuddering as his eyes go wide, the fantasy playing clear as day on his face.
“Fuck, princess,” he groans. “Angel. Darling. Sweet girl. Come here. Let me fuck you, please,” he begs, hips shifting needily as he pumps his cock.
Draping yourself over his lap, you smile blithely up at him. “You promised to spank me, Daddy,” you pout, and Matty gives a filthy smirk, tracing his fingers over your panties as you shudder and squirm.
“Such a filthy little slut, god,” he murmurs. “This sweet little ass is gonna look so pretty covered in my handprints, baby. Gonna remind you who you belong to every time you sit down, yeah?”
Arousal swirls through your body, wanton need dripping from your neglected cunt. “Belong to you, Daddy. Your girl— ah!” you gasp as Matty’s hand comes down, meeting your ass harshly. A long, low moan pulls from your throat, sweet pain tangling with the burning need under your skin. “Yes, Daddy, fuck. Please, more,” you whimper, face pressed against the sheets as you sink deeper into glorious submission. Three more smacks come in quick succession, the flesh of your ass flaming under his touch.
Matty kneads your tender skin gently, soothing before he delivers another hit, the pain washing over you and coiling into thick, palpable pleasure under your skin. “Love this pretty ass so much, princess,” he praises.
“Want you to fuck me there, one day,” you say dreamily, so lost in desire-slick fantasies that you don’t even process the admission as it falls from your lips. “Wanna be yours. Every single hole,” you murmur, eyes lidded and voice rough with lust. Matty freezes, and you tense. God, was that a weird thing to say? Too early to admit it? Is he gonna think you’re actually a slut now?
A moan of pure, unfiltered lust falls from his mouth and your thighs clench, the fabric of your panties soaked and sticky between your thighs. “Fuck, you can’t say things like that, princess. Gonna make me fuckin’ cum before I’ve even fucked you,” he murmurs, voice low and raked over gravel, thick with lust. His fingers tease over your clit through your panties, and you arch up into his touch, whimpering.
“Then fuck me,” you plead. “Please, Daddy. Want you.” Matty grins, manhandling you until you’re laying on your front, pleasure tense in your belly as he slides your panties to the side.
Your cunt clenches around nothing, gasping and pleading softly as the sheets dig into your cheek. “This okay, angel? Wanna watch the bruises come up on your pretty little ass.”
Lifting your hips, you shake your ass at him, a smirk pulling at your lips. “Gonna think about fucking it, Daddy?” He groans, the sound going straight to your core, slick cunt dripping as you press against him. “S’okay if you do. I have been. When I’m alone, when I want you, fucking myself on my fingers and thinkin’ about you stretching me out there. Would feel so fucking— Ohh,” you break into a moan as Matty enters you with no warning, meeting no resistance from your soaked cunt.
“So fucking wet for me, princess. So fucking filthy, playing with that needy cunt and thinkin’ about me fucking your ass, god,” he groans, dipping his head to kiss between your shoulder blades. A shudder runs through you, the stretch and burn between your thighs familiar, the ache soothing.
Your cunt throbs, thick pulses of arousal hammering in time with your racing heart. “Harder, Daddy, please,” you whine, arching your back. Dizzying lust envelops you, your head hazy and light, practically floating clear of your body. A shocked moan escapes you as Matty spanks you again, pain sinking into pleasure that coils tightly through your insides.
“Don’t be greedy, darling,” he chides. “C’mon, lift your hips a little for Daddy, okay?” Unthinkingly, you obey, letting him puppeteer you, mould you into whatever shape he likes. “Good girl,” he murmurs, sliding a pillow under your hips. You glow at the praise, nails scraping the sheets when he fucks deep into you, the change in angle sending waves of pleasure spilling over you.
“Ngh, Daddy, fuck,” you whimper, your words coming out garbled where your face presses into the sheets. Incoherent moans of please and fuck and I need and Daddy stumble from your lips, your body melting into a pleasure-soaked haze as Matty fucks deep into you.
Your hips meet obscenely, lewd sounds filling the room as your world narrows down to the four walls, aware of nothing but him. “That’s it, princess. Let it all out, let Daddy hear those pretty noises, yeah? Nobody else gets to hear you like this, right?” he coos, pinching your clit and moaning softly as your cunt clenches around him reflexively.
“N-no,” you promise shakily, struggling to pull the words to the forefront of your mind, delirious with pleasure. “Only you, Daddy. Only one who can fuck me like this. So fucking good.” You choke on a gasp, Matty’s hips meeting yours over and over, your vision swimming, your body set adrift in an ocean of sheer ecstasy.
“Such a sweet girl,” Matty murmurs, teasing your clit as you whine powerlessly. Seemingly just for the fun of it, he slaps your ass again, the sweet sting tearing you open. Pleasure rushes through you, cradling your very organs, stoking a fire that chars your bones. “God, I love your pretty ass, darling. Can’t wait to fuck this tight little hole.” His words sink into your skin, wrapping tight around your sore muscles, ecstasy coiling in your veins. With what feels like a monumental effort, you rock your hips up towards him, Matty impossibly deep inside you.
The tip of his cock brushes that perfect spot inside you, sending a bright jolt of pure euphoria fizzing up your spine. A keening wail falls from your lips, a loud, uninhibited sound of undiluted pleasure. “Gettin’ close, angel? Wanna cum for your Daddy?” You nod wildly, indistinct, stifled pleas tumbling from your lips like prayers. “Go on, princess, cum for me. Cum all over my fuckin’ cock, make me cum.” In that same obedient, thoughtless way, you do. You choke and whimper and whine, drool pooling in your mouth and dripping out against the sheets as you moan the only word you know: Daddy. Euphoria burns white-hot under your skin, melting your organs until your body is made of liquid desire, messily strung together by flimsy ligaments. Matty’s touch is the only thing anchoring you to reality, your head still hazy as you drift back to Earth.
Matty’s pace is erratic, frenzied and wild and hot as your cunt pulses with aftershocks. “Cum on me,” you beg. “On my cunt, on my tits, on my face, I don't care. Just wanna see it, wanna feel it, want you to mark me, make me yours,” you plead, and Matty groans. He gives your ass one more swift smack for good measure and flips you over, your bruised skin screaming in protest as it presses into the sheets. Three quick passes of his fist over his cock and he’s cumming, white ropes splashing across your belly and up to your tits, painting your skin in a filthy, lurid display. “Thank you, Daddy,” you murmur as he breathes heavily above you. “Love bein’ your little cumdump.”
His head tips back, a disbelieving laugh bubbling free. “Such a good, sweet, pretty girl with such a filthy mouth, princess. So fuckin’ hot.” You smile proudly, dragging your fingers through his mess and sucking the taste of him off them. Matty’s eyes go wide, his head falling to lap at the skin between your tits, kissing and sucking ravenously at them. He makes his way up and presses his lips to yours, the taste of him smearing between your mouths, the kiss a filthy thing, alive with desire. “You’re beautiful,” he mumbles, hushed like he isn’t even aware of the words, and you flush.
“So are you,” you smile as he falls next to you, gazing adoringly into your eyes as your chests heave.
“We should get cleaned up,” he says with a weak chuckle, and you mumble an affirmative without even pretending to move. “Just a minute, princess, then I’ll get you cleaned up, cook us some dinner, yeah?” he promises, kissing you gently as your eyes flutter closed. Of course, the pair of you wake an hour or so later, dried cum on your belly and crusting into your brand-new lingerie, your thighs uncomfortably wet and sticking. Matty carries you into the bath, takes gentle care of you, the promised meal waiting when you pull yourself out of the now-lukewarm water. Pillar candles glow atop the dining table, the light sparkling off your wine glasses, and your heart melts.
It doesn’t take long for you to fall deeply, irrevocably in love with him; every passing day reveals something new to adore. The words spring to your lips at any and all moments, both opportune and not, and it starts to become a real struggle to swallow them back down. You don’t want to be too much, too soon, and truthfully you’re scared of what his answer will be, and even more so of how you’ll react.
Your private-not-secret relationship is your so-called friends’ favourite topic of discussion, so much so that you’re afraid it’ll get back to your parents before you’re ready for them to know. You try to keep them happy with minor tidbits, throw them off with misdirections (yes, he’s older; no, I won’t tell you by how much; no, my parents don’t know him), but their endless reserves of intrusion are starting to wear you down. Thea is your only confidante, the only one besides Matty himself who knows the ins and outs, and you’re fucking dying for someone new to brag and gush to. So when Matty texts you one day in mid-August, asking if you want to meet his friends, you jump at the chance.
My friends are absolutely desperate to meet you, by the way
Insist they have to meet this girl I won’t shut up about
I’ve been told to tell you Emerald Hill at 10pm on Saturday, and not to take no for an answer
If that tells you what kind of a bunch they are, fair warning
i’d love to :)
come pick me up at 8? then we’ll have time to get presentable before we have to go ;)
By the time Saturday rolls around, you’re practically fizzing with excitement, much to your parents’ suspicion — they’ve been sceptical all summer of how happy you’ve been, curious glances and pursed lips every time you so much as smile at your phone. The excitement has turned to nerves as you’re leaving Matty’s, though, roiling in your gut as you obsess over every detail that could go wrong. Matty wraps comforting arms around your waist from behind, kissing the top of your head and holding you close, the thump of his heartbeat at your back soothing. “Stop worryin’ so much, love. S’gonna be fine, okay?” He gives a boyish little grin as he opens the car for you. “Can’t wait for you to meet my boys. All my favourite people in one place,” he says, and you smile softly, that warm, fizzing affection you don’t want to give a name to creeping up your chest.
Matty lets you choose the music as you drive, shaking his head every time you queue up another glitter-gel-pen pop song. He takes your hand and leads you into the bar, a classy little place tucked into a street corner, his eyes lighting up as he catches sight of whoever you’re here to meet, swallowed into a bear hug by a tall blond when he reaches the table.
“Ah, mate, it’s been too long,” the other man says, pulling back and offering you a hand. “George.”
You look up into his face and your jaw drops. The hot DJ from that fateful night at 102 grins down at you, and your eyes widen as you try to take back your composure. Swallowing your tongue, you smile and give your name, taking a seat as Matty pulls a chair out for you. Just as you’re getting over that shock, you lock eyes with Charli and she smirks back at you.
“Sunshine Baby!” she exclaims. “Fancy seeing you here.”
You laugh, the tension in your shoulders loosening at the merest semblance of familiarity. “How do you remember that?” you laugh disbelievingly.
“Wait, you two know each other?” Matty interrupts.
Charli shrugs. “Sort of. Sunshine over here racked up a three hundred quid tab and tipped me a hundred on top. Don’t forget that in a hurry.”
You cover your face in embarrassment. “That makes me sound like an alcoholic,” you groan. “Your fault, by the way.” You poke Matty’s shoulder affectionately. “I was mad at you, practically fucking bought out the bar about it. Entire place got a free drink off me.”
“I like her,” another member of the group chimes in with a laugh. You look up to meet the eyes of the speaker, and– Jesus. One group of friends shouldn’t be allowed to have this many hot people in it. “Ross,” he says, and you smile politely. The last member of the party introduces himself as Adam, and you greet him with a smile, letting yourself get absorbed into rapid conversation and raucous laughter. “Right,” Ross interrupts. “Matty — you’re picking up the tab,” he declares. “Oh, don’t make that face,” he says as Matty scoffs. “Amount you drink, I’m not paying it on a teacher’s salary.”
You giggle. “Aw, give him a break. These days, I’m spending his money faster than he can make it,” you joke, and Charli cackles. You’re pleasantly tipsy, the alcohol loosening your lips and lifting the weight of anxiety in your chest, conversation flowing between you as easily as the wine in your glass. You cling to Matty as you leave, waving cheerful goodbyes and promising to text Charli to arrange a girls’ night.
“I’m gonna regret introducing you two, aren’t I?” Matty sighs, pulling you in close against the unseasonably cold wind, the warmth of his body soothing.
“No,” you giggle. “I love her. Wish I had friends like yours,” you say, wistful and slightly self-pitying as you slide into the car.
Matty cups your cheek, leaning in across the console to press a tender, loving kiss against your lips. “I’m sorry, baby. But you have me. Always gonna have me, yeah?”
Your heart flutters, those three little words rising in your throat once again. “I guess you’re a pretty good consolation prize,” you tease, pushing down the frightening intimacy of the moment with levity.
“Alright, alright,” he chuckles. “Wanna come back with me? Or do you want me to drop you home?”
You scoff. “Is that even a question?”
The rest of your summer passes quickly, too quickly. You spend more time at Matty’s house than home, more and more of your things finding their place there as time passes. You start going to visit him at work without any other justification, every step nerve-wracking as your father’s presence looms. You have one unbelievably close call when he’s in the lobby as you’re leaving, frantically slamming the door close button in the lift before he can turn and spot you. Ruby stays just as hostile, seething at you and muttering warnings that Matty’ll be bored soon every time you pass her by. You take a petty, savage pleasure in tormenting her, just a little, deliberately pulling Matty in for long, filthy kisses as you open his office door.
By the time you can’t put off going back to uni any longer, there’s barely any point in you being home at all. Naturally, Matty offers to be the one to drive you up, and you seize the opportunity to be alone with him for the last time in however fucking long. Your father is privately relieved not to be the one to have to, you can tell, accepting your explanation that Thea’s just passed her test and she’s offered to drive me. You don’t mind, do you? without question. Shows how much he knows; Thea’s failed her practical six times and counting.
When you arrive, Matty insists that you don’t lift a finger, carrying all of your boxes upstairs and giving you something to ogle in the process. You’re the last one back, your housemates smirking at you and nudging each other at the sight of him, fourteen years your senior with grey in his hair, kissing you filthy and unashamed in plain view. Later, you mouth behind his back, their answering giggles reminding you that you do have good friends, after all.
Matty looks devastatingly gorgeous in the late-autumn sunset, leaning against his car with a cigarette dangling from his lips. You snatch it with a smirk, stretching up to peck his lips and taking a deep drag. His smile melts you into goo, your heart hammering so fast it might smash free of your ribcage. If you don’t say it now, you’ll lose your nerve.
“I love you,” you rush out, muffled against his chest as he holds you, arms cradling your body tight and warm and safe. “You don’t have to say it back, I just… I do, and I want you to know.”
Matty pulls back to look at you, eyes soft with affection and adoration and maybe even something deeper. “Do you know how long I’ve been waitin’ to hear you say that, princess? God, I love you. I love you so fuckin’ much,” he groans, his hands at your waist the only thing keeping you upright as your knees go weak. “Think I might die, havin’ to be without you these next few weeks.” You giggle, giddy with infatuation and devotion and… God, you can just say love, now. “I’ll be back soon, don’t worry. Could never stay away from you.”

C/W: Angst, heartbreak, probably not an accurate portrayal of Ross because it’s fictional so don’t get pissed off with me xoxo

The streets of London where Evie now called home were bathed in a soft, amber glow, the kind of autumn light that made everything feel a bit more magical, but also bittersweet. Leaves skittered along the sidewalks in a scattered dance, as if nature itself was letting go of something. It was Halloween night, but the mood between Evie and Ross felt less like celebration and more like something unsettled, hanging in the air.
Evie walked beside Ross, her hand slipping into his, but even that small touch felt different. There was a distance between them, a quietness that wasn't quite the usual comfortable silence. The sound of distant laughter from a group of kids in costumes echoed behind them, and she glanced over at Ross, hoping to catch his eye.
But he was staring ahead, his jaw tight, his fingers loosely wrapped around hers. It wasn't like him to be distant, but then again, it hadn't been like him to open up much in the first place, had it?
They'd been dating for nearly a year now, but somehow, it still felt like they were on the verge of something, but never quite there. It was a slow burn, something steady but frustratingly gradual. Meanwhile, Amy and Matty seemed like they were in their own whirlwind, so open, so easy with each other. Amy had always said relationships should take their time, but it didn't stop the voice in Evie's head from comparing.
"I don't get why people love Halloween so much," Ross mumbled, his voice low as they passed a house decked out in orange lights and fake cobwebs. "I mean, it's just... weird. All the masks and costumes. Who even gets dressed up as a skeleton anymore?"
Evie tried to smile at his attempt at normalcy, but it didn't come out right. Her lips barely twitched. "You don't have to get dressed up if you don't want to," she replied, her voice a little sharper than she intended. "I'm sure Matty's probably at a party in a ridiculous outfit right now. You know how he is."
Ross laughed, but it was brief, hollow. He didn't look at her. His eyes were fixed ahead, his hand still loosely wrapped around hers.
"Matty's... well, Matty," he said, his tone distant.
The words hung in the air, heavy with something she couldn't quite place. She felt herself pulling back, just a fraction, but enough for it to sting. When was the last time he'd looked at her like he really saw her?
Evie glanced sideways at him, the warmth of his arm next to hers feeling somehow colder than it should. They continued walking through the park, their steps the only sound between them. The trees around them were ablaze with fall colours—orange, red, gold—but it felt like they were moving through a tunnel of silence, everything muted.
She tried again, her voice a little softer. "You've been... off lately, Ross."
He stopped walking, and for a moment, she thought maybe he'd say something—something that would finally clear the tension between them, something that would make the silence make sense. But instead, he just looked at her, his expression unreadable.
"I'm not off," he said, his voice too even. "Just tired, I guess."
"Really?" she pressed, her chest tightening. "Because it feels like there's something else. It feels like you're shutting me out."
Ross exhaled, his breath coming out in a low, almost irritated sound. His hand fell away from hers, and she instantly felt the space between them widen, like a crack in the ground threatening to swallow them whole.
"I'm not shutting you out," he said, a little too quickly, his words a bit defensive. But she saw it in the way he looked away, in the way his hands flexed at his sides. He was lying, and he wasn't good at it. Not to her.
Evie swallowed the lump in her throat. "Then why do I feel like you're not all in? Why does it feel like you're... not here?"
His gaze flickered over her, sharp for a moment, and then softened. "I am here," he said quietly, but the words seemed so fragile, like he was trying to convince himself as much as her.
Evie's heart sank as the realization hit her. "You don't have to be," she said, her voice small, almost swallowed by the night air. "But if you're here, then be here. I need you to be, Ross. Because if you're not, then what the fuck am I doing here! What are we doing?"
His eyes widened, and she could see the guilt in them. He took a step closer, reaching for her, but the space between them felt like a chasm now. The air between them seemed so heavy, she could hardly breathe.
"Evie," he said, his voice lower now, almost pleading. "It's not that simple."
"Why isn't it?" she shot back, her frustration bubbling over now. "Why is everything so complicated with you?"
He ran a hand through his hair, his face pulled tight in thought, and for the first time in a long while, she saw how truly tired he was. Not just physically, but mentally, emotionally. Like he was holding something so heavy inside that he couldn't even begin to let it go.
"I don't want to drag you into it," he murmured, almost like a whisper to himself. "There's... a lot going on. A lot I haven't said."
Evie stared at him, her chest aching. The words were out now, and they hung between them like a shadow.
"What do you mean?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. The words felt sharp in her throat, the pain of them too real. "What haven't you said, Ross?"
He looked down, his shoulders tense. "There are things I haven't even dealt with yet. Things from before. From when I was... I don't know. Different. I'm trying to sort through it all, and I don't want to... drag you into it. I don't want you to have to deal with the mess I'm in."
Her heart pounded, every word from him like a stab of pain. He's holding something back. She knew it. But hearing it like this, hearing the depth of his uncertainty... it was more than she could have prepared for.
"Why didn't you tell me this earlier?" Her voice cracked with hurt. "Why haven't you let me in, Ross? We're supposed to be a team. I want to be here with you through it all. But instead, I'm just standing here, waiting for you to let me in. And every time I ask, it's like I hit a wall."
He looked at her then, his face so raw, so vulnerable, it almost broke her. "I didn't want to lose you," he said, his voice barely a whisper. "I thought if I let you in, you'd see all the broken parts of me. I thought you'd leave."
Evie's heart clenched at the confession. She wanted to say something—anything—that would fix this. But she couldn't. She couldn't fix him. She couldn't fix them.
"You didn't give me a chance to stay," she said, her voice small, shaking. "You just... kept me at arm's length. And it's killing me, Ross. It really is."
The silence stretched between them, heavy and suffocating. He stared at her, his face a mixture of guilt and pain, and for a moment, she thought he might say something more. But then he didn't. He just stood there, looking at her like she was something he couldn't reach.
Evie swallowed hard, trying to hold back the tears that had started to sting at the corners of her eyes. "I don't want to keep doing this," she said, her voice barely more than a whisper. "I don't want to feel like I'm begging for you to let me in. I love you, Ross, but I don't know how much longer I can keep waiting for you to figure it out."
He didn't say anything at first. Then, slowly, he stepped closer, his face stricken with regret. He reached for her hand again, but this time, she didn't take it.
"I don't want to lose you," he said, his voice raw, but there was a distance in his eyes that made her stomach twist.
Evie closed her eyes, the tears threatening now, her chest tight with the weight of it all. "I don't know if you can keep me, Ross," she whispered.
She turned, her footsteps faltering as she walked away, the sound of the leaves crunching underfoot echoing in her mind. The cold autumn air wrapped around her, but it was nothing compared to the chill she felt deep in her heart.

living this life with you
Tumblr media
hiiiiiii. long time no see. not promising that i'm back back but i'm definitely in the market of doing some writing again and getting back into the swing of things. this is a fun little smutty thing about the day matty and the missus decided they were going to try to have a lil baba. i have crazy baby fever lately so i figure this would probably hold me over until i'm ready to actually have a child of my own lol but anyways! let me know what you think and maybe send in some ideas for me to write if you'd like <33 love you all i think of you often
Carly and Adam’s son is placed in your lap, happily chewing on an ice pop and cooing every few seconds at the taste. Adam and Matty are talking about something for the upcoming album, a plan for when they’ll begin recording and beginning the process for the next roll out. Matty smiles over at you, his hair growing in luscious curls, begging to be ran through your fingers. You can’t take your eyes off of him, off the way he looks so happy just being with his friends, off the way he looks so healthy, so full of life. He looks the best he’s looked in years, you’d say, and it’s making it impossible to keep your eyes – and hands – off of him.
“Come here, baba,” Matty says, bringing the baby onto his lap and giving him kisses across his cheeks and neck, earning a fit of laughter from the baby’s mouth. “You are so lucky he looks like Carly.”
“Ha ha,” Adam scoffs, shaking his head, grabbing his beer and taking a pull from the pint glass. “What about you two? When are you going to pop one out? Add another member to the band.”
“Don’t start,” Matty warns, shaking his head. “Your father is going to get me in trouble, Little Hann.”
Carly looks at you quizzically, a frown passing over her features as you shake your head, not wanting to get into this conversation here, in front of your friends. You and Matty have argued about this multiple times over the last week alone, a brewing debate and you knew that if you got into it today, it would be even worse. You were reaching your breaking point with this conversation, and you really can’t bear to do this in front of people you know so well.
“Carly, do you want to step inside with me? I could use another soda.”
“Sure, love.” Carly presses a kiss to her son’s head and grabs her glass and walks with you into the kitchen. She follows you in quietly and leans against the counter. “So, tell me what’s wrong.”
“Ugh,” you sigh, grabbing ice and setting your glass on the counter with a clunk. “Matty is avoiding the baby conversation.”
“What do you mean?”
“Every time I bring it up, he tells me that we’re not ready or that he doesn’t want to have the conversation, right now. It’s like he’s totally changed his mind about having kids and won’t bother telling me. I’m getting really frustrated by it. I’m not getting any younger! I’m ready to do it, now, you know? He’s home and we’ve got some time and who knows how long it’ll take, and I’m just frustrated.”
“I’m sure he’s just nervous, babe! It’s a big deal, you know. Maybe he wanted to have extra time just the two of you. I mean, he is quite selfish with you. Maybe he just doesn’t want to share you.”
“I suppose,” you hum, swirling your soda around in your glass. “I want a baby, though. Badly, Carly.”
Carly giggles, “I remember those days. The baby fever was crazy.”
“I feel like I’m insane. Like, I want to climb Matty like a tree, twenty hours of the day. If he’s around, I feel like I need to attack him. It’s great for him, and for me, obviously. I just, Carly, I want to have a little Matty baby.”
“Talk to him! I know that if you talk to him about this, like really talk about it, he’ll be on board. I mean, it’s you and Matty. It would be ridiculous if after everything you two have been through you couldn’t talk this out. Look at him with the babe, too. Of course, he’ll want one with you.”
“I suppose so,” you say with a sigh, looking out through the glass doors and admiring him from afar, the baby on his lap, the falling curls in his face, the way his voice immediately shifts to talk to the baby. It’s everything you want and you’re sure that Matty would be right beside you.
Matty stands up from his chair and takes the babe with him, Adam following closely behind. “Darling, I think we need to steal him.”
“I am not letting you take my son, Matthew,” Carly laughs, shaking her head and reaching out for her son, who babbles happily and reaches back for his mumma. Matty hums, wrapping his hand around your waist and kissing your temple, humming against you as he sets his hips behind yours. “You two could have one though.”
“I’ll keep that in mind,” Matty laughs, kissing your cheek and grabbing his keys from the counter. “We should get going. Adam, I’ll text you about the studio time this week.”
You look at him with confusion, pursing your lips together and shrugging your shoulders as Carly gives you a questioning look. Matty grabs your hand and pulls you out, immediately grabbing your face and kissing you, hard, on their front steps. His mouth is heavy on yours, his tongue gliding against yours, his hands moving down your body and cupping your ass in his hands.
“Hm,” you hum, pulling back with a giggle, your mind glossed over with his touch. “What’s gotten into you?”
“Hann got me thinking,” he hums against your lips, biting at your bottom lip as he pulls you in closer, your body pressed tightly against his.
“Thinking about?”
“I think I want one.”
“One what?”
“I think I’m ready, you know, for us to have a baby.”
You blink twice, pulling your face away from his and staring at him in awe. “You’re not joking, right?” You set your hands on his chest, pushing your bodies away slightly, just to get enough space to know if he’s speaking in the heat of the moment or if he’s serious. “Don’t, I mean, if you’re not serious, I don’t want to get into another argument about this.”
“No, darling. I want it. I want a baby with you,” Matty hums, leaning in closer and pressing his mouth just beneath your ear, kissing the soft spot on your neck sweetly, seductively whispering, “I want to make a baby with you.”
“Take me home. Take me home, right now.”
Matty laughs loudly, grabbing your hand and pulling you towards the car, his hand pulling you into his chest once more to kiss you, your heart pounding so heavily in your chest, you’re sure he can feel it.
“My heart is beating so loud I can feel it in my ears,” Matty chuckles, closing the door behind him and waiting for you to settle into your side of the car.
“Mine, too,” you hum, closing your eyes to soak in the moment. “What made you change your mind?”
“Change my mind?”
His eyes don’t meet yours, but you can see the way his eyebrows quirk together in confusion. “About having a baby. You’ve been avoiding the topic every time I’ve brought it up the last few weeks.”
Matty rubs his hand over his stubbled cheeks, sighing and turning to face you. “Honestly?”
“Always want you to tell me honestly.”
Matty hums for a moment, “I’m scared.” The light turns green, and he turns back to the road and reaches to grab your thigh. “I have been working so hard at being a good husband and being a good friend and being a good artist in the last year. I am not sure I am cut out to be a good father. I love the babies we’re around. I love babies. And, by God, YN, I love you. More than anything. I want to do everything with you. I just can’t help but worry that things won’t be the same. We won’t have time for each other the way we do, now. I don’t want you to feel like we lose our relationship when we become parents. It’s just, it’s a bit scary.”
“My love,” you sigh, reaching across the console and pressing a kiss to his cheek, “Matty, why didn’t you just tell me that?”
“You seem so ready, darling. I didn’t want you to feel like I’m not ready. I am, I just, I’m nervous.”
“It’s okay to be nervous, baby.” You wait until Matty’s parked the car to unbuckle your seatbelt and reach over to grab his cheeks, coaxing him to look at you as you smile, your eyes wet with realization and pure, unconditional love for this man who has always done everything according to your timeline and your wants. “I’m nervous, I have no idea what we’re going to do, but it’s you. You and me. And there’s nothing I want more than to live a life where we can make something from how much we love each other. All the rest of it? We can figure that out. All that matter is that I love you. Unconditionally and forever.”
Matty looks at you softly, his eyes melting into your stare as he tilts his head and captures your lips in his, kissing you deeply. “Let’s go inside,” he mumbles against your lips. “Let’s go practice.”
You smirk against him, quickly following his lead as he clambers out of the car, unlocking the front door and taking your hand, pulling you inside after him. He takes your cheeks in his hands and kisses you, his tongue sliding along your bottom lip, teasing you, his hands reaching your back and ghosting across your skin, smacking your backside as you stumble backwards towards your bedroom, a fit of giggles and laughter following your steps.
It's hurried, the undressing as you stare at each other across the room, the way Matty shuts the door behind him and pulls his shirt over his head while you struggle to unbutton your shorts under his stare. He cocks his head to the side, laughing when you shake your head and mumble, shut up, and instead of helping you, he nudges you back against the bed and falls on top of you. It’s silly, to be nervous and excited like it’s your first time together all these years later, but there’s an element of newness to it that neither of you can really touch on, can really place. Matty lays beside you, letting you lead the way with his mouth on yours, easing into this. He wants to go slow, to take his time.
His hand ghosts along your stomach, teasing at your thighs, dragging his fingers along your wetness just enough to make you squirm beneath him. His fingers press against you, sliding across your most sensitive points until he hears a wantoned moan leave your lips, your kiss becoming deeper, more passionate, his hands working in circles on the nerves settled between your thighs. The sensations of it all are too much, the kiss, the pressure, the delicious pleasure moving through you, your body reacts so intimately, so happily to him. It’s like you were made to be in his arms.
“You are so sexy,” he grunts against your lips, kissing your harder as his fingers dip into your heat. You moan into his mouth, your eyes rolling back as every ounce of pleasure rolls through you, your body beginning to shake under his touch. “Come on, baby. I want it, please.” Your body instantly reacts, your climax washing over you uncontrollably as you kiss him.
“Get over here,” you laugh breathlessly, pulling him on top of you, your mouth meeting his easily as he leans down to kiss you. “I love you. Endlessly.”
“I love you more, darling.” His words echo through you as he slides into you, his moan etched deep into your soul as he begins to rock his hips against you, your thighs hitched as high as they’ll go, and your bodies connected ever so intimately. It’s so special, you think, to share this intimacy with the person your soul loves so deeply, so furiously. There will never be another person that feels the way you do about this man, about his love.
And you kiss him, so passionately, so fiercely, that you nearly lose yourself in the moment. All that matters is him and you and that fact that from today on, you are going to love him with the intention of being life partners, being parents. You’re going to experience a connection that only you will share with him, that only you will know. You will be bonded forever, permanently, in a person that is an expression of how much you love him.
“I love living life with you, Matty,” you say, clutching him close and blinking back tears. It’s something you’ve always thought, but never felt compelled to say until right now.
He kisses you, a kiss that could only mean, I feel the same, and you know that this is only the beginning.

Tumblr media
Old pictures and posters cover the ceiling staring back at you. An old blur poster, next to an oasis one because you could never choose. Pictures of your sixth form prom, you arm in arm with George after you got cancelled on by your original date and he stepped up to take you. And of course, the very first poster of the 1975 to be printed. Technically it was the first poster of Drive like I do but one day Matty came over announcing they had changed the band name. Again. And crossed out drive like I do and scribbled “the 1975” over the top.
If you didn't know better you'd think that poster was the only one up there, it seemed to grow each time you stared up. Every time you lay down on your childhood bed you are met with a picture of him. The dickhead you're trying to convince yourself you really do think is a dickhead. But here you are again. At 3 am staring up at his face. The moonlight filtering through your window was highlighting the poster almost mockingly. God even the moon was working against you.
You growl in frustration and go onto your phone in an effort to distract your racing mind only to be met with another photo of Matty and the boys. Fucking Matty. It felt like he was stalking you. Which would be impressive considering you and him hadn't spoken in 2 weeks, not since that night on the tour bus.
As you expected the guys hugged and made up the next morning, consoling each other like 15-year-old girls. But the same couldn't be said for you and Matty. You hadn't spoken at the last show, in the airport or even on the plane home despite being sat together. It was a very frosty 14 hours. But if he was going to be stubborn, you would be stubborn right back. You hadn't let him win before and you certainly wouldn't now.
Only a few miles away Matty was in a very similar situation to you, staring at the ceiling willing his brain to stop swirling. As you were all on a brief break from tour Matty thought it would be best to come home to Wilmslow, just to make sure he wouldn't see you in London. Because if he did he's not sure how much longer he could keep up the stubborn act, and he was nothing if not competitive.
He really did feel bad about that night on the bus but he needed you to crack first, he couldn't lose again. Little did Matty know that you had thought the same thing, you were desperately craving the comfort home gave you and the distance from him. In trying to be apart the two of you had only pushed yourself closer.
Fresh air. That would sort you right out, normally you couldn't take a walk at 3 am but that was in London. Wilmslow was nothing like London, the most dramatic thing to happen in months is Ken and Linda's divorce so you didn't feel like you were at much risk for being brutally murdered. Unbeknownst to you, across town Matty was having the exact same thought. Well, almost the same thought, he can't say Ken or Linda crossed his mind.
Cold air filled your lungs and your mind flashed back to the night at the club. The weird eye contact, the awkward cigarette and the strange silent agreement all shot to the front of your mind. Shaking your head you try and tell yourself to just stop thinking. With no place in mind you just began moving, the thought of standing still for 5 more seconds seemed impossible to you. Before you knew it your feet were taking you in the direction of the skate park, a place you frequented a lot when you were younger.
Desperately tagging along with your older brother to start with but as you got older it was your brother and his mates, who soon became your mates. Well some of them did. The one glaring exception to that was also on his way to the very same skate park, old skateboard in hand.
Matty had slithered out of his mum's house as quietly as he could, trying not to wake her or Louis up, knowing he would never hear the end of it. Before he left he grabbed his board from the cupboard under the stairs, he briefly thanked whatever God there may be that his mum hadn't binned it on any of her cleaning rampages.
With each step you felt your mind freeing, being home always put you at peace; apart from your mum sometimes but you would never tell her that. Eventually, you see the skate park start to come into view, you'd tried to stop at the corner shop to get some alcohol before remembering that you weren't in London, and the corner shop closed about 7 hours ago.
The smell of freshly cut grass filled your senses the further into the park you went, it comforted you as you trudged your way across the large football field that separates the main park from the skatepark. After many complaints from parents about “hooligan teenagers” the skate park was moved slightly further away from the play equipment.
For a second, you could've sworn you saw a shadow on one of the ramps, but you wrote it off as an animal or something. No one else would be out at this time. You are pretty sure the whole town of Wilsmlow was asleep from 9 pm to 7 am every day.
You reached the top of the smallest ramp and sat down swinging your legs over the ledge and for 5 whole minutes, you hadn't thought of Matty once until you heard an unmistakable voice ring out from below you.
“You’re kidding me right now.” You froze, briefly thinking it was your imagination but nope, you looked down the ramp and met with the eyes of the very man you were desperately trying to avoid thinking about.
You had no witty reply, no quick retort because at that moment you couldn't think of anything worse than seeing him. Especially when he looked like that. His normally perfectly manicured curls were fizzy and unkempt. He was wearing an old pair of tartan pyjama trousers, a ripped oversized harley davidson t-shirt and a fluffy cardigan that if you were to guess, was his mum's. Dark circles surrounded his eyes which looked slightly sunken, and in his left hand was the same board you coveted from all those years ago.
Maybe it wasn't the rockstar performer Matty that most people knew, but this was your favourite Matty. The Matty only a few people saw, the slight sleep-deprived domestic Matty always had a soft spot in your heart. Not that he knew that, you're not even sure you knew that until you saw him in that moment.
Silently he jumped up next to you and sat down, both of you chose to ignore the way your shoulders brushed and the way spark it created. After a few beats you got the courage to speak up, “is that the skateboard you taught me to skate on?” you asked, remembering the long few weeks of learning to skate. It was a summer of many bruised knees and drunk nights in the park; to this day it was one of your fondest memories of home.
Matty jumped slightly at your voice, not expecting you to be the first to talk, “Yeah, mum never threw it out I guess. Do you remember how shit you were?” He giggled out the last sentence, his shoulders shaking your own. You eventually started to laugh with him, if you were honest with yourself you really were shit. Ross had taken to skating so quickly you thought it would be the same for you but it wasn't.
“Yeah, I do. Remember that I was such a shit student that all the boys fobbed me off to you? They knew you wouldn't go easy on me like they did.” This caused a loud laugh to bubble out from both of you which soon turned into sleep-deprived cackling that had you holding your stomachs and gasping for breath.
Eventually, you got your breath back and lay down staring up at the sky, Matty soon followed suit and the silence resumed. But this silence was slightly more relaxed, still not pleasant but it was better.
“Hey, you want to go back to mine? I have a bottle of wine stashed under my bed from my 19th that I'm desperate to drink right now.” Matty whispered, despite no one being around it still felt like it was right to whisper. He expected a hard and fast no from you but instead, you were quiet. A little too quiet, Matty turned his head to look at you and was shocked to find you already facing him.
He stared into your eyes and admired the way your eyelashes fluttered against your cheek. You did the same to him, loving the way the moon reflected in his deep brown irises.
Just as quietly as he asked you responded with a simple, “Yes, let's go.” Soon enough you were walking side by side down the streets of the small town you both grew up in. This time, the silence was comfortable. Unusual, but comfortable.
The keys rattled in the door of Matty's door as he opened it, slowly he poked his head around and thankfully no one was awake. He ushered you in and you followed him slowly up his stairs, a sense of familiarity washed over you as you looked around. His house hadn't changed from when you were young. The same Beatles artwork lined the hallway and the stairs were still covered in a deep purple carpet that Denise always insisted she would replace “next year.”
Matty's room was also the same you thought as you walked in, you hadn't spent much time in here but over the years you'd picked up Ross from band practice or sat with the boys getting high. It was still very similar to your own, every surface was covered in posters. Various bands littered the walls along with posters of his favourite movies, pulp fiction and true romance took pride of place above his bed.
Of course, it was still matty so there was also a rather large “Legalise it” poster above the keyboard in the corner. His bed was decorated with black sheets covered in small white stars. The headboard had fairy lights wrapped around it, you had made fun of Matty when he first put them up but he insisted they were “fucking vibey.” And to be fair to him, when you were stoned they really were.
You sat down on the bed and Matty got on his knees to begin looking for the wine stashed under the bed. Already slightly drunk just on the presence of Matty you joked, “Now there's a sight I like, Matty Healy on his knees” An unimpressed look fell over Matty's face as you began to giggle at your own immature joke.
“Such dirty jokes darling! And in my childhood room nonetheless” Matty jokingly retorted after coming back up victoriously, a bottle of wine in hand. The springs squeaked when he sat down next to you, he unscrewed the wine and took a quick sip before handing it over to you.
The maroon liquid slid down your throat and immediately calmed your racing thoughts, you knew it couldn't work that quickly but in that moment you didn't care for logic. “As if this room hasn't seen a lot worse over the years Healy, I've heard the horror stories!” you smirked as you handed Matty back the bottle. Passing it back and forth between you, both taking short sips and enjoying the pretty cheap wine.
“Horror stories! Sweetheart I’m wounded” Matty joked holding a hand to his heart and acting as if you had stabbed him. His childlike actions solicited a small laugh out of you, soon a hush fell over you both as you looked into each other's eyes and wordlessly kept swigging the wine.
Matty's eyes flicked down to your lips so briefly that if you blinked you would've missed it. But you didn't miss it. And he didn't want you to. Your breath shifted as he started to move ever so slightly closer, as if he was testing the water.
You didn't have the patience to test the water and crashed your lips into his, pulling his face into yours. He quickly reciprocated and pulled you into his lap gripping your ass as you ground down into him, only the thin fabric of both your pyjamas kept you separated.
You felt matty hardening beneath you and a plan formed in your head, with a smirk you broke the kiss. Matty desperately chased your lips but you pushed him away and began slithering down his body, before long you were on your knees in front of him. “You know I never did apologise for the other night” you drawled out, sliding your hand up his clothed thighs, rising up slightly on your knees.
“Oh- yeah- I meant to apologise for that-” Matty began to ramble, with the way you were looking up at him- how could he not? He was starting to stutter when you interrupted him with a hand on his chest.
“Matty im the one apologising remember? What did you say again? Oh yeah, ‘next time you come crawling back to me you'll have to beg on your knees.’ well here I am, on my knees.” You began to press small slow kisses up his neck, licking and sucking when you reached the edge of his jaw.
Matty swiftly realised you wanted this, and you wanted him. He slipped right back into the new version of him you had begun to love. “Well baby, I did say beg and I haven't heard that yet” he tried to keep his voice steady as you hit a particularly sensitive spot behind his ear.
Sitting back on your knees slightly you make eye contact with Matty and breathe out, “Please let me suck you off Matty. Please. I promise it will make you feel so much better.” you punctuated the end of your sentence with a particularly dirty kiss that pushed Matty right to the edge.
“Shit- yeah go ahead baby” Matty sighed out and soon enough you were making your way back down his neck and torso.
You pressed your face into the warm skin of Matty’s stomach, pushing hot kisses down his body until you reach his waistband. You let a shaky breath out as you pull down his trousers and free Matty's achingly hard cock. He let out a strained moan as he looked down at you, seeing you on your knees looking up at him with doe eyes and fluttering your eyelashes is going to be the death of him; he was sure of it.
“I've been thinking about doing this for a long time” You muttered, letting your lips and tongue delicately brush against Matty's tip. He growled in response and griped your hair harshly, desperately trying to avoid just fucking your mouth.
“C'mon sweetheart stop teasing or I’ll- shit-” Matty's complaint was cut short by you taking him in your mouth all the way down and swallowing around him. His fingernails scratched your scalp as he grabbed and pulled your hair.
Your nose brushed the dark curly hairs and the base of his dick as you held it in your mouth, focusing on the deep buzz of desire making its way through you. Matty jerked his hips forward at the feeling causing you to gag but at that moment you didn't notice, the only thought in your head being making him feel good. Your hand press his thighs against the bed, revelling in the noises coming from Matty, each new grunt and groan fuelled your ego.
You began moving up and down on his cock, taking what you didn't have in your mouth in your hand and jerking it. Slowly you gain confidence and start moving quicker, twisting your hand at the base and going up and down his shaft. Tracing the large vein on the underside with your tongue each time you move up and down. You came fully off and began making out with his tip, giving the underside kitten licks and groaning at the taste.
The low groan that resonated out of you caused Matty to jerk forward once again, you took it as an invitation and dropped your hands from his thighs and looked up at him. You keen into his hand hoping he would understand your silent plea. Your blood-red nails trailed down Matty’s legs leaving scratches in their wake. Matty thrusts again in your throat, loving the feeling of you marking him; the pleasure mixing with the pain.
Tears are streaming out of your eyes and spit bubbles at the corners of your mouth but you couldn't care less at this moment because Matty was looking at you with such hunger it causes wetness to pool in your underwear. Looking up at him you begin to beg with your eyes, desperate to have him claim you.
Matty delicately swipes the mascara-coloured tears from your cheeks and asks the question he's been so desperate to since you dropped to your knees “You want me to fuck your mouth huh baby? fuck you up a little?” you nod as fervently as you can with his cock resting in your mouth, causing Matty to spit out a string of curses.
“Yes fuck- I always thought of doing this to you in here shit-” Matty sighs out as he begins experimentally thrusting into your throat. You were too lost in the haze to hear his comment and began to gag slightly as his cock hits the back of your throat. A low moan from you encouraged Matty to go faster and soon enough he was fucking your throat wildly, ignoring any gags from you only being spurred on by the moans leaving your filled throat.
Each time Matty's hard cock hits the back of your throat you have to hold back a whimper. His cock fit perfectly in your mouth and you loved feeling him. Matty had received many blowjobs in his 29 years of life but he would swear on anything that it has never felt this fucking good. Each time you tightened your throat around him caused his mind to reel and made his grip on your hair even more viscous as he puppeted your head up and down his shaft.
You swallow around Matty as he stares at your mouth stretched out around his cock, marvelling at your closed eyes; you were obviously enjoying this just as much as he was.
You couldn't get enough of the feeling of his heavy dick in your mouth. You flicked your eyes open to stare at the man in front of you, taking delight in the way sweat drips from his brow as he works himself in and out of your mouth.
“Such a good girl for me yeah? Knew you'd be back on your knees just not like this fuck.” Matt's head lulled back and he closes his eyes a low groan coming from deep within his chest. “I’m gonna cum sweetheart shit- look at me yeah? Look in my eyes when I cum down your throat.” As soon as your eyes meet, Matty is cumming hot and thick down your throat.
After a few seconds Matty pulls out and tucks his dick back into his boxers, as he looks back at you he sees you swaying slightly on your knees obviously fucked out, cum dribbling out of the corners of your mouth. Matty grips your chin and pulls your face up to meet his, “open your mouth.”
As you do he's met with a sight that made him weak, your tongue was heavy with his cum. A primal growl comes from Matty as he leans down and spits in your mouth, snapping your mouth shut with his hand on your jaw.
“Swallow,” he demands. A squeak of shock leaves your mouth only to be followed quickly by a moan as you swallow down the mixture of cum and spit. You try to grind down on something absentmindedly, desperately trying to alleviate some of the pressure building in your stomach.
Matty notices your feeble attempt at feeling some relief and pulls you up onto the bed, holding your neck possessively as he says, “Oh baby did you get all worked up by me fucking your mouth?” You groan and give Matty a nod, desperate for him to help with the wetness between your thighs.
“I would help darling but this was an apology remember? You needed to say sorry to me, and you have. But you won't be getting anything in return. You should be thankful I let you suck me off.” he paused briefly a filthy smirk coming across his face. “So say thank you, baby”
Your voice was raw and scratchy from Matty's rough treatment as you breathed out a meek, “Thank you Matty” he smiled appreciatively at your obedience and cruelly patted your cheek.
“Let's go to sleep now baby, come lay down with me,” Matty said as he lay down on his bed, patting the empty space next to him. You joined Matty and the two of you begin to lazily make out until the post-orgasm haze got the better of you both and you fell asleep on Matty's chest, rising and falling with each of his breaths.
Sunlight streamed through the curtains and illuminated the small space you were asleep in, dots and streaks moved through the room as the trees swayed and allowed sunlight to peak through and dance on the ceiling. Matty stared at your sleeping figure and thought about how peaceful you looked. He's only ever seen you so at peace once in his life before, the day he finally saw your apartment for the first time.
Unlike the other guys, Matty had never been inside your apartment let alone slept over but the others were always there. As far as Matty knew your apartment could be a secret drug den but all he's ever seen is the 3-meter-squared entryway. Until the day he finally got a peek when he picked Ross up on the way to the studio.
Ross had forgotten something inside so ran to grab it and accidentally left the door open, Matty immediately stuck his head in and began looking around; he ignored the fact that he was so eager to see how you lived.
Plants were everywhere, even trailing down the walls, which was strange to him; he never thought of you as a plant person. Large colourful sofas filled the living room as well as bookcases overflowing with old novels and nicknacks. They were dark oak, Matty assumed they were another charity shop find and admired the small rose engraving that trailed up the side of them.
Framed photos of you and the boys were on almost every surface, the sight warmed his heart a small bit. Despite spending 24/7 with them you still wanted them around in some way or another. Soon enough Matty realised that quiet music was filtering through the apartment and he felt himself being drawn toward it.
He began to follow the music that he now recognised as Otis Redding’s love man record; one of his favourites. The sight he was met with made his mouth go dry. You were standing in your pyjamas, softly swaying standing at the oven cooking pancakes. A small smile graced your lips as you mouthed the words, your hair wet from a shower. Matty couldn't help but feel his heart flutter at seeing you in such a domestic setting.
The large windows that were all over your apartment left you standing in a sunbeam, if Matty didn't know better he would think it was a spotlight. The light was filtering around you perfectly, bouncing off your pink silk pyjamas.
Matty didn't like how he felt at that moment. He felt a sense of yearning. To see this again, as much as he could. To be standing with you singing Otis Redding. Obviously, he knew as soon as you saw him this illusion would be shattered, and it was, but he almost began to enjoy the discomfort of standing there, knowing it was caused by you.
Before long you spotted him, called him a perv for staring and pushed him right back to the entryway but Matty has never forgotten how you looked that morning. How restful it all felt. It reminded him of now as he watched you breathe, your hair sprawled over his pillowcase with a small smile on your lips. God, even when asleep you were beautiful.
Wait. No. Not beautiful, just tranquil. Silent. Before he could spiral much longer you woke up from your sleep and smiled at him, observing how the sun behind him illuminated his frazzled curls and almost looked like a halo around him.
“Hi,” you said simply, not quite awake but aware someone needed to say something otherwise you're sure you'd be sitting in silence for the next hour. “Hi,” he said back the exact same way, with an airy quality surrounding the word.
The pressure was building between the two of you to have a real conversation about this, whatever it was. Because at this point it had to be something. But you weren't ready for that conversation and neither was he, all you both wanted to do was live in this moment. With the sun heating the room you were in, the light hit all the right places around you. So you did what any sane person would do at that moment, proposition him.
“Wanna have sex?” you bluntly said, raising your eyebrows suggestively. A Cheshire cat-like smile broke out on Matty's face as he leaned in and began kissing you. This kiss began slow, his lips moved slowly and carefully over yours, he moved his hand from the bed up to your cheek and pulled you in harder.
The kiss began to heat up as you grabbed Matty's bottom lip between your lip and pulled on it. In response Matty growled and pulled away, he laid down and grabbed your hips, pulling you onto him just like last night.
You pulled away and sat up to admire the man under you, he had taken his shirt off at some point in the night leaving his chest bare, his pale skin was stark against the black sheets. You traced each one of his tattoos with your pointer finger admiring how his muscles tensed with your featherlight touch. His lips were red and puffy from the rough kisses, his cheeks were pink and he was flushed all over, giving his whole body a small glow.
Matty whined impatiently and pulled at the hem of your shirt prompting you to take it off. You quickly followed his request and stripped off the baggy shirt revealing your bare chest, your nipples pebbled at the cold air. Matty groaned appreciatively and sat up to begin assaulting your chest with kisses and leaving small hickeys in his wake, delicately scraping his teeth against your breasts. He marvelled at the breathy moans you let out as he continued his movement.
The door of the small room creaked open but both you and Matty were too preoccupied to notice, soon a voice broke the silence.
You screamed and pulled the blanket up to cover your bare chest. All three of you stood there and stared, chests heaving in shock and eyes wide. How the hell were you going to explain this? Fuck.

Insufferable Arsehole (When In Rome) Part 10 - Step Into Your Skin
An: so I know it's a long time in the waiting but here's the new chapter of Insufferable Arsehole... Taking a little break seriously brought my love back for this series, thank you to everyone who continually supports me, I love you. This next part of the series is titled "When In Rome" hope you enjoy - Lou
Warnings: smut, fluff, mentions of tattoos. Bit long? 🤣
Series Masterlist
Previous part
Rome is heaven, everything about it from the heat, the sun, the views, the vibe, is perfect. Matty had planned the whole thing, Lou going with the flow and following the man she loved. He had managed to book their villa for a week and a half, both wanting to go home at some point and see their families.
Matty was watching Lou from the kitchen window, she was lying by the pool on a sun lounger, clad in a skimpy black bikini that left hardly anything to the imagination. But he didn't need to imagine, not when he had her right there, officially his girlfriend and more than willing to do anything he wanted.
Sunglasses rested over her eyes, and he watched intently as water droplets glistened on her skin in the sun, skin which had darkened far quicker than his. Skin which was already loitered with purple bruises after being attacked by his desperate and aching mouth.
His eyes wandered over her tattoos, landing on the box tattoo above her wrist, directly opposite his own. He didn't notice the huge grin resting on his face as he looked at her, but he was the perfect picture of a man in love. He felt his heart fluttering as he looked at her, he felt like he was flying, no, he was soaring, swept up in everything that was her and he never ever wanted to step back onto the ground, not when soaring felt this good.
Condensation on the glass of the iced coffee he had made her, dripped against his hand, stirring him from his daydream. His feet carry himself to her, leaving the confines of the kitchen, which backed onto the garden which was huge and had a beautiful infinity pool. He immediately feels the heat flush against his body, his bare chest which had just cooled down beginning to form a sheen. His shadow casts over her body as he stands above her.
She removes her sunglasses, smiling up at the man as he offers her the coffee with a smile.
"Thank you my love" she says, sitting up to take a sip, practically moaning as the coffee hits her tongue, the ice cooling her down almost instantly.
Her hand finds his as he still stands, staring down at her, mouth agape slightly. Her now cold mouth places a soft kiss over his knuckles, silently thanking him again.
"Jesus Christ I need to go for a swim to cool off" he says, not referring to being hot because of the weather. She giggles up at him, knowing the effect she had on him, and it's only worsened when she takes her bottom lip in-between her teeth, making the man grunt. His hand grasps her chin gently, thumb plucking her lip from her teeth, calling off the attack before he speaks.
"You're killing me here love" he says and she shrugs at him.
"I'm not doing anything" she says innocently. He chuckles at that, jumping into the pool. She giggles as he hits the water, causing a big splash, the water covering the deck and attacking her too. Little did he know she was suffering too, watching the way his tanned chest glistened in the sun, tempting her to run her palms over the muscle.
She laughs at him as he emerges, curls now soaked and sitting flat against his head as he flicks them back.
"What did I do?" She asks, her hands held to her chest in an attempt to shield herself from getting soaked.
"Nothing. Just being you love and it's killing me" he says, swimming over to the edge of the pool, she stands from her seat, coffee left by the lounger. She lowers herself so she's sat at the edge of the pool by the time he swims to the edge. Her legs part to accommodate him as he rests his arms on her thighs, her hands coming to play with his wet hair.
"Think that's the sweetest thing you've ever said" she murmurs, pressing her lips to the top of his wet head as his arms wrap around her waist, dampening the skin. His hair now smelt faintly like chlorine but she could still smell his clear and inviting scent.
"I love you" he mumbles into her skin, cheek flat against her stomach, before it's moving again so he's lips can peck at the skin.
"I love you too" she says, pressing lightly against his chin so he's looking at her.
"You might as well not be wearing this though love" he says, pulling the fabric of her bikini bottoms before letting them go so they snap against her hip.
"Hmm... Take it off then" she says to tease him on purpose.
"Fucking hell" he groans at her words, head snapping backwards as she laughs loudly. His palms are flat either side of her thighs then, pushing against the surface until he rises slightly, arms flexing as he presses his lips to hers. It's a loving kiss, not rushed despite her words which tempted him.
"It suits you being here.... By the pool, or reading in the garden... Just sitting there looking pretty" he says as he lowers himself again.
"Yeah? Like doing everything for me?" she laughs at her words but he's nodding below her, hooking his arms around her.
"Id do anything for you" he says and although he's words are intense, she knows them to be true.
"I would for you too Matty. Absolutely anything"
"Yeah?" She nods "how about we go inside and get you out of whatever this is?" He asks, hooking his finger into the side of her bikini bottoms, letting it slap back to her hip again. She nods hastily, jumping up from the pool and running inside, giggling as the curly haired man chased after her, dripping in his wake.
----------------------------------------------------------
She was covered up in a shirt of his now, the buttons undone as she sat with her guitar in her lap.
Matty was in the kitchen, being domestic and cooking them dinner. She could hear him humming along to something, she laughed when she heard a clatter or heard him swear, usually having to call out an "I'm alright don't worry!"
"Matty come here a second please" she shouts out, hearing his bare feet hit against the tiles not a moment later.
"You alright my love?" He asks, cooking utensil in hand. She nods at him and he places a peck to her mouth.
"Will you listen to this a second? Tell me what you think?" She asks and he nods, placing himself down on the sofa opposite to where she's sat.
He hears her begin to play a familiar melody: the one she began writing when he saw her on the stage before that show.
When I was younger, I saw my daddy cry
And curse at the wind
He broke his own heart and I watched
As he tried to reassemble it
And my momma swore
That she would never let herself forget
And that was the day that I promised
I'd never sing of love if it does not exist
His heart aches at the words, desperately wanting to just take away the guitar and hug her, to let her know she had him now and love, it really did exist. Theirs was strong and he truly believed it could conquer all. He never really felt like that before, love before her was something that occupied his time, made life a little less shit and a little more bearable. But with her, her love, it was everything, it was the air he needed to breathe, the music to his ears, the blood pumping in his veins.
But darling, you are the only exception
You are the only exception
You are the only exception
You are the only exception
Her eyes find his and if he wasn't just a bit too realistic he would've thought time slowed. She was singing about him.
Maybe I know somewhere deep in my soul
That love never lasts
And we've got to find other ways to make it alone
Or keep a straight face
And I've always lived like this
Keeping a comfortable distance
And up until now I had sworn to myself
That I'm content with loneliness
Because none of it was ever worth the risk
Matty feels his heart yearn for her. The words she sung were beautiful, and they told him everything he had always wanted to know. About her parents (very briefly and he still wanted to know more) about how love was for her before him.
But you are the only exception
You are the only exception
You are the only exception
You are the only exception
I've got a tight grip on reality
But I can't let go of what's in front of me here
I know you're leaving in the morning when you wake up
Leave me with some kind of proof it's not a dream
Her voice picks up and he notices how for the first time, her eyes flutter close. He sees a single tear fall from the corner of her eye and his breath wavers and he feels a lump in his throat, especially when her eyes reopen and peer into his. He can see how she's bearing her soul to him, he sees it and he knows it's the most beautiful thing he's ever seen.
You are the only exception
You are the only exception
You are the only exception
You are the only exception
You are the only exception
You are the only exception
You are the only exception
You are the only exception
And I'm on my way to believing
Oh, and I'm on my way to believing
She sang the song he had heard before, but she sang it completely now. He finds himself with tears in his eyes and she's quick to place the guitar down, pulling him into her and cradling his body in her arms. He didn't need to ask, he knew it written for him and somehow he realises just how much she loved him. He had never been loved this hard before, this fiercely, and he had a feeling she hadn't either.
His voice is quiet when he finally speaks, not whispering but hushed.
"Love..." His voice trails off, not knowing what to say.
"You don't have to say anything... Just tell me if it's bad" she says but she knows by his reaction that it's not.
"Lou it's a beautiful song" he murmurs, looking at her now as he cradles her face gently.
"Scared it's a bit too personal to share..." She says, voicing her worries to the man she loved.
"I think it's truly beautiful and people will love it" he says, smiling widely now.
"Yeah I'm sure you'll love that a song about you is out there... And a love song at that" she says, both confirming that the song was indeed about him but also insinuating that she's written about him before.
"Does do something to my ego love can't deny that" he jokes, the both of them lightening the mood.
He wants to ask her about her parents, about the love that she's experienced in her life, but she reminds him that the food is left unattended and he reminds himself to ask another time. She joins him in the kitchen, to help when needed but to mainly watch as he cooked.
The way his arms flexed as he stirred the food in the pot has a sighing happily. A cooking apron rested around his bare neck, it was too hot to wear a shirt so he was just adorning a pair of swimming shorts and the apron.
"You look awfully domestic matty" she says, making him turn to look at her.
"Yeah? Like it?" He asks as he returns to the task at hand.
"Love it" she confirms making him smile. He lowers the heat of the food so it simmers as he walks over to where she's sat, stepping between her legs as she wraps her arms tightly around his waist.
"I love you" he says, making her smile, leaning up to meet him half way in a sweet kiss.
"Try this" he says, returning to the food, turning it off before bringing a spoonful to her mouth. He watches as she blows gently on it to cool it down, before he slides the spoon into her mouth. He groans as she moans upon tasting it, the act isnt supposed to be sexual but god it was. The spoon finds it's way out of her mouth and his mouth falls open slightly as she licks her lips.
"Jesus Christ Matty. That's heavenly" she says, surprised at his cooking skills. He doesn't say anything and she frowns up at him, asking him what's wrong.
"You're going to be the death of me, fuck the food come here" he says, throwing the spoon the side with a clatter before pulling her up from the chair and throwing her over his shoulder. Again she's surprised by his strength and all she can do is giggle as he carries them up the stairs.
--------------------------------------------------------
"My mum and dad loved each other loads, but my dad had his own struggles and he didn't really deal with them when he was with my mum... he didn't ever let her see him in a vulnerable way" Lou explains, lying on her side next to Matty, who was listening intently to every word she said. He had finally asked her about her parents and the love she grew up around.
"My mum got to the point where she couldn't live with him when he was like that... She realised she couldn't fix him... He had to do that himself" she explained.
"Eventually my dad got better, opening himself up to me, allowed me to see him in that way... And then he met Mia's mum and they had mia... And my mum found her partner..." She explains and Matty nods.
"How did it impact you though?" He asked, knowing there was more to he told.
"It kinda fucked me up... Wasn't their fault though... I seemed to always get into relationships with guys who were emotionally unavailable... Ones who got me to fall for them and then kept me at arms length... After a few times I just began keeping myself at a distance... The only love I really knew, before you to be honest, was always unrequited" she finally explains, confirming Matty's theory.
"Every single one of them were absolute fools for not loving you... You're the best thing that's ever happened to me" Matty says, pressing a soft kiss to her mouth, pulling her closer to him, his back flush against the bed as she rested on top of him.
"I love you" she murmurs against his mouth.
"Thank you for telling me all that" he says and she smiles at him.
"I want you to know everything"
"I want to know everything... And want you to know everything about me too" he says, his words making her smile widely because that's all she's ever wanted, to know him, fully know him. Years worth of horrible relationships with guys she didn't really want, were all made worth while, because now she was with her person, the person she was always supposed to be with.
"You were made for me, you're my person" he says softly and she nods at him.
"You're my person" she says, kissing him again, the both of them smiling at each other. Matty gently presses against her shoulders until she's against the bed, he repositions himself so he's hovering over her, holding himself up as his eyes wander over her. She usually would feel vulnerable like this, him watching her as she laid there, not a single item of clothing covering her. She felt completely bare, physically and metaphorically, but she didn't feel vulnerable, she couldn't, not with the way he looked at her like she was his entire world.
"You're the most beautiful thing I've ever seen" he says, the most beautiful thing, thing. Because she was more beautiful than any person he had ever laid eyes on, more beautiful than any flower, sunset, sunrise, more beautiful than any painting could even attempt to capture.
"I'm never going to love someone as much as I love you" he admits, her heart fluttering at his words. She feels his words in every part of her, she feels the effect he has on her brain, clouding every corner of it, painting it with beautiful shades of him. She feels the way he fills her heart, filling it so much it almost hurts, it hurts when she's without him, but luckily he filled it enough that he was still there, even when he wasn't. She feels the way he makes her hairs stand on end, her senses heightened, she feels the way every word he says has her core fluttering, longing for that sweet release only he was able to grant her.
She feels the way her pupils dilate when she sees him, vision narrowing, he defined the phrase "tunnel vision" because no one even existed when he was in the room. Every single part of her longed for him, never wanting to be without him, knowing that the thought of being without him, would destroy her, so she simply pushed it away, not even needing to think about it, because it simply wouldn't happen.
"Good" she says leaning up to place her lips to his, the man trying with all his willpower not to lower himself onto her.
"Because I don't plan on ever being without you" she says as he pulls away from him, him chasing her mouth with his own, enveloping his tongue with hers.
----------------------------------------------------------
They stand at the foot of a tiny shop, wedged in-between a rustic looking bar and a coffee shop. The tattoo sign hung above the frame, slanted, the lights flickering occasionally. The shop was situated about 2 minutes away from their villa and Matty saw it on the first day of their trip, insisting they had to get tattoos.
Matty's eyes are covered in a pair of Truman, black-ish glasses, he wears a pair of black denim shorts and white (and slightly sheer) white shirt, the sleeves of which are rolled up. She was wearing a white milkmaid-like summer dress, which was quite short and revealed the skin of her tanned legs and chest, her collarbones shining, tempting his eyes to look at the swell of her breasts picking out of the fabric. She thought he looked fit, he thought she looked ravishing
"Matty... This looks dodgy as fuck" she says making him laugh, eyes flicking from the sign to the man squeezing her hand. She watches as his cheeks stretch into a smile, his arm hooking around her shoulders, pulling her into him, pressing his lips against the side of her head.
"Come on love, gotta live life on the edge" he says, the words mumbled into her skin.
"If I get some infection because of you...." Her words trail off, her threat cut short.
"You'll be fine come on" he says pulling them into the shop. The bell above the door rings and an oldish looking man comes to greet them, a tanned man with black and grey hair greets them with a smile.
"What a beautiful couple!" He exclaims and the two smile. The man pauses, looking at Matty as he takes his glasses off, for a moment they think he's going to recognise them but the man laughs.
"You look like a rockstar!" Is all he says and it makes Lou chuckle.
"What can I do for you?" He asks and Matty's eyes find Lou's.
"I know what I want but I don't want you to see yet" Lou nods and Matty smiles.
"I'll get my son to come to you" the man says, his accent thick. He shouts in Italian, and seconds later a tanned man with black hair similar to his enters the room.
"This beautiful lady wants a tattoo" he says and the man comes towards her, smiling at her. He's arms are covered in tattoos and his eyes are piercingly blue. He's attractive, not that Lou even notices because she's too busy staring at her boyfriend who's talking to the man and being led away.
"What can I do for you?" The man asks and she proceeds telling him what she'd like.
The man applies the transfer onto her skin, complimenting her other tattoos as he does. His hand touches the box tattoo, complimenting the artwork.
"What's it for?" He asks and she smiles.
"It's for a band" she says simply, smiling at it.
"A logo?" She nods.
"You in the band?" He asks, accent thick.
"Yeah... Yeah I'm in the band" she smiles, a huge smile that makes the man smile too.
"That man had the same yes?" He asks and she nods again. He begins tattooing her.
"Your boyfriend?" He asks again, eyes momentarily flicking up to hers before focusing back on the gun, hands moving with precision.
"Yeah..." She says, the smile unwavering from her face.
"A lucky man" he says and she hears Matty speak from behind her, making her turn her head.
"I am indeed" he says as he bends down, their lips meet in a kiss
"That was quick, let me see" she says as the man continues, she's so used to the feeling now having had so many done, she's completely uphased.
"Later" he says, hiding his hand, she raises her eyebrows but let's it go.
"What are you getting?" He asks and she shakes her head.
"It's a surprise don't look" Matty turns his head at that, instead looking into her eyes instead of her arm where the ink is being applied.
"You truly are a beautiful couple" the younger man says and they both smile again.
"Thank you" Lou says and Matty nods, agreeing to the sentiment.
The man continues his work for a few more minutes, wrapping the tattoo. The couple both pay, thanking the two men before leaving the store.
They walk back to their villa, Matty holding her to his side. When they get back he's immediately asking to see the tattoo. She smiles as she takes the wraps off revealing it to him.
He sees two dates itched into her arm and instantly smiles at the sight, tears appearing in his eyes.
One date was the first date they joined them on tour "the day that changed my life" she says, earning her a kiss from the man. He looks down at the other date "the day I asked you to be my girlfriend?" He asks, she nods. They kiss again before they're hugging each other tightly.
"Fuck I love you" she's begging to see his now and he reveals his left hand, removing the tiny bit of cling film that wraps around his ring finger. She feels tears spring to her eyes now when she sees her initial itched into the skin.
"Matty..." She's full on sobbing now, and he pulls her into his embrace, their mouths attach. He forces them to pull apart, needing to say what he needed.
"I've got you in my life now and I'm never letting you go. You've got me forever and I know we haven't had many discussions about what we want in life... Maybe we won't get married or have kids... But I know I want you, forever" he says and she continues to cry at his words.
"Matty that means so much to me" she looks at the letter again, resting nicely against his ring finger.
"Do hope to make you my wife though" he says "wouldn't have got it there if not" they laugh then, lips pressing against each other quickly.
"Yeah?" She asks and he nods, sealing his words with a kiss.
"And one day maybe I'll fill that belly with babies" he says, hands resting over her stomach which warms with desire for him.
"Yeah?" She asks again, eyes coming to find his, darkening as they look at him, lip in-between his teeth.
He nods and she smirks "we could practice that bit" he laughs at this and pulls her into him.
"Kinda wanna be buried in-between those beautiful thighs of yours, will you let me do that love?" He asks and she's nodding eagerly up at him, mouth taken up by his not a second later.
It takes him no time at all to have her spread for him on the bed of their holiday home. He's buried in-between her thighs, glorious tongue lapping her up, her hand laced in his curls, tugging at the strands. He groans into her pussy, making her back arch. She holds the dress she was wearing around her waist so she could see him.
"oh fuck Matty" he loves the way his name falls easily from her lips. He smirks and nips at her clit, making her wince "Matthew" she warns.
"Sorry love" he smirks at the way she calls him Matthew again and delivers a calculated swipe over her clit as an apology.
"You're so good" she truly means it, head before him was mediocre at best but he... He has her seeing stars as soon as he gets his mouth on her.
"Taste so good love" he says, truly a starved man, searching for gold and by god does he find it. The way she's clenching around his tongue lets him know she needs more so two fingers find their way into her sopping cunt, instantly curling and hitting her gspot.
"fuck I'm going to cum Matty" her back arches impossibly more, almost giving her whiplash.
"cum for me darling' he says, latching onto her clit and sucking harshly as his fingers relentlessly curl into her. Her juices coat his chin as the wave breaks, pleasure coursing through her body until she's spasming, thighs closing round his head. She pushes his face into her cunt, unaware she's doing so but he moans into her, loving how harsh she was being.
"fuck" he moans into her, euphoria clouding all her senses. Her hands are gripping his hair tightly and slowly her grip loosening, on both his hair and her dress. Her thighs open as the fabric falls around his face.
"that was fucking hot' he says as he comes up to meet her lips with his. She tastes herself on his tongue as she sighs, still coming down from her high. She's quick to undo the zip of his shorts, pushing the denim down his legs, taking his boxers with it.
She grabs his hard member, delivering a few strokes, making him moan loudly, lips peeling off hers.
"fuck" he says as he looks down to watch her manicured hands stroke him, thumbing at the tip until his hips are thrusting into her hand.
"off, off off" she says as he other hand pushes against the fabric of his shirt. The man leans back, her hand still clasped around him as he shrugs his shirt off. He comes back to her, forehead resting against hers again as he watched himself disappear into her hand.
"Fucking hell" he says, mind snapping back to when he was a teenager, in a similar position to this, expect it was his own hand wrapped around himself as he thought about her.
"Really need to make love to you now" he says and his eyes find her darkened ones.
"yes please" she says and he smiles down her, groping her chin and thumbing at her lips. Despite his words he doesn't rush his movements, his eyes wander down her body, tugging at the fabric around her waist until her tits are spilling out of it, his mouth immediately wrapping around the peaked bud. She gasps and her hand falters around him, Matty slowly thrusts into her hand, wanting the pleasure but not wanting to spill over the edge.
"Fuck you're so perfect. My beautiful fucking angel" he says as his mouth attacks her nipples. His hand drifts back down to her legs, his fingers teasing her once more.
"Can't believe you went all day without wearing anything under this dress.... Just waiting and ready for me to fuck you yeah?" He asks, dark eyes finding hers.
"Always ready for you" she says, attempting to pull him forwards and into her but the man stops her.
"Please Matty... Please fuck me" she begs and that's enough for him so he slowly threads the head of him into her wet hole, the two of them sighing out in harmony.
"oh god you're so perfect. My perfect fucking girl. So good to me" he spews, forehead falling against hers as he watches her take him, until his pelvis is flush against hers. He grinds against her, holding myself close to her, letting her adjust.
"Move please" she says, and Matty is snapping forwards into her then, his thrusts deep and slow, hips moving attentively.
"Oh god" she moans, back arching off the bed just to be closer to him. His hands clamp around her waist, holding her to him.
"Not god love... Just me" he says, or should I say moans. She laughs but the noise is quickly replaced by a moan when he hits her gspot. He feels the way she flutters around him, clamping around him, nearly milking him for what his worth, causing his hips to stutter momentarily before he's continuing his purposeful movements.
"That the spot love?" He asks and she nods rigorously, pulling yet pushing him all at once.
"Need more love?" He asks, knowing her body like the back of his hand. She nods again, and he grunts as she clenches around him again.
"Flip" he commands, his tone changing slightly. She does as she's told and is quickly resting on her stomach. Matty grabs a pillow and places it under her hips before he's pulling her backside up by her hips.
A scream tares through her as he thrusts back into her. The angle forces him to hit her gspot with every thrust, the woman beneath him moaning into the pillow.
"Don't hold back on my account love" he says, his hands gripping her hips harshly now, the sting against her skin blissful. There's a cockiness to his words but she truly doesn't care, she's grown to love him when he's like this, and she knows one way which will have him losing his mind: by stroking that ego of his.
"Matty" she moans, although it's muffled against the pillow.
"Let me hear you love. let everyone know who's fucking you" he says, hips moving fast and hard into her, his skin slapping against hers. Her head tilts backwards and he sees tears of pleasure coating her cheeks.
"You're made for me Matty" she says. He watches as the words tumble from her mouth, her glazed eyes daring to flutter close but they stay open, trained on him. Her words have his movements faltering for a split second before he's relentlessly pushing and pulling from her.
"fuck.. you're beautiful. So fucking perfect - fuckkkk" he says, grunting as she begins pushing back into him, the push and pull of their movements intensifying their pleasure. She gasps out in pleasure, fluttering around him, eyes snapping shut as her back arches, clear signs that she was close.
"Come here, need you close" he admits, tugging her upwards until her back is flush with his chest.
"So perfect" he says, smearing his lips against her back.
"Fuck you're so good Matty" she says, feeling his cock twitch inside her, his ego clearly enjoying the compliment.
"Yeah? Tell me how good" he says and she goes to speak but he pulls out, easily maneuvering her body until she's on her back again, he thrusts back in before she even has time to miss him.
"No one fucks me like you Matty" she admits, "I'm going to cum, you're going to make me cum" she says, grasping his face in her hands, lips smearing against his. You're going to make me cum, those wo words almost kill him, but he couldn't think of a better way to go, buried in the girl he loves, the one girl he's always loved, the love of his life.
"Come with me Matty" she says, voice airy and ethereal.
"Oh fuck" he says, his body giving in at her words, hips stuttering forward as he cums inside her, her core squeezing around him as she cums too.
"I fucking love you" he says, laughing as he fills inside her, so content and happy with her.
"I love you Matty. So much" she says.
Note: I know it's long sorry.... Hope you enjoy though. Love you - Lou 🫶🏽

Summary:
The owner of a bookshop and a lost singer live in opposites worlds, with very little chances to meet in this reality.
Even though, their cosmos collapsed when Matty wandered around town, lost after a bad breakup, and without giving it much thought he roamed around the big shelves. He felt instantly welcomed by the environment Y/n created with care, so he kept walking through the door almost every week.
Oblivious --at first-- to the fact that he's a rock star, Y/n struck up a friendship with Matty, the guy that comes from time to time to read and chat with her. Uninterested in his fame, she cherishes his friendship, while her broken heart is terrified to see Matty as more than a friend.
Matty and Y/n would discover that they have more in common than they initially thought.

choose your own smut adventure. part seven – matty healy
Tumblr media
previous. start.
You hesitate. There’s a fluttering book of positions in your head, more a dirty collection of fantasies than a concrete list. Matty features in all of them. You blink at him, overwhelmed with choices. He tightens his hold around your hand, forcing you to consider him. His hair is sweaty and unruly, his lips swollen and sticky wet, his eyes dark and piercing. He looks like your favorite renaissance painting; artful, historical, mythical.
Your eyes greedily devour him. You part your lips, moaning confessionally, “I want to ride you.” Now that the thought sprouts out of your mouth, an excited thrum reverberates through you. It is pleasing just to vaguely imagine behind your eyelids. You don’t want him, you need him.
Matty makes a little choking sound, but he snaps back quicker than your bold blowjob demand. He doesn’t even faux-humbly make you repeat yourself, pretending to hesitate, to barter. He sees in your hungry gaze that there is no uncertainty in your words.
“I want you to ride me, too,” Matty whispers. You shiver at his tone, gravely and dangerous.
He bends down to kiss you. His hands tangle in your hair, stealing the breath out of your mouth, making you lightheaded. Your mind fizzles as you grasp at his shoulders. Your limbs buzz with pleasure like TV static. You spread your legs wider, trying to get some friction going.
Matty grabs a handful of your ass and makes you grind against his hard cock. You gasp, your mouth leaving his, and roll your head on the pillow. It’s a sinfully delicious feeling; he chuckles lightly in your neck.
But you don’t want to lay there and take it like usual. You want to blow his mind, change your life. You push on his shoulders, rolling the both of you until you straddle his lap.
Matty’s curls spill on the pillows. His hands settle on your thighs, spreading wide on the skin. He looks up at you, happy and proud, worshiping. You straighten your back; his eyes fall to your tits. You snort. Still just a man.
Now that you’re up there, you’re not quite sure what to do. It seems like an overwhelming endeavor, and you feel a ping of pity for all the men in your life who had to have been responsible for both your pleasures, unsuccessful as they were.
“I don’t—” You flush, looking away. Matty frowns at you. “I’ve never— done this. I don’t know how.”
“Well,” he smiles indulgently, rubbing his thumb on your skin. “It’s a good thing I’m meant to teach you, isn’t it?”
You chew on your lip, still a bit worried. “It might be bad,” you warn, just in case.
Matty laughs at that. “I promise it won’t. And, hey, if it really, really sucks, we can switch and try again next time.”
Next time rings in your head like holy words. You smile down at him, saccharine sweet. “Alright.” Your hands travel from his waist to his chest. Faint hair peppers it. “What do I do?”
Matty is overexcited, jittery. He paws at your thighs, your waist. You roll your hips into his like he showed you, creating sweet friction that makes you hold back a moan. “Oh, um— Condom first.”
You still above him. “I’m on the pill. And clean. You?”
Matty‘s eyes widen. “Yeah—” He tries to fake nonchalance. “Yes. I got tested recently.” Though his fingers dig into your waist, possessive, he still pants out a, “Are you sure?”
You nod fervently. You’ve never needed someone more than him, never felt raw desire for a man like this. You want all of him, deep inside of you. You can’t wait anymore. You might go totally insane.
You raise on your knees, gripping his cock and lining it up. He groans at the contact, bucking into your hand. “I’m sure,” you breathe. Slowly, you lower yourself on him.
A strike of pure, hot pleasure goes through your body. You whine at the intrusion. Your cunt throbs around him, and it makes him groan too, practically clawing at your skin. You’ve never felt more right, more complete.
Your head falls forward to look at him. You can’t stop those pathetic little pants from your mouth. “What now?” You say, but it’s more a high-pitched plea than a real question.
Matty moans, settling his hands over your hips. He takes a moment to gather his leaking brain, make sense of the two words you asked him. “Just— Just roll your hips like this.”
His hands move you on his cock, a raking motion that makes your clit hit his pelvis. You mewl on top of him, scrunching your face shut. “That’s it,” he encourages, even if you have yet to do anything.
When you finally grind on your own, Matty lets go of you. He scratches down your thighs instead, clenching and unclenching his hands like he’s physically stopping himself from taking charge, puppeteering you.
You giggle a little at this, trying your sloppy rolls, mix-matching the rhythm and sense to figure out what feels best. Ecstasy pools in your belly, pressing against your stomach. You feel loose on your bones.
But it’s still not enough. Tentatively, you rise up your knees, sliding him out of you to crash back down. Pleasure jolts you. You’re electrified. You make a little surprised scream. Then do it again, and again, chasing that pure bliss.
“Does that feel good for you?” You ask, looking at him with a worried little frown. He looks euphoric enough, parting his lips with groans and panting in the hot air. Sweaty and flushed and beautiful.
Matty nods loosely. He’s just as slack as you, just as gone. Good. At least you don’t feel so silly. You speed up your moves, bouncing on his cock. “And this?” You say, but it’s just to tease. The desperate grunt is indication enough.
“I don’t care either way,” he says. “Just use me.” A powerful thrill shoots up your spine. You fuck him harder, faster. You want to ruin him. “Fuck,” he cries. “I need you to come on my cock.”
“I will,” you pant.
Your knees are growing sore, but you persist, bucking on him until your brain drips down your spine. You want him deeper into you, want him buried so far you never forget the shape of him.
Your hand rests on his shoulder and you hold yourself up as you lean into him. Your hips angle differently, hitting a new spot over and over. You roll your eyes.
“Take it,” Matty moans. His hands grab your ass. “You’re so fucking hot.” The praise sings to you. You make a little whine.
The position quickly grows too tiring. You straighten up again, rolling onto his cock. Matty follows after you this time, sitting up. He paws at your bouncing tits.
You hook your arms around his neck and use him as leverage to push yourself up again. Matty twists your nipple as a silent prize. Those breathy pants in your ears make you lose your head.
You bite your lip. Your head falls back, baring your throat. Matty takes the opportunity to kiss there, licking and biting and sucking. Claiming you. Your back shivers. You buck on him faster.
Your eyes shut as pleasure rushes you. It’s all too intense suddenly, feeling him and seeing him. You’re desperate, the end so near you could taste it, yet too gone to properly do anything. Your thrusts are irregular, your hips grow sloppy, and your thighs strain every time you move.
Matty licks off his bruise. He must feel your diminishing stamina because he breathes, “You take my cock so well.” You nod at him, slack and gone. “You’re doing so good, baby. Just a bit more.”
To help, Matty slides a hand between your bodies, rubbing at your swollen clit. You gasp. Your head swims in ecstasy, heavy and off-kilter.
He wraps an arm around your waist, grounding you as he fucks into you, following your movements in tandem. “You were fucking made for me,” he whispers in your neck. Kisses it. “I need you to come on my cock now.” You nod, brainless. “Can you do that? Can you come for me, love?”
“Yes,” you hiss, scrunching your face. You practically strangle his neck with your embrace, using his shoulders as leverage as you buck on him. His finger on your clit doesn’t relent.
“Come for me,” he practically begs. “I need to see you. I need to feel you.” Your hips shudder. Pleasure waves through you, building and building. One hand takes your cheek. “Look at me.”
You snap your eyes open. His dark eyes meet yours. He’s so intense, so fucking desperate. You whine, he swipes your clit, and you come.
Your head falls into his shoulder and you give up, letting go. Ecstasy washes you and you don’t bother even grinding into him. Matty holds you up, fucking into you and working through your orgasm as you shake above him, weightless, boneless. You moan his name even after you’re done, like you couldn’t quite believe it was him.
Matty slows down to a stop, still inside of you. He kisses your shoulder. You laugh, disbelief spinning with the hot bliss. There’s something you want to say, instinctively, but you bite your tongue.
You raise your head finally, coming back into the world. Matty grins at you, proud and fucked out. You frown at him. “You haven’t come.” You gasp at the realization, trying to slide up him even through your screaming, sore thighs.
Matty laughs, pulling you back down on him, stopping you. “It’s okay,” he assures. His eyebrows rise suggestively. “There’s something I want to try anyway.”
You cock your head. “What?”

“I still love you,” Matty says. “If you’d like a status update.”  Ross smiles but it feels like it’s going to break his face in half. “I still love you,” he says back.  “Okay,” Matty says, nodding and withdrawing his hand. “We both still love each other. That’s good.” He clasps his hands together, twisting his fingers around, the skin turning white. Ross knows he’s dying to smoke, but he stays where he is. “Go on then,” Matty says after a moment.  Ross opens his mouth to speak again, to let out all the awful things that might make Matty stop loving him.

i'm not very good at this sort of thing
Tumblr media
matty and the missus' wedding. a little smut, a lot of sweetness. i hope you enjoy. i am feeling very soft thinking about this era of their relationship. i would love to write more lovey dovey stuff like this. love these two forever and ever. thanks for supporting me and them and the blog. you're all a bunch of legends. love you forever and then some. warnings: some smut in the beginning so if you're a minor don't read ok thank you also lots of sweet stuff if you're looking for angst it's not here
Matty’s curls hang low in your face as his hips thrust against yours, rocking back and forth as your legs tighten around his waist, your hands cupping his cheeks as your lips sloppily meet in the middle amidst your moans and grunts. His cock is buried deep inside of you, and you can feel yourself nearing the edge of release, the pleasure building in your abdomen and your fingertips gripping the sheets beneath you. His words are murmured against your skin, rushes of “I love you,” “God, you feel so good,” and many moments of “fuck” grunted in your ear. His words alone could bring you there, but the feeling of him pushing into you, his thighs tense between yours, is enough to push you over the edge.
His orgasm washes over him as you tense and squeeze around him, your body growing lax beneath him as he kisses over your thighs and your stomach and up your chest, nuzzling in your neck and pressing tiny kisses into your skin. Circling your arms around his shoulders, holding him tightly to you, you can see your engagement ring shining with the sunlight piercing through the window. Matty had just gotten it cleaned for the first time, and it looks brand new, you’d say, almost too pretty to wear. Almost being the key word there, because you haven’t taken it off since he slid it on your finger. Matty lifts his head when you sigh, his lips pulled into a half smile that you adore so openly.
“Are your legs shaking?”
“Maybe,” you huff, slowly releasing your legs from around his waist and stretching them out against the crisp white sheets. Matty lifts his body from yours, with a laugh, slowly pulling out of you and lying beside you, stretching himself out before sitting upright and reaching for his phone on the bedside table. “Have you picked up our clothes from the dry cleaners?”
“I have to do that in an hour or so. Do you know what time everyone is coming over?”
“Around two,” you say, rolling onto your side and laying your head on his chest, closing your eyes to the sound of his heartbeat thrumming under your ears. “Can we go look at wedding bands, today?”
“Will we have time?”
“It’s only,” you say, pausing to look at the time on his screen, “half eight. I think if we’re out the door by ten we can grab our dry cleaning and look at wedding bands and be back and ready for the party by two.”
“Alright, darling, whatever you like,” Matty hums, kissing your forehead and setting his phone beside him, soaking in the last minutes of quiet before a busy day. “It’s supposed to be beautiful out, today. It would be a lovely day to get married.” Matty’s eyes meet yours for a moment. “I was kidding, love.”
“Are you?”
“I mean, yeah,” he says, patting your backside and nudging you away from him – the longer you’re on him the longer he’ll prolong staying in bed – swinging his legs over the side of the bed and reaching for a clean pair of boxers in the bedside table drawer. “I haven’t got anything ready for you. I haven’t planned the honeymoon or my vows or even what I want to wear. And God, I’ll be a mess when you walk down the aisle, I haven’t prepared myself for that.”
“I suppose you’re right,” you hum, admiring him as he slowly pulls trousers up his legs and settles the waistband just right on his hips. “I wouldn’t mind it, though.”
“Wouldn’t mind what, darling?”
“Just winging it.” There’s a sentiment in the air that you can’t quite put your finger on, an emotion you’ve never touched bubbling at the surface. More than love, more than genuine care, it’s almost a feeling of nostalgia, to be at time in your life where surprising your friends and family with a celebration of your love for one another would be reminiscent of the past, an ode to the times where you snuck around and hid in closets and bedrooms. Something new, untouched in your emotional toolkit. “I don’t think it’d throw our friends off that much. Our families wouldn’t mind as long as they’re there. It’d save us all a hassle, to be honest.”
“I can see the wheels turning in your head, YN.” Matty pulls a shirt over his head and lays his hands flat on the mattress, leaning over to press his lips to yours. “We’re not getting married, today, my dear.”
“But, what if we did?”
Matty puffs out a breath and kisses your temple, his lips lingering on your skin for more than a moment before conceding, “Then I guess we’re going to buy wedding bands, aren’t we?”
“I promise we can do the whole big reception and party and booze and hundreds of guests and friends and family another time, Matty,” you reason, grabbing his cheeks and holding his face flush to yours, your noses pressed against each other at the bridge. “But this, this I want to be just us and our immediate family. You and me. The guys. Our parents. Our siblings. Twenty people max. All in our backyard. We’ll get everyone here and tell them it’s the engagement party but when we go to make a toast, we’ll tell everyone to get in their cars and get on their way to the courthouse. And then we’ll come back here and celebrate. It’ll be just like we pictured it.”
“Just how you pictured it, darling.” Matty takes note of your softened and defeated expression. “Darling, will this make you happy?”
“I don’t want something big. I just want you and me.”
“I’m pretty sure I have to be there either way, my love.”
“Matty.”
“Look,” Matty says softly, adjusting his body to sit on the edge of the mattress, his face still held between your palms, his nose brushed against yours, “if this is how you picture our wedding day, then I’m in. It’s our day, sure, but you waited long enough for me to get my shit together, the least I can do is make sure it’s the day of your dreams.”
You lean forward, pressing your lips to his sweetly, a smile breaking apart where your mouths meet. “I love you massively, deep in the depths of my bones.”
“I don’t even think that’s possible.”
“It’s possible.”
“Alright, Madam Poetry, we have rings to buy and flowers to find all in the span of,” Matty checks his phone, “four hours.”
Kissing Matty once more for good measure, you push off the mattress, rattling about in your wardrobe to find your clothing. Matty assures you that you don’t have to rush, just put a little pep in your step, and that you don’t want to forget anything. You ask him to grab all the things for a marriage certificate (you’ve been researching in your free time) and you stand in front of the mirror, sure and ready with your decision. You have everything you need, in and including a note on your phone that you’ve been drafting over and over since the day after you got engaged.
“Are you ready, darling?”
“I am,” you say surely, tucking your things in your purse and grabbing his hand, following his lead out the door. He’s chattering about what garnish of metal he’s thinking about for his ring, and you can see the excitement beginning to fill his features, and you wonder if it’s always been there, the anticipation of marrying you, and you just never noticed. All the words you’ve been thinking of for the last twenty minutes sit resting on the tip of your tongue, and you don’t want to ruin the excitement, yet you know you need to ask. Matty’s question of what you’re thinking about draws you from your daydream and you blurt out, “Have you written your vows yet?”
///
Outside couldn’t have been better – a sunny afternoon with clear skies and warm temperament basking over everyone in the garden, two tables filled with family and the closest friends to you, glasses of champagne gathered around the place settings that will be filled with catered food later in the evening. Matty miraculously (although not surprisingly) pulled through on the surprise by only telling Jamie what was happening today (as he would be in attendance, of course) and the extra knowing hands allowed for you two to solely focus on buying the rings and the flowers and getting Matty’s suit dry cleaned and your dress properly steamed for the afternoon – a white, silk number that fit perfectly to your body. Matty nearly burst at the seams when George rang him to ask what he should bring to the party, and you kept a close eye on him to ensure the secret would remain just that – a secret.
Matty pulls you into his side, kissing your temple sweetly. “Is it time?” he whispers, waiting for you to meet his gaze and nod at him subtly, your peripheral vision catching the eyes of George and Ross in the corner. Carly stands close by, handing a glass of champagne to Adam (if Matty got to tell an important person, you got to tell an important person), and you smile, grabbing your own and holding it up for everyone to see.
“Matty and I wanted to thank you all for coming to our engagement party, today. All of us are only in town for a little while and we know you all have things to be doing, but it felt like the perfect time to celebrate the engagement and everything that it means from here on out,” you say, your eyes welling with tears at the thought of what comes next. It’s what you’ve been waiting for all these years, all the waiting and yearning for him behind closed doors, it’s coming to a close, and to a new beginning all at once. “I’m sure all of you were waiting for our engagement as much as I was,” you say, laughing with your friends and family as a surrounding sea of head nods and laughter fills your garden. “I just wanted to say a thank you, from Matty and myself, to all of you, for always loving and supporting us and seeing our relationship through just as much as we did. Your love and support have meant everything to us.” Matty’s hand squeezes yours.
“That’s actually why we told you all to dress up a bit more formally, today,” Matty begins, waving his champagne glass towards the friends and family all dressed in trousers and skirts. “’Cause it’s not just an engagement party, you know, why would we ever do anything so lackluster?” Matty smirks at his mother, who seemingly has already caught on, and is whispering in your mother’s ear as Matty gathers the courage to say what he really means. “What I really mean to say is, well, we’re getting married. Today, I mean. Cars are on their way to take us to the courthouse, and we’ve already done all the paperwork and things. You’ll all be a witness. A true family affair.”
“I know the whole wedding planning is the usual thing to do but, to be fair, it’s really not my speed and I’d much rather celebrate with just you lot. This is what we want to do,” you say, looking to Matty, who has a smile plastered from ear to ear. “All we want from you all is lots of pictures and videos. That’s all we ask. We have plenty of food and drinks and wine and dancing waiting for us for when we get back.”
“That’s it, then? We’re doing this thing?” George chimes in from against the wall, a grin spreading across his lips as he walks towards his best friend. “Are you going to play it?”
“Play what?” you say, turning your head towards George and Matty and pressing your lips together in a tight line, trying to read the facial expressions between the two of them. Matty nods and George claps him on the shoulder, kissing his cheek and hurrying inside to grab what you can assume to be an instrument. Matty kisses your cheek and pulls a chair out for you, grabbing the chair beside you and sitting in it himself. “Matty, what are you playing?”
Matty takes a sip of the champagne and takes the guitar from George, settling the strings in the right places and allowing Carly and George to gather everyone around where you’re sitting, everyone seeming to know exactly what’s happening besides you. “You are the last person to know about this,” Matty says, strumming the strings lightly, “mainly because I have been trying to find the words to write normal vows to you since the night we got engaged. I'm not very good at this sort of thing, as you know. I just couldn’t make anything sound right and I knew nothing would be comparable to what you’ve written, so I figured I’d do what I knew best, and George and I got in the studio, and we wrote. Well, I wrote. I wrote about you and what it means to be loved by you. And I wrote about how I think I can get better whenever I’m with you, because you make things better, darling. You make everything better.” Matty wipes the corner of his eye. “So, while I didn’t write a three-paragraph barrage of my love for you, I did write a three-minute song of it. I would like to play that for you, now, because I do think it would be very weird to pull out a guitar in the middle of a courthouse.” Matty laughs with you, and you can hear the surrounding laughter behind you. “Can I play my vows for you, sweetheart?”
And the only thing you can do is nod quietly, swallowing back tears as his fingers splay out over the strings.
“Our first kiss was Christmas in the Walmart toy department // She said, "I should take you with me when I leave" // When we were searchin' New York for a fancy, new apartment // She said, "Central Park is Sea World for trees.” Matty’s voice is soft, and the only thing you can hear besides his voice is the quiet chirping of birds far off in the distance, and you wish you could take a picture of the moment, of you and Matty and the loved ones around you, but you swear you’ll keep it all in your memory. “You ask about the cows, wearin' my sweater // It's somethin' 'bout the weather that makes them lie down // The only time I feel I might get better is when we are together. I like socks with sandals, she's more into scented candles // Oh, I'll never get that smell out of my bag // And it was poorly handled, the day we both got canceled // Because I'm a racist and you're some kind of slag.” Matty laughs breathily and you can feel yourself laughing under the tears in your eyes. “You ask about the cows, wearin' my sweater // It's somethin' 'bout the weather that makes them lie down // The only time I feel I might get better is when we are together, oh, together.” Matty takes a breath, “"I'm better at writing" was just a way to get you biting, oh // The truth is that our egos are absurd // I thought we were fighting but it seems I was gaslighting you // I didn't know that it had its own word // You still ask about the cows, wearin' my sweater // Said it's something 'bout the weather that makes them lie down // The only time I feel I might get better is when we are together.”
Matty sets the guitar in George’s hands and grabs your hands, pulling you into his lap. He gently wipes the tears from your eyes and says, “I know for a fact that I get better when I’m with you, and I want to spend every day for the rest of my life, and into the next one, getting better with you, darling. You are the better half of me. I can’t wait to make you my wife.”
Matty sighs when you grab his cheeks and kiss him, falling into your touch and blissfully ignoring the coos from your family around you, your friends hollering and whistling for you. Adam calls that the cars are here, and Carly begins ushering everyone outside for you. You take one more moment with Matty alone, soaking in what it feels like now, to be moments away from your wedding, from being his wife. You circle your arms around his shoulders, hugging him tightly, and whisper into his ear, “I’ve been getting better since the day I met you.”
///
Matty is holding your hands tightly as you stand in front of the officiant at the courthouse, all your friends and family adoringly taking videos and photographs, your excitement bubbling over in your grin and wide eyes, a mirrored expression on Matty’s face. His hands are shaking in yours, and you squeeze him tightly to reassure him that you’re there, that you’re never going anywhere. On your left, the officiant is saying many things about love and quoting great philosophers and therapists and people you’ve never heard of, all things you wish you could say you wanted to remember, but all you want to remember is this feeling, the feeling of Matty’s hands in yours and the smile on his face and the way his curls are falling in his eyes and the way your heart feels like it’s sitting permanently in your throat with nerves.
“It’s time for your vows, YN. Have you prepared your own, too?”
“I have mine, yes,” you say, looking at Carly nervously and smiling when she hands you your phone, your fingers fiddling with the screen to find the note that you’ve labelled honey for as long as you can remember. “Alain de Botton said, ‘Perhaps it is true that we do not really exist until there is someone there to see us existing, we cannot properly speak until there is someone who can understand what we are saying in essence, we are not wholly alive until we are loved.’ I have been loved my whole life, and I have loved my whole life, but until I was thirteen, I had never been loved by you. It’s a special thing, to meet the person you’re meant to share your life with at such a young age, because I have had the privilege of sharing my life with you for more than half of it. I do believe that I was merely existing before I met you, because meeting you had meant that I met my people. My best friends. My confidants. My family. My village. Because I met you, I found people that understood what I was saying, even when I didn’t exactly know what I was saying myself. Because I met you, I realized what it meant to really feel alive. I know that being alive feels like staying up until four in the morning talking and dancing and singing together after being awake for twenty hours. I know that being alive means crying together when things go wrong. I know that being alive means laughing at our mistakes and loving each other in spite of them. And I know that being alive means I get to love you unconditionally and without limit. Yes, perhaps it is true that we do not really exist until there is someone to see us existing. And if it’s you that sees me exist, I will be happy forever.”
Matty looks at the officiant and looks at you, smiling brightly. “This is why I went first.” George laughs and Ross shakes his head. Carly reaches over and hands you a tissue, always prepared and already ready. Matty looks to the officiant, again, and says, “I need her to be my wife, now. Quickly, if possible.”
Matty smiles when you laugh, and you can see that the sound of it alone makes his eyes light up with joy. Minutes go by and words are shared between you and the officiant and Matty, I do and Yes, I will and a Thank God before Matty’s mouth is on yours, kissing you deeply, his hands holding your cheeks as your body presses against his. He kisses you for what feels like forever, and you’re lost in it, in the feeling of him and his mouth and what it means.
You’re married. You and Matty are married.
“We’re married,” you whisper, pulling away to catch your breath.
“We are. You’re my missus, darling. Now and forever, you’re all mine. And, might I add, you’re absolutely dashing in all white.” Matty tucks his thumb under your chin, “What’s going in that brain of yours? Are you happy?”
“I’m so happy, I don’t know what to do with all of it,” you whisper, the tears overflowing in your eyes and creasing in the corners. “I love you forever.”
“And I’ll love you longer.”

Warning: smut, minors DNI
She slips the black silk dress over her figure, pulling it down until the bottom rested against the middle of her thighs. She slipped on her black heels, something she didn't wear too often.
Matty was taking her to a restaurant somewhere unknown to her, he had simply told her that he'd have to drive them, and the thought of him behind the wheel of the car he had rented out this morning, has her mind spiraling. She finds the gold 'M' necklace she took off to shower, attempting to clasp it around her neck, sighing frustratingly when she failed to do so.
"Matty!" She calls out, looking at herself in the mirror to ensure she was happy with the way she looked. Her hair was down and curled, her make up was light, she hardly wore anything for the Italian sun gave her a natural flush and glow.
"Babe!!" She calls out when he doesn't appear.
"Coming love" he says, stepping into the bedroom not a second later, a white towel wrapped around his waist, as he ran another one through his hair, trying to dry it. The towel halts in his hair as his eyes land on her figure.
"Jesus" he says, making her turn around to see him. Her breath catches, mimicking his as she takes in his appearance, fresh out of the shower, a few stray water droplets coating his skin, his tattooes glistening as the muscles of his chest and abdomen constricted.
She swallows and snaps herself out of it, Matty still trying to do the same.
"Can you do this up for me please?" She asks, turning around and revealing the clasp of her necklace. The man walks towards her, standing directly behind her, his front nearly flushed against her back.
"Yeah I can do that..." He says, gripping the clasp with shaky fingers. His eyes find hers in the mirror, watching as her mouth fell open slightly as his fingers grazed her neck. He clasps the necklace, drifting his fingertips down her neck until they're resting against her waist. He doesn't break eye contact with her as he lowers his mouth to the exposed skin of her shoulder, following up until he's kissing her neck.
She slightly gasps as he kisses her neck, mumbling a "you look so beautiful my love" his lips drifting along her neck to the skin of her ear.
"So fucking beautiful" he says, grasping her waist tightly and pulling her back to him. She feels him heavy and hard against her bottom, making her gasp as he grunts. She can't help but push back against him, feeling what she did to him.
"Feel that love?" He says, watching her in the mirror as she nods "feel what you do to me"
"Matty" she moans. He spins her round quickly, smearing his mouth to hers, tongues immediately meeting in a passionate fight. She tugs at his hair as he grasps her chin, one finger resting against her cheek, gently soothing over the skin, a complete contrast to how rapidly his tongue moved against hers.
"You need to get changed" she says, hands smoothing down his chest, feeling the muscles constrict. Her fingertips graze the "v" at the base of his abdomen, feeling tempted to kneel down and run her tongue along them. Despite her words her hand cups his erection through the towel before tugging at it, letting it fall. The pair break away from each other, looking between them at where Matty stood proud.
"fuck" she says, biting her bottom lip, just the sight of him had her clenching. The singular word falling from her lips stroked his ego and he can't help but smirk to himself, knowing what he did to her.
"God I need you... Always need you" he says eyes snapping to hers again.
She's quickly pushing against his shoulders until he falls against the bed. She quickly straddles him, holding him by the base as she teases herself with the tip of him.
"Of course you're not wearing underwear... Fuck" he moans out, her hand smearing the precum that bubbles over his tip along his shaft. She moans as she continues to massage her clit with his head.
"Thought you wanted me to get changed" his hands clamp around her waist as she finally lowers herself onto him.
"Fuck" his eyes snap to where she's taking him, the both of them moaning loudly when he bottoms out.
"Oh fuck Matty. You're so deep" she holds herself still, clenching around him as she feels how deep he is. He was flush against her gspot, making her mouth hang open, already blissed out.
"Fuck you're perfect. Look so fucking good like this" he smears his lips against her neck again, trying not to thrust upwards as she rolls her hips against him.
She raises her hips experimentally, a breathy sigh and a high pitch moan falling from her mouth all at once when she lowers herself back down.
Matty takes handfuls of her arse, rolling her towards him as she continues bouncing on top of him.
"oh fuck Matty" she moans, head falling into the crook of his neck. Her legs already feel like jelly and her pace falters as the tip of him massages her gspot with every stroke. Matty takes over, hips snapping up into her relentlessly. He grunts as she clenches around him, sending his mind into overdrive. His hand drifts from her waist to her abdomen, pressing against her flesh.
"Fuck darling... Oh fuckkkk" his moan is drawn out and his hips stutter "I'm going to cum" he says and she nods into his neck, letting him know she was close too.
"Cum for me" she moans into his ear. His body obeys her words, hips stuttering, thrusting into her once more before he spills inside her. She joins him a second later, body spasming before she falls slack against him, nails racking down his back as she calls out his name.
"I love you..." He murmurs, breathing heavily, his head falling backwards with every word 'so much" he says.
"I love you too" she says, pulling back to look at the blissed out man. She can feel his juices spilling from her and her eyes snap down to meet the sight. Mattys eyes follow and he moans, she feels him twitch inside her and she smirks.
"Fucking coating me love" he says, the mix of them, dripping down onto the base of his cock, coating her thighs as she raises her hips up, his member slipping out.
She stands from him and he groans, not wanting her to leave, but he's instantly silenced when she falls to her knees, her hand grasping the base of his softening cock, coated in their juices.
He feels himself start to harden again as she grasps him, her tongue lapping up the mixture of them. The speed in which he becomes rock hard is unfathomable and suddenly he's heavy when she takes him into her mouth. His hand grasps her hair as he grunts.
"oh fuck... Shit you're an angel" he says as she deep throats him, he finds himself tugging on the hair that she styled and he instantly apolgises. She pulls back from him, shaking her head, encouraging him to tug, to do as he pleases.
"Use me" she says as her tongue runs along the head of him again, collecting the new formation of precum.
"Baby... No" he shakes his head and she pouts.
"Please..." She begs, mouth wrapping around him again, bopping up and down a few times and sucking him to try and convince him.
"Shit" his hand tightens in her hair and his hips rise from the bed just a little, forcing himself further into her mouth.
He grunts, groans and whines as his hips begin moving in a regular pattern, backwards and forwards, slowly at first. Until he hears her moan, a sound that faintly sounds like his name and suddenly his hips are thrusting harshly into her mouth, his cock moving further into her warm mouth until he's practically diving down her throat, causing her to gag and moan around him.
Her eyes glisten as she looks up at him, her hands are firmly clasped around his bare calves and he can't help but moan her name loudly.
"I fucking love you" he says, unable to help but express his love for her.
"oh shit, you're going to make me cum" he says making her moan around him. His hips snap forwards again, drawing tears from her eyes when he hits the back of her throat again.
The pain is delicious, when it's him giving it to her, when it's him hitting the back of her throat, when it's him grunting above her and calling out her name like it's the only word he knows, when it's him twitching and spilling down her throat.
He cums fast and lots, she attempts to swallow every drop, some spilling from her mouth and dribbling down her chin. His thumb collects the overspill and she pulls him out of her mouth, wrapping her lips around his thumb instead, sucking off the last bits of him.
"mmm" she moans, eyes fluttering. he shakes his head, laughing at the whole ordeal
"How the fuck did I manage to get you" he says, pulling her up towards him, smearing their lips and tongues against one another.
"I'm so fucking lucky' he murmurs against her mouth, pulling away when his smile becomes to big for the kiss to continue.
"Let's get you cleaned up yeah?" He says, she nods.
"Sorry I ruined your make up .. and your hair. Still look so beautiful" he says and she laughs, shaking her head.
"You can ruin me any day" she jokes, making them both laugh now.
"Seriously Lou... I love you so much"
"I love you too Matty..."
"How about we have a shower... And forget about that meal... Can order some food here"
"Matty.... We're in Italy... And so far we haven't seen much of it"
"Don't need to... I've got you"
"It's supposed to be very pretty"
"Not as pretty as you my love"
"I was looking forward to you driving us somewhere" she says and an idea immediately pops in his mind.
"Okay, how about this... We get you showered, and then I drive us to the beach" she likes the idea of that, toes buried in the sand, hands intertwined, her hair blowing freely and the sea salt air making his curls go crazy. Watching the sunset with the love of her life as he told her how much he loved her. A smile breaks out on her face and she nods, he leans down to place an agreeing kiss to her lips.
She quickly showers, removing all the makeup, throwing her hair into a quick plait, not bothering to dry it. She walks into their bedroom, seeing Matty dressed in a pair of black slacks and a white shirt, the sleeves rolled up his forearms, ending at his elbow.
"You look nice" she compliments him, retrieving a white summer dress from the wardrobe, turning to him as he smiles at her. She places it down on their bed, finding a pair of underwear and slipping them on, dropping her robe as she does.
He can't help but stare, eyes raking down her body, clad in a tiny pair of white lace underwear, her chest exposed. His eyes weren't filled with lust but an intense and true fond look covered his features.
"You're so unbelievably beautiful" he says, making a deep crimson coat her cheeks. She picks up her dress tugging it over her head and letting it fall down her hips, gently pulling at the bottom until it layed straight. She turns around, her back facing him, silently asking him to do it up.
His fingertips caress the skin of her back as he does the zip up, pressing a kiss in-between her shoulder blades before the zip passes it, leaving one last kiss on her shoulder before it fully closes.
"Ready?" He asks and she turns and she nods, leaning up to peck at his lips.
Her hands land on his chest, smoothing against the fabric until they're resting against his shoulders.
"Very handsome" she says, making him smile and place another kiss to her lips.
They leave their villa, the car Mattys hired sitting out the front, the roof is already down and Matty rounds her side of the door, opening it and allowing her to get in, leaning down to peck her lips before jokingly sliding across the front of the car. It had her throwing her head back in a laugh, a look of pure love and adoration coming from her when he's finally seated and looking at her.
They begin driving, him with one hand on the steering wheel, one hand clamped over her thigh, her with her head leant back, her hair drifting in the wind. He has to will himself to not look at her too long, to focus on the road, but it's hard, unbelievably so when she's looking so god damn perfect.
"You're beautiful my darling...an angel.... My angel" he murmurs and one point and she takes his hand in hers, bringing to her lips and kissing the skin..
"I love you" she says against his hand, lips lightly pressing against her initial that's tattooed on his skin.
"I love you more"
They park up a little while away from the beach, walking hand in hand, each of them holding their shoes in the unoccupied hand until their toes are buried in the sand. It's still slightly warm and she smiles at the feeling.
She stops, and drops her shoes to the ground, taking in the breathtaking view in front of her. The seas calmly lapped at the shore, the sunset, beautiful hews of orange and pink and blue, smiling at them.
His eyes never leave her though, her with her mouth slightly agape, eyes sparkling, taking in the beauty in front of her. But she was more beautiful.
"It's so beautiful" she says, grasping his hand tightly.
"It really is" he says, it's cliche, him talking about her whilst she's talking about something else that's beautiful. But he doesn't care. He doesn't care if he was a cliche with her. Their love was far better than all of that.
They eventually sit down on the sand, Matty behind her, her in-between his legs, his lips moving gently across her shoulder, kissing the tanned skin.
"I can see us getting married somewhere like this someday" he admits and she turns slightly in his embrace to see if he's being serious. He is, deadly serious.
"Just you in a beautiful dress, taking my breath away like usual... And the boys would be there of course. And a few of our close family members' he says and she smiles back at him.
"Although the thought of just running away with you and getting married just the two of us sounds awfully appealing" he admits and she smiles again.
"I love you so much Matthew Timothy Healy" she admits, her toothy smile meeting his until their lips are closing against each other.
"I love you more my pretty girl... So much more"
